So I recently had to post a bad review about a restaurant I really could not find any value too. This is the opposite. Really well designed place, warm and comfortable with quick service. Great prawn crackers. All was good. The food was tasty and serves asahi and Singha beer. And the prices were reasonable. Really lovely place in the heart of London.

Delicious, flavoursome food, generous portions. Accommodated 8 of us at the last minute, with one dinner requiring gluten-free options. Friendly and attentive service. Everyone enjoyed their dishes.

Great food and restaurant atmosphere. The staff was very kind and friendly, and our group had a wonderful time dining here. The only thing that I could note of was that one of the stalls in the ladies room didn't have any lights in them. Might have just been temporary, otherwise, would highly recommend!

Made a booking for 2 on a Thursday evening but called up to let them know I was running late and they said it was fine. When we turned up there was plenty of space and were seated immediately. Great service, very patient when I couldn’t make my mind up on which to choose, they willingly offered suggestions and recommended popular dishes. It got busier during the evening but despite being sat at a large table for 8 we had the table to ourselves all evening and weren’t pushed to leave after finishing. Tasty hot food, nice smoky flavour you get from a wok, a delicious creamy mango lassi, only thing I’d comment on is the pricing and the saltiness of the dishes. Would return here again and perhaps order less food, we were probably a bit ambitious with our appetites!

I went there on the last day because I wanted to eat Asian food. If the table seats two, sit side by side by the window or seat two people at the corner of the large table. I was wondering what this was, but it was surprisingly good. The food was delicious and satisfying, but I wonder if the price is right. I am feeling the murderous prices of London one last time.

I visited this restaurant with high expectations, having heard that they offer a student discount. The atmosphere was ok, and the food was enjoyable. However, my experience at checkout was disappointing. When I received the bill, I admittedly did not check it carefully and proceeded to pay. Shortly after, I remembered the student discount and politely inquired whether it could be applied. Surprisingly, the staff refused to adjust the payment, despite the fact that their POS system is capable of processing refunds and recharging the correct amount. While I understand that policies vary between establishments, it does raise the question: why advertise a student discount if there is no real intention of honoring it? Transparency and customer service are key to building trust, and unfortunately, this experience left me with the impression that the discount is more of a marketing gimmick than a genuine offer. A word of advice to future visitors—be sure to double-check your bill before paying.

A hidden gem that’s cozy. Sad it’s not on Tottenham Road.

We visited this branch first time more than 20 years ago, when the world was different and Busaba was the same. We were try different branches that time, one was on Soho, one near Piccadilly but Tottenham Court Road was the best but not any more. I and my family were there on Valentines day. It was busy day presumably but they had no stuff, for all tables only two waitress and one team leader who help them a bit. I did not notice that they are happy, no attitude, no smile compare to the all old asian team we met before in past history in this branch. Food is ok but my wife did not find Duck Curry she loves, Green Chicken Curry also became different but still tasty. Calamary just amazing, much more nicer than before. Busaba is not cheap any longer, I understand, world going down...

Disappointing food but good atmosphere and decent service. The "signature" green curry was just not very good - the sauce seemed floury and didn't have much taste. There was a choice of Singha or Asahi beer, again not very interesting, but top marks for offering large bottles of Singha as well as the standard 330ml size. The vegetarian offerings on the menu are all marked "Jay" - I haven't seen this before and had to ask the waitress what it mjeans. Probably won't be going back.

Worst service that I have ever seen! Bad attitude when u wanna individual bills!

One of the quiet Busaba dining places. I booked this restaurant for the big table size and the quietness during off peak hours. I went with my team for a small meet and eat event. They have amazing food. Uploaded pics are of 'Ebi Prawns' and 'Chilli Prawns Rice'. I've tried their chicken satay which is one of my favorite dishes. The staff are very friendly and good for NHS workers as they do NHS discounts and they are nearby.

Monday night dinner so the restaurant was 1/3 full as you would expect. There are shared tables so off peak is always best. Service was good and the food is what you would expect. This location tends also to have fewer children but it’s still better to be wary of booking Sunday at lunch time because shared tables with children is a nightmare.

Welcome if u would like to wait for 40mins after ordering the food and got a cold and hard calamari + half raw Jasmine rice. Not even at a busy time.

Just what I needed today! Authentic real Thai food, fast service, great ambiance and atmosphere. Real food.

The food was good and reasonably priced, which was a plus. However, one staff member’s attitude was shockingly poor and overshadowed the entire experience. From the moment we sat down, it was clear he had no interest in being welcoming or helpful. When taking our order, he was visibly impatient and seemed annoyed when we asked any questions about the menu. What made this even more disappointing was that the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy at that point, so it leaves NO reasonable excuse for such a lack of politeness!! Good food is important, but so is good service.

The chili beef fried rice recommended on Xiaohongshu is super salty Green curry is tasteless and not delicious Chicken wrapped in fragrant leaves is delicious Mango sticky rice is normal. The mango is not very sweet. The steamed glutinous rice is very good. Guava juice is sour and sweet, it depends on personal taste

The service here was amazing, and the food served is great. Everything comes out quickly and is tasty. There is a decent selection of vegetarian options. Bonus - they offer student discount! However, keep in mind that it was really noisy and the tables are shared, so maybe not great for dates or long dinners.

The lunch deal was absolutely a great deal. The food was good but the pork rice was a bit dry, could be better if it’s more juicy.

Went for early dinner on a Friday night. It wasn’t very busy but it had a good atmosphere and staff were very nice. Triple cooked soya was a bit overpowering and chewy. Good nibbles - prawn crackers, edamame and spring rolls. The varnish on the table was super sticky though - was a bit off-putting.

Horrible service, mediocre food for the price you pay the portion are tiny. Atmosphere very noise. I would not recommend it and I wouldn’t go back. It was empty on Friday night when everywhere in the area was super busy, so a clear message that my experience is not a one off but a standard of this restaurant.

Ive been to this place one to many times and its been absolutely perfect. the food service is amazing and the manager who served me with amazing and nice.

I’m a oversea student, today it’s my first time visiting this restaurant with my friend. The most terrible service but delicious meal! I am young and not that fluent in English, so the manager took advantage of me. 1. A 10% tip is automatically deducted at checkout by the system without any notice by staff or system. Most restaurants seem to ask you how much you wanna tip at last, but in this restaurant the tip percentage is already settled and has been done for you automatically. After the checkout, The manager told me if you don’t wanna tip, you should say earlier. But the system has already closed, so I was asked to go there tomorrow chatting with the general manager and negotiate whether can I get a refund and pay it again. 2. The first sentence I asked after I entered the restaurant is: Do you have a student discount? The manager said yes so we eat there. I have my student ID card on my neck all the time, but I didn’t get that discount at last. She is not sorry about it at all, and said I should told her earlier. But I already asked! The excuse is: there were so many customers asking her, she can’t remember, then I point out there were just four including my friend and me. Then she said there was only one staff there, she is busy. And I should check the bill before paying it. So the problem could be :me not familiar with the vibe, too many customers, her colleagues were not there, the system deduct that tip. But it couldn’t be her. Who can protect the right of customers? Considering the discount is just a favor, at this stage, I wanna ask for 2 things 1. A sincere apology from the manager for her bad attitude ruining my mood and promise you would not do that again to any other oversea students. 2. Could the restaurant improve your tip system? Or it’s just the manager lying, did she really add it by herself? I have no idea. You can keep the tip, it’s just 3 pounds anyway. I would probably go there every week because the good food, but I do not dare dine in there again before I’m totally familiar with the rules. I can delete this review once I see your sincere apology.

Establecimiento abierto y ventilado. Ten en cuenta que si eres soltero, pareja o solo unas pocas personas, puedes compartir mesa con otros. El servicio era muy bueno y conveniente. Los precios no eran demasiado altos y la comida era buena. El problema principal que encontré fue la limpieza - - la mesa era tan pegajosa que el servidor tuvo que arrancar mi vidrio de ella, ya que estaba casi cementado por algún tipo de residuo. Eso agrió mi opinión del lugar. De lo contrario, le habría dado un 3. 5 - 4 estrellas.

Not quite traditional Thai food... The waitress was incredibly nice, but it seems the restaurant is understaffed during weekday lunch hours. It was fully booked, but there were only two waitresses and one manager. Despite being extremely busy, the staff remained polite. However, the food and waiting time were a real issue. I ordered a classic pad thai and tea while dining with friends. After 5-10 minutes, the waitress returned to inform us that they had run out of tea.(Seriously, running out of tea in London?) The food itself took over 30 minutes to arrive, and it was cold. As there was an issue with my order, the waitress had to take it back and correct it. After another 10 minutes, the food was still cold. The flavour was rather bland and oily—we even had to ask for additional seasoning. Thai food is known for its strong flavours, but what we received was just a disappointing stir-fried noodle dish. Additionally, the menu advertised a "Lunch Deal: enjoy any rice bowl or pad thai for just £13.50." However, if you order the chicken pad thai, they charge you £15 instead. It turns out the offer only applies to the classic pad thai, so do check with the staff if you'd like to take advantage of the deal.

Good food quality, had starter,main and a large beer. Fast and efficient service came out at £40 per person.

Visitamos Busaba Bloomsbury hace un par de semanas, ya que estábamos en Londres para un fin de semana de chicas y alojarse cerca. Llegamos y nos sentamos en una mesa cuadrada muy grande que tenía capacidad para 8 y significaba que estábamos un poco inconexos para una fiesta de 5. Pedimos bebidas y lo que pensamos era un entrante (del menú de platos pequeños) y un principal cada uno. Cuando la comida llegó, todo se unió y cuando dijimos que queríamos entrantes primero, luego la red, nos dijeron "no lo hacemos así, toda la comida se une" - esto no se explicó cuando pedimos comida y en realidad dijo "nos gustaría pollo satay para comenzar y luego pato y fideos" La comida fue entonces casi arrojado a nosotros a través de la mesa, algo que todos notamos. El problema entonces era que había tanta comida que no podíamos comer todo, así que nos preguntaron si podíamos encajonar lo que quedaba y llevarlo con nosotros, lo que se hizo. Si hubiéramos sabido que toda la comida se había reunido, entonces quizás solo hubiéramos pedido un par de platos pequeños y compartido - había mucho sobrante cuando habíamos terminado. La comida era maravillosa, tal pena que el servicio grosero lo decepcionó. Probablemente no volveríamos por eso.

Very RUDE waitress with brown hair pony tail and wheat coloured skin shouted at us and showed an impatient face to us. We are foreigners travelling here and didn’t know the rules for restaurant, this is our bad but this waitress had no right to shout at customers who pays the service charge for their wages. She can notice us nicely instead of being very rude. This totally destroyed our mood and will never return to this restaurant. Btw, the food we ordered were really salty, nice apple juice though.

An incredibly great restaurant with something to offer for everyone. The atmosphere is very cozy and invites you to linger. The food is just great! It was a taste explosion and, above all, prepared with so much love. In addition, the prices are totally justified and a little teaser, if you are a student you can save a little by presenting your student ID.
