Dirty Bones Soho in City of London, Westminster

Came here really late on Friday after watching Moulin Rouge at the theatre next door. Greeted and served by Michael the owner who was brilliant and a great host. The food was amazing. I had the Mac Daddy and Shorty Tots. I swear the pulled beef was so tender it just melted in my mouth. The Mac Daddy was amazing and with the perfect Mac and cheese too. The Mrs had chicken and waffles and corn ribs and loved everything. Can't wait for another trip down to London and another meal here.

To put it simply, it’s fried chicken drumstick🤣 The menu says to marinate chicken with salt koji🐓 Make chicken more delicious and juicy tastes good But the skin is a little thicker Just too much rice cake? Truffle fries 🍟The portion is quite large I felt a little tired after eating it Waffles🧇delicious Humidity is sufficient The dipping sauce is a bit special One of them tastes like Chinese medicine🌿👅 Business is good👍🏻

Overpriced food. Small quantities, don't expect a towering monster burger as they are quite small and limp, served on a side plate. The mains are served without sides, instead you have to order (and pay for) these separately. Views overlooking the overflowing bins outside. Music too loud. Luke-warm, plain and greasy food with mine seeming to have congealed sauce around it I couldn't quite identify. Serving staff nice but they got the drinks order wrong after explaining it a few times (the incorrect drink was quickly replaced but the others weren't very nice either). Ordered extra fries which we never got but they appeared on the bill until we pointed this out. Got a small, free desert (4 spoons) for one of the kids as an apology which was a nice thought but a bit too late to improve our opinion sadly. Not recommended if you like quality as a family of four ate poorly for around £85.

If I could give more than 5* for service I would. I visited by chance in July and returned with 7 friends in November even though we were no where near the Soho restaurant because of the amazing food but just extremely lovely and friendly service. And we were not disappointed!!! We will all be returning!!

Mateo was wonderful, we didn’t have a reservation but he moved some things around and made sure we had an excellent experience..11/10 would eat here again.

Genuinely one of the most welcoming places I've been so. Henry (and rest of the staff!) were incredibly attentive, food was served very quickly, and it was absolutely delicious to boot! Will absolutely be coming back, highly recommend

First time at this great little restaurant. We hadn’t eaten all day, so went for 2 staters, 2 mains and 2 sides. Plenty of food and the WAGYU-TANG burger was cooked perfectly and the Buffalo Chicken portion was large. We also had a cocktail and beer and the bill was just under £100.

3rd time we’ve visited,never disappoints.Fabulous food,staff are very friendly and interested in their guests(special mention to Michael). Atmosphere is spot on,we’ll be back.

We had booked a table for a group of 9 people at Dirty Bones when we arrived we spoke to the staff regarding our table and when we went to be seated another group of 9 was already there!!!! We spoke to the manager there and for some reason it was double-booked not a good start to our evening, 20 mins later we were given a table in the main dining area and were told if the original table came free they were more than happy to move us. After this bad start to our evening, we could fault the staff or the management team looking after us through the night, once again thank you for a great night from you staff and management Team .

Food -beef tacos- had to be sent back as one of the pair was just warm, the other stone cold, which is worrying. Replacement was piping hot. They took it off the bill and gave me a free drink. But it shouldn't have happened. The food, otherwise, was really good and I'll give them another chance next time I'm around there.

Micheal was an absolute star. Not kidding if you had a waiter and it was Micheal… You are gonna have a great night,. i know i did!!!! Thank you Micheal 😘

Food was below average and service was abysmal. The worst service we had in London by far. Went on a Sunday night and there was one server for 12 people in the restaurant. The tacos and salad were mediocre at best. Will never be back

We received a very friendly and warm welcome and received first class service. The classic double stack burger was very succulent and truely amazing! However the price of £13.50 for a small glass of Rose Proseco I felt was rather extortionate. Hence 4 stars.

I used to go to the Shoreditch one quite a bit so nice to see the menu hasn't changed too much. A few bits not available on the night but what we had was good. Would definitely go back.

very disappointed in the food I got. The "signature" chicken was dry and flavourless. The cheeseburger gyozas shouldn't even be inflicted on your worst enemy. and the man who sat and served me didn't seem to know what day it was. the cocktails were nice but on the whole I left out of pocket and unsatisfied

food was amazing, the patty in the burger actually had flavour and didn’t taste just like meat with pepper and salt. service was very good and overall just a good and affordable place

Highly recommended! The food was exceptional, especially the chicken, which was bursting with flavour. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a nice evening out. Oliwia, the lovely lady who works there, was so welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home.

Great meal here. Walked right in on a Friday afternoon which I was a but surprised by given the location. Servers were really nice and looked after us. Chicken and waffles were done perfect 👌 Reccomend the Brooklyn Buck cocktail !

Best food we've had in ages. Outrageously delicious cocktails too. We went before a west end show. It was perfect.

Really good place to go for casual dining and if you’re wanting to gorge on some chest food. Enjoyed the food and the place itself. A little hard to hear and talk conversation wise due to the nice in the restaurant but overall a good experience with tasty food. Server was slightly irritating and a bit cringe I had the MacDaddy with cheese truffle chips, followed by salted caramel doughnut sandwich. Only issue was they didn’t have the double chocolate ice cream for the doughnut sandwich. Oh, how could I forget, the roast chicken mayo was sublime!

food was really good! we left feeling full (hearts & bellies) Matteo (the waiter that served us) was very attentive, helpful and friendly. He explained the menu to us and cleared any doubts we had. Great service!

Came here with my picky eater Grandad, to his surprise he lapped down his chicken and waffles. I very much enjoyed the Mac Daddy and Truffle Fries. Highly recommend if you’re in the area or even if not.

What a find! A tiny, hidden gem in Soho. Steps away from Picadilly circus and theatre land. The food was incredible, the ambience chilled and the service swift and friendly. The bar staff made us Mezcal Margaritas even though they weren't on the menu, and they were perfect. The frickles with chilli jam were incredible and the fried chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Good American fare that seems to do its business mainly through pre-theatre and after work dinners. Food was as delicious as burgers etc can be, and service was friendly though sometimes hard to get waiters' attention.

We visited 26/9/24 lunch time the Food was ok but I ordered the Duck Tacos described as crispy. It was pulled duck or possibly pulled pork but not crispy duck very disappointed. Guy serving rushed us a little and was a bit abrupt. Quite expensive too wine was excellent

The food here was delicious. They were really careful with one of my group's allergies. The food was tasty, hot and didn't take ages to arrive. Most of all, the staff were excellent. They were chatty, friendly and efficient even when it was busy.

Very worthy place. Good food, with original and very tasty combinations. Pleasant location, very central, with outdoor and covered tables (quieter) and a mix of the two. Very kind and helpful staff.

Great little restaurant for dinner. Strange that we got served our food before our drinks came but not a big deal. The cocktails were incredible. I had mac & cheese and also corn ribs, everything was full of flavour. Although a meat heavy menu, fellow vegetarians will easily be able to eat a decent meal here as I did. I would have loved to return to try their breakfast menu, hopefully on my next visit to London.

Went here for the first time last night with my daughter and cousin and the staff were so friendly, food came out fast was hot and tasted amazing . Then we chose cocktails and they was buy one get one free so even better, can’t wait to come back

Micheal was amazing. Accommodated all out needs and an absolute gem to be around. I went for a bottomless brunch with my bestie and we had the best time. Food was great and service was amazing!!

Staff so welcoming, cosy atmosphere, every item tried on the menu is top tier. Hennessy burger, recommended by Michael definitely needs to come back for good though!

I recently dined at Dirty Bones Soho and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for any occasion. The food was outstanding—I started with the OG Vegan Burger and OG Burger and skinny fries and the drinks was also amazing which was rich and flavorful. Service was attentive there was Magda, Ken and Ferdous they are very professional, enhancing the overall experience. In short, Dirty Bones Soho is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning!

Place was cold with doors opened both sides and cold wind present inside the building. Steak was very expensive and small. It doesn’t not feed you for the dinner. No side came with it, plate was empty. I asked the wait staff to have more bread and they could not understand my question as they didn’t have bread. They brought 2 “flat piadinas” instead for a charge of an additional pound. To avoid. I had to eat again after leaving the place.

Expensive for portion size. Paid £20 for what seemed like a small McDonald’s 😁. However burger was tasty. Good vibe in venue though and speed and staff were good.

The service is consistent whenever I go and I’m never disappointed. From the manager to the floor staff everyone is friendly and they check if your food and service are good, especially Harry he’s such a treat and radiates positive energy. Highly recommended!!

I went with my partner and another friend last night. First of all we were 10 minutes late and one extra person join the booking. They’ve accomodate us without saying a single word. Food is great, tasty and the meat so juicy. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Management just great…. Know how… I will recommend this place to everyone.

Dirty bones has amazing burgers and tacos. Very large restaurant just off Carnaby street and we were served very quickly! I had the so fly burger and my friend got the crispy chicken tacos, both were great.

Visited Dirty bones on Saturday and I cannot complain about one thing. All the staff were accommodating especially Magda, they made my friends birthday extra special. We’ll be back

I had mentioned it was my boyfriend’s birthday when I booked. We got a free glass of Prosecco each when we arrived, as well as a lovely doughnut dessert between us on the house. Servers were very friendly and attentive. A lovely touch to his birthday before we saw a show. Delicious food too. Thanks a lot!

Have just have a lovely meal , I cannot fault this meal and the service I received, hosin duck taco and crispy chicken with garlic flavoured chips what a meal thanks.

Not long after getting our food and drinks, I suffered a medical emergency ( from a recent medical condition). The staff could not be any more efficient and concerned. I recovered and denied an ambulance but they would not take payment for the food and drinks that we had already consumed. Nice touch by focusing on my condition and not worry about the bill!

We went here because the menu looked amazing... arrived and seated fine, offered water - great, but then sat for 20 minutes while one of the waiters walked around with a face like thunder, and the other (possibly the manager) sat in the corner and ate. After 20 minutes, another group came in, were seated and treated like family... so, we up and left at this point. I'm old enough to know when I'm not wanted. London is full of places to eat, with staff that actually care... don't bother with this hole, and give your money to someone that at least pretends your not an inconvenience to them.

The only thing better than the ribs was the service. The food was fresh, full of flavour and well priced. The service was friendly, funny and made sure we felt welcome. We'll be coming back soon.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered the Skinny Fries with a garlic and onion salt and a side of Mac & Cheese. The fries were very hot, crispy and quite good. The Mac & Cheese is creamy and very tasty. Overall, good lunch.

Arrived at the restaurant to be seated by who we think was the managers. He gets us water and goes back to what he was doing. The only waiter then brings our water and goes off. We then sit for 20 minutes without even being asked about drinks. A family of six come in and the manager sits them and speaks with them. At this point we decided to leave. 20 minutes being ignored is not good service.

The food and flavours were top notch and excellent! Fabulous combination of burgers and toppings. Very lovely service. Accommodated our child's needs. Even treated me to a complimentary treat, as the children made them aware it was my birthday :) Highly recommend!

My son and I discovered this place by chance and we were very satisfied, it is a pub/restaurant in Soho; the location is very nice, the maitre Ken is very kind, the chef is very good, the food is typically English, the portions are generous and the prices are definitely accessible. we recommend it 👍
