The Bountiful Cow in Camden

First visit to this pub which seems to have a reputation for serving good steaks. So, staying close by for the weekend we decided to give it a try. The place itself initially looked quite small inside but as I found out when using the toilets there’s plenty of additional seating downstairs. We just had a main meal, myself with the ribeye & my wife with the sirloin. Both were delicious & perfectly cooked to our choice. One of the nicest steaks I’ve had in a long time. Friendly & helpful staff also & we would definitely return.

Excellent meal again, steak was yo."die for" 6 of us had a pleasant long lunch. Excellent attentive service. We had the full works and plenty of red wine, pre and post meal drinks.

It has always been a very good service to local and great food from our local butcher shop.

Amazing food!! Everything came out fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was great, Alex was very attentive and friendly. Definitely the place to go if you want a great steak!

Quirky decorations, great staff and service, and, above all, superb tender meat. Slightly let down by the disappointing ordinary chips served with my wife's steak. I had the beef hash, which, despite the name is made up of large, tender chunks of steak, with potatoes in a lovely sauce. Good beers too

Everything was good however the stesks were cooked incorrectly. Medium rare was medium well but other than that really lovely!

A cozy little restaurant off the main drag. Stayed near by so ideal. Great service, took our order then left us to it. No unnecessary interruptions. Food was simply steak and chips. But cooked perfectly. I honestly can't fault it. Next time I'm in London, I'll be eating here.

Everyone at my table was super impressed with this restaurant, including myself. The starters to the mains were exquisite 👌 Well presented and flavoured together so well. The meat was super tender and flavourful. I haven't had meat like that in a long time. The service we received was very friendly and professional. I also had a sneaky peek at the kitchen and I was blown away at how tidy and squeaky clean it was. It was shinning✨️ I will definitely be telling people about this place and will definitely go there again.

There’s lots to like about this place. It’s slightly quirky and not too busy, interesting decor and a friendly atmosphere. Tucked down a back street in Holborn, it has a refreshingly simple menu with a focus on steaks. Excellent selection of draft beers and all our food was delicious. Staff are great and I’d highly recommend it for a casual dinner that won’t break the bank.

Good food, Service can be a bit slow

What a lovely family place. We were last here 2 years ago. As we walked In we were treated and greeted as locals. Such a friendly welcome and we we're remembered from the last visit. Beautiful clean location on the outskirts of the city oc London. Beer wine and whiskey are others all perfect. Ate here 2 years ago and it didn't disappoint. Here just for drinks on a short stay but will definitely be there tomorrow too. It's a must for anyone in the local area. One of our favourite places.

Booked at the last minute for date night - so glad I did. Incredible, super soft steak, big portions and good service. We swapped chips for great mash with no trouble, and the side of mushrooms was delicious too. Nice atmosphere with most tables occupied. We'll be back!

Booked ahead of time but the table we ended up getting was awful. They have a nice area downstairs but we ended up in a very awkward corner table upstairs where it was very busy and noisy. The person serving wasn’t too interested in serving, very slow and the food wasn’t the best. I wouldn’t recommend.

Best steaks in London. I've been going here for nearly 17 years. Service is second to none, and the food is always amazing. If you want a good steak, excellent wine and beer selection, look no further. The Bounty burger is also amazing!

My partner and I had an amazing wedding reception at the Bountiful Cow. The venue catered for 54 guests. Cveta and her team worked their magic to make a memorable evening. The venue was decorated brilliantly. The food came out piping hot and at the same time. No one wanted to leave. I would highly recommend this venue for their wonderful staff, amazing food and the central London location.

We all enjoyed our meals, drinks, and the service. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the wine matched well. Great spot for a great meal.

I have been here a couple of times and really enjoyed the experience from the surroundings to atmosphere and of course the food. The steaks are some of the best I have eaten worldwide. The staff and particularly owners are very engaging and tuned in to customer service. WELL DONE BC.

We really loved this restaurant/pub which sits on a quiet back street. We were welcomed as we walked in and served quickly. The ambience is rustic and comfortable. It is bigger than it appears with outdoor seating, indoor seating upstairs and lots more seating downstairs. BEST OF ALL - the food is deliciously seasoned. I ordered steak hash - the bite size pieces were so tender and tasty; the potatos and onions were equally delicious. Highly recommend this off-the-beaten path steak house. Their menu selection is diverse; there is something for everyone.

We were down stairs to eat. The atmosphere was zero. The food for the price was not worth it steak and chips with a sauce £30 and the chips were only frozen french fries. I wish I had stayed in the pub and had fish and chips and saved myself £50. We won't be going again on our next visit to London.

Haven't been at this place since pandemic lock down and was so happy to see that they not just managed to survive but nothing changed.
