Popped in for a breakfast toasty. The lady serving us was extremely good at her job, smiling, engaging and very friendly. Had the sausage and egg and my wife had pulled pork. Both very tasty. Two small points: We popped in the day before but was put off eating inside as it was hot and slightly uncomfortable and all the outside seating was occupied (we came back the next day and ate outside, bingo!); given the name of the company I would have thought that the toasties would have been produced using different bread, maybe sourdough, rather than the conventional white sliced.

Over priced soggy sandwiches! Rude staff too. Avoid - there are so many better options for lunch nearby.

I've come here on lunch breaks from uni a few times and have always been impressed with the food - pulled pork, jerk chicken, bacon/avocado/tomato sandwich - yum! The queue on weekday lunchtimes is normally pretty big, service is reasonably fast but you'll strugglr to bags a seat, and it can be pretty draughty with the door opening/closing. If you do manage to get a seat, it's pretty chilled. Go for the food, not the frills!

Finding somewhere to eat that serves food you actually want to ingest can be a tricky thing to achieve in central London if you want somewhere that doesn't deliver costly and tasteless food...Loaf on Tottenham Court Road smashes both of these issues out of the ballpark with plates of delicious, warming and generously portioned food.Inspired by the best loved comfort food trucks of NYC, Loaf takes dishes like mac'n'cheese and pulled pork, adds a British twist to them and serves them up with a smile. Excellent value for it's location, the £4.95 small plates are fantastic for sharing and the vibe is cool but welcoming, quirky but approachable. If you need something to eat that won't cost the earth or take an eternity to appear in front of you, I highly recommend you avoid the giant chains that surround it, and pop into this lovely independant place to be wholly satisfied. For the full review and photos, please take a moment to visit:http://edibleangel.com/2014/12/31/biting-off-a-slice-of-something-delicious-at-loaf/

The coffee here was undrinkable, but the breakfast sandwiches we ate were wonderful. The second morning, the nice woman at the counter suggested that I add avocado and lemon pepper to my salmon sandwich and it was so tasty!

One of the best lunches in the area, though inconsistent. However, I don't think the staff have ever tried to eat the braised beef sandwich as a takeaway, otherwise they would know that this delicious bomb of goodness belongs in a box with a knife and fork. The sauce is so gooey (deliciously gooey) that it destroys the bread and this thing is impossible to eat at your desk at the office without the aid of a giant plate and silverware. Not recommended for park benches or while eating with colleagues. Pulled pork is great in any form. Love it with the jacket potato. Portions, however, are inconsistent.

Now, without giving away to my plus one how many I've actually had, they are fantastic, made to order, how you like it, and served hot , coffee is great ( Allpress) and obviously knowledgeable barristers that can deliver great coffee, every time.Cost wise you could walk a little further and get a bacon roll (far inferior and half the size) that has been sitting in a warming cupboard from pret, get a average coffee and spend about the same, which is madness.

I've been to Loaf a couple of times now as it offers a completely different vibe to other cafés. There is a selection of hot/cold foods including breakfasts, sandwiches, salads and the hot boxes which are great. The staff are lovely and I have only had one problem which was today: I ordered a chilli chicken salad, and received the wrong one: chicken salsa which contained tortilla chips and wasn't as nice. Other than that it's usually a pleasant experience.

Come here quite often to grab a nice toasted sandwich for lunch. The cooked food is often very good too, but portions are a little on the small side. They can get a little overwhelmed during the lunch hour with people standing around waiting to get their orders.

I'm here for a month in London and I eat here 2-4 times per week. The service is always extremely friendly and relatively fast. They have a good variety of toasties that I think are reasonably priced considering they are prepared fresh. My favorite is the pulled pork. They also serve what looks to be a very good breakfast. Highly recommend.

Food was okay, a bit expensive. Hot chocolate was incredibly strong, asked for it to be weakened and it came back just as strong. It wasn't a bad cafe but probably wouldn't recommend to a friend. However, staff were very friendly and food arrived quickly which was good because we were starving after a three hour train journey!

Oh wow! Very tasty sirloin steak cooked medium rare perfectly - one of the best I've had. Friendly service, and obviously has some regular customers - book in advance if possible. We paid just over £50 per head for a shared starter (duck rillette - looked home made) and two sirloin steaks plus a couple of drinks each - very reasonable for steak in central London.

I have been dining here since 2017. They offer excellent Burgers with high quality meat. I also enjoy their cheesy fties and the macaroni and cheese very much. Their grilled cheese sandwiches and fish fingers are very delicious as well. I wash these food down with variety of milkshakes both regular and infused with alcohol. I wish this business to survive the COVID-19 Disaster.

Our friend who has recently turned 50 was playing that night in the band and invited us for drinks and live music. The performance (5live acts) was superb and we had no problem to book table on the same day for a delightful dinner with one vegetarian and one chicken main course (okra was the star of the dishes and cooked superb) followed by really scrumptious desert. We paid £50 for 2 people with 2 alcoholic drinks. It was easy to find and parking on street after 7pm is not an issue.

I was recommended to visit an Eggslut next time I was in London by a friend, so on my most recent visit I did just that. Eggslut Fitzrovia was conveniently located to meet up with my friend. The store is clean and modern. Staff were very friendly, we ordered straight away and took some seats upstairs. Staff will bring your food to you. We ordered the sausage, egg and cheese and smoked salmon sandwiches with some fresh orange juice. I love a McDonald's sausage and egg mcmuffin so my choice was to undertake a comparison. The sandwich is a beast in size, very filling. It tasted very nice, first bite and the egg yoke ran everywhere (grab several napkins). Food was delivered quickly. Overall we were very full afterwards. I would have loved to try some of their sides but we had a big lunch planned and didn't want to spoil that. Price wise it's what I expected for a central London establishment so do not go expecting a cheap breakfast. It's not going to replace my Mcmuffin (as a more regular breakfast option when travelling) but I'll definitely be going again on another trip to London.
