Very tasty sandwiches, but they could be a little bigger.

Absolutely fantastic service and idea. I got to try so many different types of cheeses and that brown sugar biscuit with gouda. AMAZING!

We sat outside. The staff were lovely but Magda in particular could not do enough for us. She made our dining experience very special and even charged my phone for me (so I could check in to my hotel later), reminding me of a medication alarm I had set on my phone during our meal. We will definitely be back.

I was really looking forward to The Cheese Bar based on the menu. There were things we liked a lot (grilled cheese and cheese sticks) and things we didn't like so much (Mac n cheese). It's in Camden market, so incredibly loud and busy outside. The seating area inside is small. The service, however, is off the charts. They allowed us to bring in our luggage when we ate there coming directly from the airport.

Modern english food. Very friendy and tasty.

Really nice concept if you are a cheese lover. Their port&stilton affogato dessert is definitely the one to come back for!

We stumbled upon this cheese bar by chance As good French people that we are, we wanted to taste English cheeses We came across a very nice French waiter who advised us and gave us lots of explanations about cheeses So we tasted several cheeses and their accompaniments The cheeses are excellent, 2 “complaints”: the portions are small, and it’s served with crackers, I think they would be better enjoyed with bread We also tasted dishes The truffle cheese burger was good

As a lover of cheese this place was amazing for me. Staff was very nice and attentive and the food was very good. I got the 5 cheese Mac as well as a 3 cheese sample board but forgot to take a picture before it was all eaten. They also give free water which I like!

Amazing place. Small, but excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Wide variety of cheeses to pick from, including main dishes. The also have a good selection of beers and ciders, including port.

Burger restaurant specializing in cheese. Quite delicious burger, accompanied by potatoes, with free sauce on the side. The meat was phenomenal, and the waitresses' treatment was quite pleasant.

The burger and fries were amazing! Best burger I’ve had in London. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed. Plenty of seating and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

They have a deal for mac and cheese on Monday that is 6 pounds for a decent portion size with lots of cheese. The cheese is mild in the mac and cheese but they have a good variety of British cheeses that would be more flavourful. They also had a very tempting grilled cheese sandwich that was loaded with all kinds of cheese and we watched them make a ton just outside their shop. The Cheese Bar is located in Camden Market and has tables inside and outside to sit down. The closest metro is Camden Town and there are many shops and stalls to check out throughout the market.

Do you love cheese? Do you enjoy wine with your cheese? If you answered yes to either of these questions, this is the place for you. I had 5 Cheese Mac, cheesy truffle fries & a vanilla shake - as a cheese-loving person on the spectrum, it was a safe food haven. The Mac is very very nice and cheesy, and the crunchy breadcrumb topping and black pepper inside it was a pleasant eat. It's served in a... mini skillet? I think that's the name? The truffle fries.... Mmm. Exactly as tasty as I had hoped. If you haven't tried truffle fries, I would wager you are doing yourself a disservice. The vanilla shake isn't too vanilla-y (not quite vanilla-y enough for my taste, I prefer more shaken udder levels of vanilla), but it's a nice balance between creamy and smooth. Not too thick, not too thin. A Goldilocks shake in texture. I had to have 2, as the first one disappeared rather quickly. My plus 2 had the poutine - they said it was good, but Canadians do it better (having family in Canada, they are the expert). I tried a little, and I couldn't see the appeal. They also loved the truffle fries and the Mac (we shared a little), and felt the same way as I about both those two as well as the shake, also ordering a second shake. Pleasant service - very friendly, good timing (you can have a nice conversation and a good look through the menu before you order) and efficient. Not too long a wait, about 15-20 minutes or so. Wasn't keeping track though :p Atmosphere is nice, inside it's cooled and has modern design. Outside is still comfy, and you can people watch (added bonus) if that's your thing :) It rained, and the... Awnings? Umbrellas? Provided ample shelter. All in all, would recommend. Would also revisit if I am in the area again.

I ordered the Mac and cheese to share with my partner and in fairness the taste was great. What truly left a rotten taste in the mouth was pulling a finger nail out of my mouth that had previously been swimming around in the cheese. I spoke to a lady who at first thought I was showing her some cheese off of the plate. The manager then came out and I explained what had happened. I said that I would just like to leave and not pay for the food as to not make too much fuss. The manager seemed to take offense that I would complain and walked away. When he came back he was still unapologetic and said there's no point in him arguing over £6. All I was truly expecting was a sincere apology and I wouldnt of has to write this review.

Had high hopes but this was a major disappointment. Lack luster service and the menu was good in theory however most good was bland at best. I had raclette and potato’s , daughter enjoyed her burger other daughter had mozzarella sticks, only 3 — for price not worth it

We thought we would try this place while we were in Camden as we love cheese and have been spoilt on cruise ships and of course, in France. We ordered a cheese plate and a craft of wine, the bill was over £42. Great service and friendly staff but the 3 cheeses, crackers and a tiny amount of pickle does not justify the high price tag. We were quite shocked at just how small the portions of everything was. The excuse was that it is specialty cheese, sorry but its special cheese anywhere you go! Give value and increase the portions, that might encourage a repeat customer, instead of mostly tourists. Balanced and honest thoughts!

Lovely option in Camden to eat something kind of unique: a grilled cheese sandwich. Service was super nice. It was very nice sitting at the bar stool and ordering directly to the bartender. Sandwich was simply delicious. Totally recommended.

Good experience in Camden at this cheese restaurant. We were able to enjoy delicious grilled cheese accompanied by onion pickles and honey!

Exquisite cheeses. Simple location. Clean. Tidy. Camden Market a place that MUST be visited. I recommend it, very easy to find, about 10 meters from the Amy statue.

Incredible cheese experience! We had a sampling of different starters, and two grilled cheese sandwiches, and we were in heaven with each bite! The different flavors and combinations of cheese dishes were just amazing -- exactly what you want on a cool evening after a long day of walking around Camden. Do not miss this spot!

This place really does do British independent cheese makers justice. From their delightful cheese board pairings, to their five-cheese Mac, from their beautifully made toasties, to their amazing fondues; it is a homage to all things fromage. If you are around Camden market and you love a cheese feast, you cannot go wrong popping across to The Cheese Bar. The only negative from me, is they dropped a small plate from their menu: their halloumi with hot honey and sage, which was just divine! (Though everything else makes up for it) Bring it back! ^^

Some super good classic cheese sandwiches! If you go through the market and everything is packed, you have the cart to order the sandwich and in 5 minutes you are eating a sandwich so comfortable in the middle of the market without waiting

The place is very friendly and the cheese is quality. But the proportions in relation to the price are really very fair. Between two of us, we paid just over £30 for a dish and a drink each. Knowing that the dish was really small, and the gentleman's sandwich without fries (otherwise extra).

This was one place we wanted to visit. Didn't disappoint. Fabulous food. Great staff.

Inside the 7 dials market this is very well located in London. Great cheese selection and perfect for a a snack or a quick meal before enjoying the theatres around the area. Staff is very friendly.

Lovely experience for someone who likes cheese. We chose a selection of cheese on a cheese board and a pork belly special with some chutneys and it was delicious. Great concept and really friendly staff. It is quiet expensive for what it is but as an experience it was worth it

We popped in for a quick bite as we are huge cheese fans. It was nice and quiet inside which was a lovely change from the madness just outside in Camden market. The service was fantastic and the services were lovely. Sadly there was no mozzarella sticks left. Which maybe they could have told us before we looked at the menu. But we did try the cheese puffs, and I asked for a side of marinara sauce too which was lovely. Would defo go back as the rest of the dishes looked great. We had a strawberry gelato milkshake which you could taste the freshness, really thick and delicious. Overall a nice little stop, nice bites and good place to chill before heading back to the madness of Camden Market

A walk in after having a previous great experience with my partner and wanting my dad to experience it! We went for the fondue which was absolutely lovely with the server keeping an eye on it to ensure just the right heat. Absolute mountain of food and we came out very happy at the cost based on the amount of cheese! The only small downside would be the charcuterie which could have been presented slightly better!

Nice experience, but I will not do it again

We came across this cheese bar in Camden and from the off we were intrigued, we went in and got a table for 2, we both had the 5 cheese macaroni with added bacon bits and some fries, the food is excellent l, the mac and cheese came out in like a little saucepan looking dish, it's was heavily loaded with all different types of cheeses. The fries were amazing too. It was a great atmosphere and everyone was sat round the bar in like a L kind of shape, of which Lillia provided us with great service and very attentive, thanks to Lillia and the chefs, would defo recommend great little gem.

Cheese bar was a lovely experience, the sharing platter and macaroni cheese was delicious. The person who served the food was helpful in choosing dishes and enthusiastic. P.s If you need to use the restroom, you will need to use toilets located in the centre.

Ordered a cheese plate to go and was pretty disappointed. Despite the cost of living driving up prices, the portions were very small for the price. We had to go buy more cheese somewhere else. I did express my disappointment in an open and kind manner, and the staff seemed untrained and unable to deal with this. They all walked away and obviously didn’t want to engage in addressing my concerns. I dropped it, acknowledging that it’s not the fault of staff and left feeling bad for them, being left ill equipped to deal with a complaint. You’re selling small portions of cheese at a high price, particularly high for take out. I’m assuming you feel your cheese is high quality and worth the price. The environment you’ve created is nice, and so the training of your staff should match what you are selling yourself to be.

We went in for lunch. The restaurant is small and you sit at shared tables on high stools which is really cool. Tried the grilled cheese with onions which is the best we have ever had. Also tried the Mac and cheese made with 5 cheeses. This was easy to eat and delicious. Would highly recommend. Came in at 35 gbp for food for 3 people with a drink. Would recommend booking. We arrived just as it opened and there was a queue with most people having booked.

We went for bottomless raclette which was good. Definitely worth the experience, although I'm not sure I would do it again as really there are only so many plates of raclette you can eat in a lifetime. I'm always a little uncomfortable sitting behind a bar looking onto the other customers and the staff as they worked and there weren't a huge number of people there, so the atmosphere felt slightly lacking; at times, I felt very on show as I stuffed endless cheese into my mouth. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience.

I loved it, I didn’t know cheese can taste this good, the grilled cheese sandwich was phenomenal, and the Brie was heavenly, I had a religious experience, and the staff were so friendly, I am coming again.

Fantastic place to come if you are in the Camden area. The staff were very friendly, funny and great at recommending what options are best. So much variety to choose from. The images show a “Truffle and Bri burger with chips” just amazing! Reasonable prices for the quality of food. There is a great atmosphere as you have seating found a communal bar and can see what everyone is getting. Plus the staff are right at your fingertips to help.

Huge shout out to the chefs who masterminded the most epic dinner at this establishment tonight. I thought I knew and loved cheese and then I came here, and it changed the game. Every single dish is a grand slam. Impeccable cheese on every level combined with the most lovely server, Victoria. So much attention to detail and their advice was spot on. Wine or the month and the pork belly special was also a treat. Couldn’t love or recommend this place more!

This is the second time I have been. We went with the voucher for the fondue for 2 and was an even more amazing experience the second time. GThe staff are very friendly and very helpful.and am already planning to go again. 10/10 on everything.

Great cheese bistro. Trying to open an international cheese bar. Indulege in comfort food with a selection of cheeses, grilled cheese sandwiches and plates. The brie with smoked chili is spectacular.

My partner loves cheese, so I took them to The Cheese Bar Camden for their Christmas present. Oh my lord. It did not disappoint. The staff was absolutely lovely, it felt like you were sitting down to have a chat with a friend rather than a slightly awkward enclosed area like some bar restaurants can be. Our crocheting, weird t-shirt enjoying cheese connoisseur was absolutely brilliant. Now onto the cheese. You have to try the Red Leicester. I don’t think I could ever go back to supermarket cheese ever again. The serving sizes appear small but we were so full by the end of it. It was well worth travelling from Portsmouth for it!

Food is AMAZING and the staff is even more amazing. It’s easy to love cheese but harder to love the people who bring you the cheese. This crew was beyond nice and informative, I’ve given them hugs and tips and you should do the same. -1 star because I couldn’t find the toilet but that may be because of wine so take it with a grain of salt.

Food was great but having to pay to go use the toilets in the market was disappointing. There should at least be a pass so you don't have to pay to use the bathroom if you're having a meal.

If you love cheese, this is the place to go! Every dish is centered around cheese, and you really can't go wrong. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Se bramate un grilled cheese sandwich a dovere questo è il posto perfetto per voi. Ho avuto il piacere di mangiare uno con lo Stilton ed uno con Cheddar ed un secondo formaggio che ora non ricordo. Eccellenti entrambi, ma quello con lo Stilton vale la fermata più dell’altro. Servizio cortese. Prezzi bassissimi per la qualità.

The Cheese Bar had a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful cheese dishes and wine. We enjoyed bottomless Raclette with bottomless house wine added for 12 pounds. The total for two people was 45 pounds which we felt was very great value for the quality, quantity and service. It is a great experience and I would highly recommend a visit!

Truffle cheese chips was lovely and flavourful, and the christmas special pork belly bites was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft, perfectly cooked. The blue cheese raclette was a bit underwhelming, very oily with the melted cheese, and the beef was tough and not seasoned.

Somehow didn’t quite provide the experience I’d hoped for. Cheese delicious but bring your magnifying glass and snacks along to supplement their portions. Staff were smiley but given their central position, not that convivial or patient. Sitting around a central bar/focal point either requires joyful friendly staff or some other such distractions (even maybe softer lighting ?) so that you don’t focus on the minuscule cheese ‘to share’! No on site bathroom, so a communal bathroom outside the Cheese Bar is available.

great place to try assorted local cheeses. The boards were fantastic and the service was really warm and personalized. I loved sitting at the bar. The cheese pairings are really nicely done. We also tried the blue cheese raclette and the 5 cheese macarroni, which were not as I was expecting but overall a great experience.

I so wanted to love the cheese bar! Sadly the food was pretty bland, couldn’t really taste the cheeses in the food we ordered. Perhaps the way to go is wine and cheese board instead of the hot food.
