Tourist trap.... I think most of the reviews are prob fake, the service was good 👍, area was good except upstairs was 70% busy with space and they sat us downstairs ,like Billy no mates ,as we were the only ones sat there (i guess its a way to make it look busier than they are ) the rest ....don't waste your money , had platter for 2/3 ppl , lots of dry average ,slightly paraffin flavoured food ,they clearly don't have a smoker on site(i recon cryo packed and driven in ),if the do then their pit boss needs his p45....still had an amazing day with friends ,but would swerve bodeans at all costs ,total waste of money £290 ,2 drinks each and food for 4 ,happy to pay for good food but left feeling like I've had my tourist pants pulled down 4/10

Great smoked foods, always. We had their platter which is loads and really satisfies.

The food is a revelation, and you can sample beers from all over the world! A clear 11 out of 10👍🏻

Update on review: Their menu has changed since I last came here and it’s just not hitting the same as it used to. The menu difference has changed my option on Bodeans. I really used to love this place. Today the chicken wings were very crispy, I love crisp. But I would rather not pay this sort of money for such a crispy meat. The sausages were the saving grace for the meal and the probably the baby ribs too. Their sauce is nice but who told them to add bread to our plate? The chips were so crispy Lool. I see what they are trying, but what was broken for you to now fix the menu? Their drinks are good! But I’m just not happy with the changes. I can’t praise this place like I used to. All year I’ve been talking about Bodeans. All year, to get here to this. Please bring back the old menu or explain why this menu had to change. Atmosphere is still the same and the service is still great. ———————————————— This is my favourite BBQ restaurant. It’s local and has wonderful vibes and food! Never disappoints Food - reasonably priced and consistently good. You will be stuffed ahaha Service - everyone is always really friendly. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant and I have attended different locations for the past 6 years! Atmosphere- you know! It’s like an American bar, type of vibe. Everyone is in their space enjoying their time. TV’s around to watch sports if interested. It really promotes a no phone type of environment, you can watch tv and eat instead

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food!

Love love BBQ food and bodeans doesn't disappoint! Food was really good. Alcoholic drinks were very weak with the whole glass full of ice! It was a warm day when I visited but the air con is just too cold! I had to rush eat my food unfortunately 😒

tried the set for 3 (60£) and it was a suitable portion! not a huge bbq person but my partner said it was really good. loved the fries and spicy mayo actually, overall great spot for a drink and bbq!

One of the worst burgers we have ever had. The burger was so dry it looked like it had been dehydrated. The roll was dry. You get absolutely nothing in the basic burger, no sauce or salad or anything which made it even harder to eat. The chips weren't much better, dry and stale. In fact it was inedible, but at least they had the decency to take it off the bill. For somewhere that "does" burgers it was an extreme disappointment. The burnt ends were ok but not as nice as they sounded so again a disappointment. The decor is nice but just adds to the expectation that you are going to have a good meal.

Two different reviews... First visit 4 May I waited 40 mins without acknowledgement from female who saw me to a window seat. Upstairs wasn't busy and I was in full view of the bar. William then approached and was met with my honest answer of "I was about to leave". I was checking reviews which highlighted this issue and considering where else to go. Am glad I stayed as the food was delicious and I returned a second time 5 May and thanks to Lake the experience was night and day. Proactively chasing up my order, capturing a late change but also hospitable, chatty and attentive. I would write two polar opposite reviews! I'd return again but it would depend on who is working.

For nearly a decade we as a family have been dinning at Bodean's. Today we discovered that Bodean's have succumbed to the trend of shrinkflating their menu. Unfortunately the menu has changed for the worst and there is a lack of variety and the focus seems to be cheeping out by serving second rate chicken. We all ordered smoked & grilled chicken from the mains menu, it was tedious work teasing what little chicken there was on the bone. The salt and vinegar fries were fried to oblivion and the portion was very small. There was a weird slice of soggy bread under the chicken which I am told was supposed to be Texas toast, it was unpalatable and we all declined to eat it. The pickles served with the chicken were laced with cloves which gave off a perfume scent mismatched with the whole smokehouse BBQ theme. To me it's obvious they are trying to cut costs by slashing the menu and have completely lost their own identity as a smokehouse BBQ restaurant. If I wanted a burger I'd go to a burger restaurant, we dinned at at Bodean's for their own individuality, not because they are trying to emulate an American style Kansas beef hillbilly Wizard of Oz barbecue.

I've been going to Tower Hill Bodeans for about 13 years now. It's one of my favourite places to eat if what I want is meat. And I live outside of London, so it's quiet a journey to get there. The atmosphere tends towards being moderate to loud. So if you want a quiet dining experience this probably isn't the place for you. That said I prefer quiet, but I still come here for the food. A couple of years back they stopped doing one of my favourite dishes - the Jacobs Ladder Beef Rib. Getting a good beef rib in the UK can be hard. So having that disappear was truly sad times. HOWEVER! IT HAS RETURNED! And I think it's even larger than it used to be. And it was absolutely delicious. On the other hand, the burnt ends used to be amazing. But this last time we went, now they're relegated to being a side rather than a meal of their own? And with no sauce? They were a bit sad honestly? Not as good as they used to be. Sincerely hoping even if they remain a side that they recover some of their former glory. It would have been a solid 5 star overall rating if not for this. I'm over stating it a little I think. They were still nice meaty cubes. But yea... Not quite as special as previously. I also had the poutine. It was very nice. But with everything else I had... It was a bit too much food. I ate it all of course... But my stomach has not been happy with the abuse I put it through today. Would I do it again? Possibly. But next time I'll probably drop one of those dishes to make it a bit more of a relaxed affair. Note however, that this is a 12.5% service charge auto added place. I've heard... Rumours... About this. Let's just say if you want to give them something you know is going to them, make it cash.

As always Wetherspoons always delivers, we had 2 meals a few points and spent about £30, top value really!

Unfortunately not a great smokehouse at all. The beef rib was overcooked and dry. The other meats were no better and the side were small & overpriced. This is definitely not a cook low and slow to get moist flavoursome meats type venue, such a shame

Feels like the once great institution of Bodeans is in decline. Menu and food not what I'd remembered, and not very busy for a Thursday evening when we visited. Didn't stop our staff member from making us feel like we'd inconvenienced her by being there.

I used to love this place, and visit most times I'm in town, they've just changed the menu and it's much worse. There's waaay less choice, sides are now extra (i.e. cost of your meal will be up significantly) all the known beers have been replaced by yuppy beers in silly pots that taste bad. The staff are excellent and do a great job dealing with the multiple complaints about the reduced menu. Bad management move, I won't be back. Shame because this place was great, it used to be busy with a great vibe, today it's really quiet... Go figure

I’ve been frequenting this establishment for many years. Whenever I was working in the Tower Hill area, I’d stop by for dinner or bring clients here for lunch. It was always a reliable favorite, never a disappointment. Unfortunately, my most recent visit—this time with my family—left me deeply disappointed. We were shown to our table and handed a photocopied menu, just a single-sided sheet of paper! The once-varied and exciting selection had been reduced to, I kid you not, about ten items. Fan favorites like the burnt ends of brisket? Now only available as “add-ons” that must be paired with a base dish. Want just the add-on by itself? Too bad! No exceptions. It’s not just the food options that have been scaled back. Sauces, once a highlight, have been reduced to a single generic “BBQ Sauce” that lacked the depth or flavor of the originals. Worst of all, the food quality has plummeted. Everything was incredibly salty, so much so that my kids couldn’t even finish their meals. I’m not sure if this place is under new management, but if so, they seem intent on running it into the ground. It’s a real shame. After years of great experiences, I won’t be returning.

In early April we called into Bodean’s for tea after a long day touring The Tower of London. We hadn’t reserved a table but they were able to fit us in, in their basement seating area. Wow, what a cool area to sit in – we definitely preferred it to the street level seating. Our waiter got us sorted out with drinks and took our order `very efficiently – and politely! When our food arrived we were rather pleased to say the least! Great prawns, magnificent ribs and even the kids burgers were cracking! We are looking forward to returning another time :-) By the way, I am surprised that it only scores 4.0 on Tripadvisor – it is definitely better than that!

Bodeans what have you done? Used to be one of our favourite go to restaurants but you'll killed it for us with the updated and condensed menu. You have taken off many of our favourites like the boss hotdog and combos. You no longer get free sides with the meals either. Prices bumped and offers gone. Real shame but we left before ordering and don't plan on returning unless the menu improves.

Came in late for dinner. Pulled pork and burger were good. My husband loved his rump steak. Would recommend.

We flew in to visit the UK for the first time this morning. The server never showed up after we got our food. Waited for over 30 mins just for the ice cream. I have explained it to the server and asked for a couple times. The server throws tantrums. This is ridiculous. If this is the standard service in the UK. I feel really sorry and I’ll never return to this restaurant.

Nice restaurant, bigger than it looks from the outside with plenty of seating downstairs. Not the biggest menu (not necessarily a bad thing) but nicely cooked and in reasonable time. Prices not bad considering where it is.

Perfect place for meat lovers. I love the idea that the menu is shortened and the sharing platter focuses more on beef and pork (rather than adding chicken like before). The food came a little bit slow even though we were one of the few tables there. But the staff were very welcoming and helpful

Exceptional staffs that reminded me of how central London hospitality used to be like, prior to pandemic 2020. The food is par above other American BBQ places I've been. It was our second time visiting this branch on 2nd of April, 2025 and we left the place wanting to come back for more!

Amazing Baby Back Ribs Exceptional Mac and cheese Coming from someone who’s been to and tried Kansas City and Texas bbq

Love, love, love, love, love this place, amazing staff, food and atmosphere, I'd give this place 10 ☆ if I could. Visited this place recently and was shocked to find they have completely changed the menu and what was once a 10☆ has plummeted to a 1☆ the food was dry, the menu was seriously limited and worked the meal that I normally have came out very expensive as I had to buy burnt ends as a side dish, pay seperate for fries that closely replicated burger King chips and the coleslaw wasn't even on the menu, this then doubled the price of the meal. I heard the manager boasting that he was the one to change the menu after several people moaned to the waitress, mate I wouldn't be proud of what you've done to that menu, it's awful and you've lost a regular customer. Reply to Bodeans owner: ill decline thank you and really? The only thing I heard from the two other tables taken up were people questioning the waitress why the menu had changed? And is that the full menu? To the point where the waitress not only looked embarrassed but actually approached the manager (you I would assume by the attitude) who then aggressively shouted 'yes it was me who changed the menu" you seem to not only feel comfortable shouting indirectly at loyal customers in the shop but also have no problem with writing extremely rude replies on reviews when someone isn't feeding your ego. (my partner wrote one same day where you was extremely rude and sarcastic in your reply. In that review you appologised for not being consistent enough for my liking, even though you had my favourites on the menu that I apparently overlooked and then sarcasticly apologisedfor not being consistent. Looollll, and you're right I do like consistency, so when I have to pay £30 which was double the amount for the same crap I had the week before for £15, yeah I will moan that you changed the menu, youre a rip off company and your replies echo a severely fragmented ego it quite honestly comes across as narcicistic, so no I won't be coming back, I'd rather give my money to Burger King than your company tbh. This was the worst meal and service (lack of service) that I have ever experienced . The food was like warm and oily. Update March 27/3/25 I received a sincere apology and a warm invitation to return from the manager after my complaint, and I must say, everything was fantastic! Great service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Our waiter, Deep, went above and beyond to make our visit extra special. This experience shows that Bodean truly values customer feedback and takes the right steps to make things right. Thanks to the team for a great experience!

Used to be a great place and have visited numerous times over the past 10 years. Recent visit was awful. New, short, menu with none of the options this place used to do really well. Sharing platter for 3-4 was more appropriate for 1 and consisted of a big beef bone with no meat on it, some wet toast, half a sausage, a few other morsels and a pile of wet pickles - £90. 12 wings - £30. Sad as this used to be one of our favourites but has all the signs of not being in business in 12 months. Further insult to injury is that it looks like the responses to these reviews are done by AI which, for some reason, has been programmed to respond like a twat.

This place used to be a regular for my friends and me - we loved it for what was excellent BBQ food and plenty of it. We went back after at least a month or so away and were pretty shocked to find a reduced menu and inflated prices. This might be due to financial difficulties, but there definitely seems to have been a pivot towards smaller portions and increased focus on upselling customers to make up for it by buying extras. Take the BBQ platter for example - this used to comfortably feed four of us and included fries as part of it. The fries have now been removed from the platter, replaced with soggy toast, and the whole thing has probably halved in quantity - and sadly quality too. The platter didn't go far between all four of us, and what was there was particularly fatty and gristly. We did complain about the above, and were provided with more food and money off the bill, which is appreciated, but it still doesn't take away what feels like a sad decline for a once great restaurant.

So, let me start this off with, I don’t leave reviews, usually the places I eat are perfectly fine. Now, when I came here with my wife expecting a nice bbq meal and a couple of drinks, I didn’t think I’d be leaving 30 minutes later because our waiter spent the entire time ignoring us and another table whilst standing right next to us, chatting with another table about holiday locations. The table next to us, that also left, joked saying they’ve been there for 30 minutes and not been served yet walked out, I assumed this was an overreaction, but 15 minutes after that, and after trying to get the waiters attention we also had to walk out. We walked 1 minutes down the road to a Watherspoons that served us immediately for much cheaper. I had to ask for the servers name from the bartender, because his negligence was shocking. So Raul, thanks for ignoring us and who knows how many other tables to talk about holiday spots instead of doing your job. I’m sure we’ll try this place again or maybe one of their other locations, but I would advise skipping Tower Hill.

I recently dined at Bodean's Tower Hill and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! All the staff (esp Vicktor) were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Their service was prompt and professional, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish prepared to perfection. The flavours were well-balanced, and the presentation was impressive. Whether you're a fan of classic BBQ dishes or looking for something more adventurous, their menu has something for everyone. One of the highlights of the evening was their impressive selection of bourbon whiskey. The variety was extensive, featuring both well-known brands and unique, hard-to-find bottles. The staff were knowledgeable and offered great recommendations, enhancing our overall experience. Overall, Bodean's Tower Hill is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy great food, excellent service, and a fantastic bourbon whiskey selection. I can't wait to return!

New menu is terrible, they've taken off over half the menu and all of the things we used to enjoy. They had no mayonnaise which we thought was so rubbish and the Cocktails are pretty much all bourbon based (and the one we tried was a pineapple iced tea cocktail and tasted just like black tea couldnt taste any alcohol or pineapple was awful) they used to have an amazing drinks menu. Desserts were all sundaes no other options. They have taken a restaurant that was a decent 8 out of ten that we would go to often to a 3 out of ten and we will never return. Awful.

I got the full rack of ribs and they are “ok”. They are not seasoned well and are not that special. They could really use a rub or some sauce.

So disappointed with my visit today. Bodeans used to be my favourite restaurant, so to arrive to the new menu today was such a shame. The menu used to have lots of combo options, and is now just only a couple of options, but perhaps most importantly how can you get rid of the Diablo wings. Such a travesty, Diablo sauce was unreal and now just been replaced by a bland, weak “bone sucking sauce”. Gutted in all honesty , and sad to say it’s extremely unlikely I’ll be back. Service was great and only positive of the day- lady with the green / blue hair was very friendly and offered top service.

Was a regular here but they changed the menu and quite honestly what a disappointment. Menu is now very limited and wasn’t worth the hour it took to travel here. Will not be coming back again unless they put the original menu back in and the table next to me felt the same, shame because they had an amazing menu before, I feel a lot of people will feel the same, you had something good and ruined it by changing it. Would recommend a dish but they’ve all gone.

Visited here before going to a ceremony at the Tower of London, we were the first in and as a party of 6 we were seated downstairs. We ordered, and the food took some time. we had to chase it up to arrive, but when it did, the portions were good size, well cooked, and very tasty. The meal was enjoyed by all. Would I go again, yes, definitely as I felt it was good value for the money, especially due to its location.

The pulled pork was delicious, the milkshake was also very delicious. The best thing was the service, the bartender was super friendly! I completely recommend this place.

Visited during less busy hours so was relatively quiet and a nice atmosphere for conversation without having to shout at each other over the table, brisket was a little dry but everything else was perfect, the lad serving our table was there when we needed him and wasn't when we didnt, percent service.

If you want to taste BBQ this place has a great selection. It’s family friendly with options like Mac n cheese from the kids menu that comes with ice cream.

Seating a bit tight. The food is very tasty. Friendly staff. If everything upstairs is occupied, the restaurant offers additional seating downstairs. Rustically interesting furnishings. Really a highlight. Close to Tower Bridge - great location.

Lovely food. Had the burnt ends (regular size) and they were superbly cooked, the meat was soft, chips lovely, and slaw was perfect. Topped it off with a home made brownie desert, very nice! With the added pint of Boss Hog, took it a little over £30, but worth it. 👍🏻

I visited over this weekend and i cant believe the diabolical behaviour from the manager, how he treats his staff is borderline disgusting

!! Visited again as it was suggested by a friend that worked here, I was disgusted after hearing about the middle aged man who is supposed to be a manager said some abusive words to a member of staff. What kind of place is it?

Been here for the first time since a while ago and served by a nice waitress name coco.food are reasonable price and worth to visit for second time.

Best BBQ joint in London by far.

This is our second time here, the first visit was back in 2023 & was fantastic which is why I booked again. We were so disappointed. The young lady that served us was awful. She looked and acted like she didn’t want to be there. Not at all friendly. I ordered the Carolina loaded fries, a portion of onion rings and a portion of coleslaw as my main. The onion rings were fine but the Carolina fries were overcooked and very dry and the coleslaw didn’t arrive. When my husband asked our waitress she said oh yes and walked off to get it but I then watched her serve 2 other parties before finally bringing my coleslaw by which time my loaded fries had gone cold. My husband got the pit boss combo. He said it was ok but the chicken wasn’t smoked so he was disappointed. None of the food was piping hot so by the time we were half way through eating it had all gone cold. We were visiting London for the day from Greater Manchester so as you can expect we were very disappointed with our experience. I wouldn’t recommend.

I make a point of trying to get to Bodean's every time I'm staying in London. The burnt ends and ribs is a personal favourite, and the selection of IPAs is pretty good too.

This used to be one of our favourite restaurants. We used to come here regularly. We noticed last couple of times we have been here service has deteriorated . They have replaced waiters to take orders and different people to serve food. Service staff are really bad! They just come in and dump the food on the table!! No smile or indication of what you have ordered! They just leave the food on the table.What has happened to the hospitality staff in this restaurant! We are really disappointed with the service. Please go back to what you were before. I don’t think I want to come here again!!

The food was absolutely disgusting, chicken was cold and dry and the ribs was dry no sauce such a disappointment!! Worse than pub grub.

We were here for Saturday night dinner. The food was amazing , very generous portions. The place is noisy downstairs so if you prefer a quieter dinner ask to be seated upstairs. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good value for money. We had the St Louis Ribs and shared it between the two of us.

Not overly impressed with the food. The mac and cheese is so dead no flavour hardly any cheese. The ribs wasn't sure about the flavour just taste salty, I enjoy the supermarket ribs better. And the smoked sausage was just dripping with fat. Can't say I will be ordering again. Just disappointed I wasted £47 on a meal I'm not going to eat.

With no booking just walked in for lunch and was given a table straight away even though it was busy, the staff were ok However the food was great, had BBQ & spicy buffalo wings to start and a combo platter with pulled pork, chicken thighs and a hot link with seasoned fries.

The food was nice and came out quickly which was great as my group and I were under a strict time restrictions. The table they gave us was lovely and private too which was nice as we were celebrating a birthday. Our waiter Victor was amazing, so kind and patient. He gave us a lot of insight in discussing the menu options to make sure we got the best out of our experience. On top of the lovely food, the service from him was truly the star of the show making it a night to remember!

Restaurant with a British feel offering a menu of local dishes based on locally smoked beef and pork. Sports atmosphere due to the presence of numerous screens both in the bar and in the room. Good welcome, fast service and sharing.

I used to visit this place every time I visit London… until I was discriminated against. Never coming back!

This place is an absolute gem. Great staff, brilliant atmosphere and most importantly incredible food. We had ribs and dogs and all were fantastic. The chilli cheese dog is probably the best hotdog I've ever had, every part of it was on point, the seasoning on the chips was something special too. Deserts were great even if the options were not extensive. Not only was all of this great the price was less than I expected. Very impressed and will be going back next time I'm in the area.

Being from Kansas City and someone that has spent time smoking meat, I was intrigued by Bodean’s when in London. It is a good meal. If you’re from KC or one of the other bbq areas in the US, and feeling homesick, Bodean’s is just the ticket.

I have been to Bodeans a few times over the years when I’m in London and have always had a great meal. When I knew I was going to be in London again, I booked. I arrived about 45 minutes early as my plans had changed, and they said it was no problem and I should make my way downstairs. I was greeted by a forced smile waitress who showed me to my table and then I heard her on the phone, saying to her annoyance that no one else should be allowed downstairs - there were 2 tables out of 20 being used and I wondered if she was aware how a business worked? I had been looking forward to this and I ordered a full baby back pork ribs with prawns to start. The prawns arrived within 3 minutes and I felt 4 was a small portion for the £8. Then super fast again the main event arrived, a full baby back ribs with fries, coleslaw and a side of onion rings - I hadn’t eaten since breakfast so I could enjoy this. Gutted, the ribs were dry, the meat did not fall off the bone, the fries were dry and the coleslaw was soaking which made a hole in the grease proof paper everything was on. I doused the pork in barbecue sauce but it didn’t help it much. I ate it all as it was still editable and I was hungry but also, if I send it back, what are they going to do, slow cook another rack?!? They had a 20% off the bill promotion for January which was welcome and I left without complaint but with disappointment. I will try Bodeans again but this experience was really disappointing. It was something I was really looking forward to and I felt like I was served the ribs left over from lunch.

I don’t know how this place has 4.3 stars esp in the location they are. At best mediocre food which was dry and had no taste at all.

Food was incredible, especially the veggie burger. They didn't have room at first, but Deep managed to fit us in. Really made our night!

Just had lunch here and it was excellent and surprisingly good value, my partner had the burnt ends which were delicious and I had a chicken burger, there was lots of very tasty chicken and the seasoned fries topped it all off beautifully. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

I have been a big fan of Bodean’s over the years - it’s always been a reliable choice whatever the event. However, I’ve noticed more recently that the chain has been going into decline and today’s experience highlighted that heavily. The portions are much smaller than they used to be (I was still hungry after my visit, which hasn’t previously been the case) and the prices have shot up. I didn’t think the meat tasted all that great either, it was only ok. The service was mediocre at best - no warmth from anyone and it had zero atmosphere in the restaurant. Overall a hugely disappointing evening and I won’t be going back to Bodean’s again. A real shame.

With a reputation for loaded portions and great atmosphere, Bodean's was quite disappointing. Zero atmosphere. Starts badly with greeter not rushing to look up from their phone and looking at as like an inconvenience. Waiting and serving staff all pleasant enough but there is no energy, vibe or fun about them. Walls covered in TV screens showing football kills conversations and seems to be the main attraction. Having asked for a special table for our son's 21st - no effort made whatsoever. Food very nice but portions very small. Larger dishes necessary if you want to leave full. Everything just a bit below the hype. Disappointed

Bodeans has always been one of our favourite places to eat when we’re in the area in the fact that we purposefully drink nearby so we can finish our evening there because we crave it when we’ve not had it for a while. I’m not sure if we caught you in a bad day or whether the restaurant has just gone downhill but we were so disappointed with our experience. There was no ambience, the lady that took our drinks order looked like she wished she was anywhere else but there and when she served our drinks just put them all on the table in front of me and walked off, no smile, no telling us what was what. Our food order was taken by a lovely guy, he also re-did two of our drinks that didn’t taste right and he was the best part of our experience (we assume he is the manager as he was wearing different attire from the rest of the staff). 3 of us had the original combo, 1 had the brisket dinner and 1 had the chicken combo. Personally I enjoyed my pulled pork and burnt ends as I always put on extra bbq sauce but my husband and niece felt that theirs was very dry and one couldn’t eat them, which we advised when we were asked how our meal was. Had this been our first ever visit we wouldn’t return and some of our party said they wouldn’t, but as I’ve had so many good experiences here in the past I will put it down to a bad day and try again.

Waited over an hour for mains and the the food came out cold. The chips were also overcooked or reheated so I left them. The service at the start was good but then lacked as the meal went on. Disappointing

We had dinner at this BBQ place, good meat. We got the plate for 2 for £50 and it was fair in quantity.

Located directly opposite the Tower on three floors. Good selection of draft beer and delicious food. Prices for the location are not excessive. Service very friendly.

They cancelled my booking without calling me a few hours before we were planning to visit. I just got a deposit refunded email that I almost missed and nothing explaining if the booking had actually been cancelled.

We had absolutely the best dining experience here on Tuesday evening. When we walked in the staff showed us some of their brilliant American whiskeys/bourbons and we had a good chat with them. All the staff were so friendly and helpful! The food was phenomenal, we both got the beef ribs but the menu is great and varied. The food was a 10/10 easily, the meat fell of the bone and as someone enthusiastic about BBQ, I've never tasted food as good as this. For central London we were very happy with the prices too! Can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be coming back next time we visit London.

Food was well priced, we got the sharing board for two. Portion sizes were decent. The burnt ends were great as were the links, the rest was a little bland and flavourless. Unseasoned fries as the sides to the platter was a bit dull given the array of options at a typical bbq that are part of the standard order (candy yams/ street corn/ greens etc. Having been multiple times to Texas it didn’t really compare in terms of flavour and quality yet I don’t pay much more for it when in Texas (if any more). The ribs were alright but again barely any meat when compared to the real experience and again lacking flavour. Probably had I not had the real thing before I might’ve been more impressed but it did feel like they’re selling the gimmick and not actually wanting to make a good go of great food. Staff were helpful but not necessarily welcoming and I don’t think the experience warranted a mandatory service charge. The relentless and fairly loud Christmas music was bordering on psychological torture by the end of the meal and would recommend catering for people with sensory needs by not forcing everyone to endure that just because of the time of year. It was fun to have the sports on, would’ve been better to have the volume up on that. Good for novelty but it didn’t live up to a proper bbq experience. It would be really cool to see somewhere with the proper bbq experience where the food is treated like an art form, remove the at seat service, grab a tray and order what you want with the same menu groupings as traditional bbq ie. “Trio of meats with two sides” and you choose your own meats and side for the set price.

We have been here a lot over the years and it's always great. Gorgeous food! Recommend booking ahead if you can.

Food was okay if a little expensive for what it is. Those of us who had burgers where disappointed at poor quality burger meat. Service was unfortunately really quite poor. The even got the bill wrong and we had to ask for corrections.

End up getting lunch here and I must say the food was super delicious and service was 10/10 from Deep.

I had the pleasure recently of eating in Bodeans. Upon entering my server, Charsy led me to my table. From here she carefully recommended dishes, and spoke at length about what may be best for me. This made the experience a lot more comfortable and worthwhile. For the price, staff and taste. I’d definitely recommend Bodeans.

Had some amazing Whisky Sours at Bodean's. Vim served me and did a great job—friendly and quick. Great drinks, great service. Will be back!

Been here a couple of times over the years. Regularly recommend it to people. I was not impressed on my last visit (Thurs 5 Dec 24). Needs a refresh/good clean. Beer selection weak. Boss hog lager awful. Food was just ok. One of the bartenders was not that interested (until it came time to ask for a tip!). The other one was quite good though. I’ll stop recommending and look for somewhere else next time.
