Food was overpriced and just okay. However, it took over 30 minutes to have someone finally visit our table to allow us to pay the bill, despite our asking multiple times and there being plenty of staff just standing around. Felt intentionally ignored.

The omelette was tasty with good amount of filling. However, was too oiley perhaps chef wanted to provide moisture to prevent dryness or was cooking in haste. However, if the fillings are good, it doesn't need oil, and I'd rather be asked first. Red Peper provides sweetness, I also suggest sundried tomato paste, goats cheese paste and element of sweetness like roasted pepper etc., you're welcome. I didn't like that I was declined to sit nearer the window (despite two tables being occupied one of which a man on a laptop with no food or drink occupying a table for 6) and I was placed between kitchen and bathroom under an interrogation light. Soon after me, a young couple came in and were invited to choose where they wanted to sit... Please treat all clients as important and not have groups and couples at a higher rank. Suggest rearrange seating plan so duo and single eaters can also access the entrance side of the restaurant I think adding service charge for breakfast is unreasonable. I go to many breakfast establishments and always the English ran ones add ridiculous charge making the affordable meal unaffordable. For this reason I stick to the 3 foreign eateries who do good clean omelettes for 7-14£ no service charge, this way I go again and again, then once in a while, drop a Generous tip. The plus at this chain is the 24/7 opening times and breakfast served until late

Stopped in here on a whim and had a lovely experience. Loved the vibe and the service was great. Had the unfortunate experience of one of the wall pictures falling and hitting my daughter in the head but the server was super apologetic, constantly checking on her, and offering a discount. Perfect service recovery! The food was delicious too! The burger, club and chicken burger were all tasty and well seasoned. Would definitely recommend!

Tables for 2 aka if lone diner you get the bad tables by WC and kitchen with the noise and congregation of staff. Other than the very end table of the row of soft adjoining couch seating, where a table of two at the end makes sense so that it can be right up to the partition, it would be nice to have more single and duo dining options throughout the floor space. You are far from natural light and eating under Gestapo spot light. I wanted to be by the window at about 15pm where there were two laptop men in and a couple only, was declined. Then a young couple came in and were permitted to sit at one of many tables in the large window. Very good egg white omelette but feel chef compensated for previous comments of a dry omelette by having too much oil (which negates choice of a low fat omelette...). Doesn't need it. Simply offer a naturally sweet ingredient eg roasted red Peper, harrisa, yoghurt, etc., Also lettuce given was limp and old. Don't agree with service charge for breakfast. Just shy of 20 for an omelette. May aswell go to the Langham. I frequent 2 other restaurants because they offer the same product without service charge making it more financially sustainable. To be additional £3 if I attended here at the same frequency wouldn't be feasible.

I was working in London so eating on own and have to say the staff were amazing, very attentive and made me feel comfortable. The food was lovely, and beautifully presented. Im glad I didn’t see the google rating before I went or it would have put me off. Great little place and will definitely go back.

A little expensive for the quantity, a little disappointed. But good quality meal and it was really good. Warm waiter. Well, go there if you have the means and want to eat late at night, otherwise go to another restaurant.

VQ Bloomsbury is a lifesaver! It’s so rare to find a place that serves food 24 hours a day. If you’re ever in desperate need of something at any time, this is the spot to visit! Personally, I stopped by a few weeks ago and enjoyed a lovely breakfast paired with a beer at 4 PM 😅. I might just have to try that experience again—perhaps at 2 AM next time. Highly recommended!

The food itself can be rather pricey but the staff are all polite and helpful (they were able to nicely accommodate my friend and I wanting to split the price of some chips). Likewise amidst the Central London rush this place can often prove to be quite a nice haunt to relax and unwind at after a busy day out. They make a hell of a good chocolate brownie and ice cream desert on top of that too.

Impeccable service with the effort of the waiters to try to say sentences in French, it’s always nice. Simple, efficient cuisine, affordable prices and fast service.

Pathetic staff. Unclean toilets and forced us to pay entry fee or toilet fee even if we asked for To go coffee. I felt like no worries here take my donation of £ 5 . When my wife complained about female toilets, best excuse I got was that we are all male staff and can’t go.

They advertise being open for 24 hours every day. Havent been here at 2AM but I've definitely been here at 10AM and the food was great! My son had baked mac n'cheese. He enjoyed it. My wife had something off the entrée menu and she loved it. Can't remember what. Mightve been a steak but it disappeared fast, it was so good. I had fish and chips. The batter was fluffy and crisp yet light and golden brown. The fish was beautifully done and didnt taste of oil. The chips were crisp, fluffy, and golden brown as well. We walked in off the street and had no reservation. Ran in because we wanted a meal before the London Museum. Great choice. Would go again.

Popped in for breakfast on a Friday and went with the make-your-own omelette—mushroom and bacon. Sadly, it was as dry as Jimmy Carr's sense of humor, and every bite required a hefty gulp of coffee to get through. The potential was there, but it could have used a certain level of moisture. It wasn’t a busy time, and the menu had other curious options, so if I’m ever back in the area, I might give it another go.

Great selection on the menu along with quick service and also 20% off if you are a guest at St Giles Hotel. Bonus is that it is open 24 hours for those late night munchies.

The hour is not right - they actually close at 5.30 and reopen at 8. False advertisement. We arrived late night/early morning, they had a lot of problems with us showing up w our laptops. They refused to move us to another table for better lighting bc “this is a table for food not for work”BUT we ordered 30 gbp per person of food. Really not getting the business strategy here. You sell food made from frozen pre-made supermarket food, and you really think people are here for that?

Quite disappointed that they are NOT open 24hrs on Wednesdays as marketed on Google maps. Me and a friend wanted to meet here overnight for a catch-up and working session, then go straight to work in the morning. However, they kicked everyone out 5:30-8am and said that they needed to clean and prepare. Understandable reason, but they should not market themselves as 24hrs if this is the case. We ended up having nowhere to go. Moreover, when we first arrived, we noticed the light was very dim in our booth, and we requested to switch to another one. The waiter was very rude about it and kept questioning why we wanted to switch. They said it was because they had to clean an extra table, but after we moved the utensils ourselves, they took only 10 seconds to wipe the table clean. The wifi also didn’t work so we had to use our own hotspot.

Had a great breakfast here this morning. We ordered Eggs Benedict, Steak and Eggs, and the Pancake set which offers tea/coffee + orange/apple juice + banana/apple/orange, as well as an ala carte coffee. Every dish was good. My hubby remarked that the steak was lean and very good. The scrambled eggs were creamy and yummy. Eggs Benedict was great too. And so were the pancakes. The damage came up to £50, inclusive 12.5% service charge. Service was great. The service staff checked on us multiple times and cleared empty dishes promptly.

They have promotion on Uber Eat, so I ordered the food. The food (one pasta and one fries) took 2 hours to deliver which is super ridiculous. And I have to pay for the cancellation fee, which are 98% charge of the whole order. You shouldn’t open your takeaway service and do promotion if you can only deliver food in central London with 2 hours. THIS IS A SCAM! I NEED A REFUND!

You can find good food in London, but you’ll never see a British person in the kitchen.

Good place to eat if you are passing through

We were looking for the restaurants to serve breakfast in the afternoon and found this place. It was around 1pm, lunch time, but the restaurant was empty. All employees were chatting very loudly, and never stopped talking even after we sat. Our waitress was nice girl, and food were unexpectedly good.

Would not recommend! I’ll never go there again. The food was terrible. Mac and cheese horrible, burger bland and terrible, bbq wings was recommended but I hated it I had to swap for the piri piri wings which was decent. Although I didn’t like the Mac and cheese and didn’t eat it, I still got charged for it. They charged for a small brownie with candle to wish my best friend a happy birthday, they couldn’t even do it for free as a nice gesture despite the food bad. The woman waiter who was supposed to handle the little brownie surprise went home so it wasn’t even special. I wish I could get a refund to be honest!

Imagine yourself in London in the normalest of normal November days, with humidity of the air 245 percent and wind. You should definitely go here, taste some of the best potatoes outside Ireland and Lithuania, and enjoy their latte. Waffles are arriving. To be continued. Love this place, food is delicious and comes to the table really quickly. The portions are large and the food is always hot and fresh. The staff are really friendly, great atmosphere to catch up with friends or dine alone. Have been coming most Fridays and never a bad experience. The ribs are the best!

My wife and i came for breakfast and wow I am so glad we did! I had 1 eggs royal with avocado and 1 eggs benedict with avocado and it was by far the best I've ever eaten! They loaded both with so much salmon and bacon, the hollandaise was absolutely delicious, perfectly poached eggs and to top it off, a freshly squeezed orange juice and a chai latte. Amazing drinks, amazing food and very friendly, proffesional service. Absolutely brilliant!!

On the 23rd October I ordered burger fries with cheese and onion. My husband had fish and chips. And four pints of Mandri, the bill came to £52. There was a 12.5% service change, we were supposed to have a 20% discount for staying in the hotel. Then we realised they had added the 20% on to the bill in stead of deducting. Costing £70, not good enough, would not go back again

We had dinner here, and it was amazing. Fish and chips were delicious with the perfect beer batter breading. Service was top-notch. Super friendly and cheerful. We went back for dessert which was sooo good and still the best service. It was very refreshing to have such friendly service since we haven’t really experienced that since being in London. And they are open 24hrs even!

I wouldn’t go here primarily for the food but for the fact it is open 24 hours and the prices are very reasonable, this is the go to spot for my friends to have a drinks and dessert after our main activity. It is relatively a lot more quiet so we love to continue the night here to converse. Many places in London close before 11pm and if they are open, they are super loud or smell really strong of alcohol. Here the decor is modern, it is clean and ambience is great.

We stayed in the St. Giles Hotel this week which has direct access into the VQ restaurant, and we love the food and staff *especially the ladies and Doine who was our main server* so much, that we had all of our main meals there everyday. I highly recommend the Spagetti Bolognaise. Ask for Parmesan as it makes the pasta even tastier, and they will switch the spaghetti for penne if you ask, and the NY Cheesecake and the Salted Caramel Icecream are mouthwatering. My husband loves the Eggs Benedict and the Sticky Toffee pudding the most. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant is clean, tidy and spacious. Food is clean, tasty, decent sized portions, and well presented. All of the staff and their service are very friendly and a joy to be around. We'll see you all again end of May 2025. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would give minus 5 stars if possible. Unfriendly bouncer. I was out and about, I was finally happy to have found a restaurant/bar, then I go in and the guy stands in front of me "what do you want?", then I answer that I'm just looking around. Then he just reveals that it doesn't work that way. I left the juice shop. How is it supposed to work in a bar/restaurant? And why does a bouncer stop guests? Are you not allowed to consume here?

Actually a really good restaurant I was very surprised indeed. The food was good the staff where nice and it was very convenient for my theatre trip. The portion sizes where just right and the food came quite quickly. I'd eat here again if I was nearby as its convenient and nice.

expensive, mid food, definitely microwaved, coke was flat because they left the bottles opened, they had a SUGAR shaker on the table instead of salt...2.50 sit down charge as well but they tell you at the door. going in the early hours of the day means theres dodgy ppl in there which isnt the places fault but when someones harassing a girl when ur waiting in line it just puts u off a bit. ur better off waiting for other things to open.

My partner and I went here for a late night drink and a small snack. The cocktails were amazing, the food was equally as good but the atmosphere was lacking for a Friday night. I have no idea why it was so empty when every part of it was delightful.

We picked here due to it being convenient to the Dominion Theatre and you could reserve a table online. Good variety of dishes across the menu and a bar. We enjoyed the food which was served with a smile. Atmosphere was lacking but did the job. Open 24hour day. Have noticed on this trip to London a lot of restaurants automatically adding a discretionary service charge of 12.5%.

We’ve been twice today for breakfast and then again for our evening meal, the staff were excellent with myself and my Dad, breakfast was tasty and filled us up for the day without emptying our wallet and this evening our meal was awesome,again the staff were very friendly and looked after us both. Special shout out to the manager, Leon ( I’m rubbish with names) I think he was called, he put up with my rubbish jokes and barely smirked at my big beetroot bonce after a day in a he sunshine! The breakfast team set us up for our hot touristy day and the finished it off sublimely. Thanks guys

We were a 4 and all had the exact same dish. Pancakes with fruits, maple syrup and bacon. The fruits were very very thin slices of strawberry and banana and a few blueberries. The bacon was supposed to be crispy but it was so rubbery that we couldn't chew or swallow it. When told, staff did bring us a bowl of bacon that had not been 'crispified' yet. It was much better but not better than what I make at home. The pancakes were nice but again, not anything amazing. We all had a bottle.of water each and spent £67.50 total. The servers are great, attentive and move fast.

After several days in London, my husband and I were craving a classic English breakfast. So we randomly entered this place where we had a spectacular English breakfast and, I might add, finally got served. Mrs. Cristina was very kind and accompanied us and advised us with such kindness and professionalism.

Service was lovely, we were made to feel really welcome and comfortable. The food was just alright though, my loaded chips were a bit burnt and quite hard (should've taken a picture). I'd go again but only after other options had been exhausted.

This restaurant is attached to the St. Giles London Hotel. It touts 24 x 7 hours and breakfast all day. I popped in for a quick bite. After being seated, it took a long time before someone came by to ask for my order. I had a Tropical Daiquiri, Club Sandwich, and Sparkling Water. I had to wait a while for the water to be delivered to the table, and even longer before the drink was served. The Club sandwich was bland. I enjoyed the Daiquiri.

When I looked at the receipt, our table had a strange charge of £2.50 per person, with no explanation. I asked and apparently this is a "mandatory service charge", but on top of that we also had a discretionary service charge. Seems like a sneaky way of extorting more money from customers

Went here for breakfast with my partner and mother in law. My partner ordered eggs benedict on ham. The egg was terribly undercooked, and the white was very snotty, so we politely asked the waitress for a replacement with a cooked egg. The waitress was polite and took the dish to the chef with our feedback. But we heard the chef saying that "they should've asked for a well-done egg if they wanted that" in an angry voice! Funny enough, the second eggs benedict that they cooked for my partner, which was supposed to be well done, was still underdone, and the eggs were too runny with snotty white.

So this is not about the food although I do think it would be nice because I can smell it🤤. But I wanted to thank the young man that is working in there for letting me use the toilet I am one of the bus drivers that park outside of the VQ and I have asked before a lady and she didn't allow me and I really needed to use the toilet.. this young man didn't even hesitate he used his humanity in him and said "yh go ahead" thank you thank you thank you so much this happened on 13th of June approximately 0636am

Found this after leaving drinks at nearby Coral Room/Bloomsbury hotel. Was hungry for something late at midnight and stumbled on VQ on my walk back to hotel. Great staff, nice modern diner look, full bar & varied upscale diner/bistro menu….

coming to VQ, I ordered two bowls of pasta. One with chicken as a topping. In the chicken pasta I ordered was a chunk of pork or beef in it which was raw not only the fact that the pork/beef was raw, but also if it was pork I eat pork due to religious beliefs. Considering the fact that it was raw make this an even worse matter I would not suggest going to this place if you want a high dining experience as this place prefers quantity over quality. the quality of the food is not the best and I’ll give it a rating a 2/10. on top of that they changed the plate of pasta and had the audacity to charge me for it as if nothing happened. Adding onto this I was also charged service charge after the waiter looked at the raw meat and said ‘its chicken, no?’ When he could clearly see it was a chunk of red meat with bone in it, will not be returning.

The VQ Restaurant is smart inside, close to Tottenham Court Road station. The Dominion Theatre is nearby. The food was excellent, as was the service. Myself and two others had lunch, drinks/cocktails and deserts before seeing Sister Act at the Dominion Theatre, a 3-4 minute walk to the theatre. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely re-visit again. 10/10 for food, deserts, drinks and service 😄
