Great service, staff was very welcoming and friendly but the food was dead! In all honesty it was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I had the chicken and avo tacos and the chicken quesadillas. Very bland, no spice, no flavour. There are better Mexican restaurants out there at a more competitive price like Wahaca

We went hoping to enjoy authentic Mexican food, including micheladas, but I was really disappointed. The micheladas didn’t taste anything like they should, and the vegetarian dish was very poor. The rice tasted old and overall, the food lacked flavor. On top of that, it felt very expensive for what we got.

Great food and excellent first class service from Logan. She was Smiley and very polite. Please ensure she gets a commendation from management.

Popped in for a spot of lunch with a friend since it's been a while. Found the menu limiting between wanting just fish tacos or a choice of quesadilla instead of a meal. My friend ordered Chiminanga and I had the tacos Al pastor. My dish was too difficult to manage and the pork was dry and it was too thick for tacos.

Visitando Londres para un teatro decidimos volver a visitar Café Pacifico, un favorito de nuestra hija y la nuestra durante varios años. Las margaritas son tan buenas como recordaba, el guacamole era sobresaliente y realzado por jalapeños y un chorrito de jugo de lima fresco. Elegí la lubina y el langostino como plato principal: absolutamente sensacional como lo fueron los filetes de lubina. La guinda del pastel fue el excelente servicio de Rahina, que era servicial y amable. No debemos dejarlo para la próxima visita.

Ayer entré por un cumpleaños y la comida era 10/10 y el servicio 10/10 también conocí a alguien llamado Salva y un hombre verdaderamente mexicano dio su opinión sobre los mejores cócteles que no puedo tomar tequila, pero lo que me dio fue realmente increíble. Gracias Salva. Viva Mexico

Realmente disfruté de una comida del sábado por la noche aquí. El lugar estaba saltando cuando llegamos a las 9 pm y el ambiente era genial. Vibración es buena. El servicio fue genial en todo. Fuimos aquí ya que tienen un menú sin gluten. Tenía un entrante nacho compartido y se presentó un pero diferente y fue extremadamente bueno. Tuve una quesadilla y algunos tacos para la red que son bastante limitados y tengo que decir un poco ponzoñoso para la comida mexicana £ 20 por tres tacos no es su precio típico de tacos, pero es un restaurante encantador.

Had the most amazing time at cafe Pacifico, the food was brilliant, and the service was great, very attentive. Fair price for good quality food, and cocktails were also a highlight. Would highly recommend the tres de leches dessert, could not stop eating it. Will be back next time in London!

Really GREAT Mexican food. This place is nice. All kinds of people come here, young and old, from business people to artists. Love it. Great staff, very friendly. There is also a bar. In the 10 days in London we came here twice!

How is this place rated so high? Burritos are average but overpriced, service is decent, very noisy almost impossible to have a conversation, portions are small, but worst of all there is optional service charge, I asked to remove it, they said "of course" and charged it anyway. Stupid me to trust them and just pay contactless without verifying they really removed the service charge. We're not in the USA, here people are already paid for their work and whenever it feels like they really deserve it I'll give them a tip CASH, to me sure it really ends up in their pockets. Long story short, run away.

The chicken is very dry in tacos, the fish doesnt have much flavor, pork ribs have too much sugar, it’s not balanced out with a counterflavor. Service and staff etc are great

Tuve una experiencia decepcionante en Café Pacifico. Mi burrito fue servido frío, y el mojito de fruta fresca sabía abrumadoramente a lima sin equilibrio real de sabores. El servicio se sintió apresurado: una vez que llegó la factura, los camareros parecían ansiosos por que nos fuéramos, llevando el lector de tarjetas tres veces mientras mi amigo aún estaba en el baño. Para colmo, me sentí mal después de la comida. No recomendaría este lugar en absoluto.

Lovely atmosphere, great decor and nice staff. We started with some salsa and chips - the salsa had a good spice to it. Then we ordered a bottle of picante margaritas followed by mains. We got the chicken enchiladas, pork tacos, beef tostada and the prawn and sea bass tacos. I found the chicken enchiladas a little soggy and the beef tostada a little too salty. The flavours weren’t particularly WOW. However, I think the drinks and starters here are great so maybe worth coming here for a tapas-style dinner and drinks.

This has been my favourite restaurant in London for about 20 years. The food never ever disappoints and goodness me, the cocktails are to die for. Service js always speedy and superbly friendly. Authentic Mexican food. ❤️ Love love love.

Delicious food and quick service, with a nice atmosphere. Disappointed by small portion sizes for the price - I don't think I've ever left a restaurant after spending £30 on a meal feeling more hungry than when I arrived! A bit cheeky to include a mandatory service charge - why not just put your prices up by a little bit in the first place? Regardless - I still enjoyed my meal, but I probably won't return because of the price/potion size ratio.

This place has really gone downhill. I used to come here often, and it was much better, especially around 2017. It was obvious that some of the food had been microwaved, while other items were just store-bought, frozen, then fried and served. Several dishes were brought out incorrectly, repeatedly, and to top it off, instead of three prawn tacos, we only got two. By that point, we just gave up and didn’t even bother mentioning it. The portions have also shrunk. Honestly, you’re better off at Taco Bell, I At least you know what your paying for.

I’ve been quite a few times to this place and I’m always impressed, the quality of the food and drinks are exceptional especially for the price (a cocktail for £9 this tasty in central is unheard of these days!) and the service is friendly and helpful too. They are great for kids too with high chairs, baby changing, kids menu and colouring pencils. The drinks selection is exceptional too is you’re a tequila fan! I was also impressed by the non alcoholic drinks too, the mocktails especially were fab.

Este lugar ha existido por más de 40 años, así que deben estar haciendo algo bien. Cuando entras ves que está amueblado de una manera bastante básica, pero no te dejes llevar por esto. El personal es bastante eficiente, aunque estaban ocupados temprano en la noche del martes que estuvimos allí. La comida es muy sabrosa y bastante auténtica con una buena opción en el menú. Mi única crítica es la opcional 12. 5% de cargo por servicio, que me pareció un poco alto.

Service was quick, but food was poor value for money. Near Covent Garden. We won't be back.

Service charge of approx 13% added to our bill. There was only two of us dining. Nothing special about service, in and out in 30 minutes. When I asked about the services charge I was told it was added to all bills. I said I didn't want to pay and it was removed. I felt this was quiet a dishonest practice as it was not mentioned until I questioned it. On top of this food was very expensive and below expectations. Disappointment all around.

In London this is a great choice for Mexican food. But, keep your expectations in check. The atmosphere is vibrant and the service is friendly. It's a nice experience. Yet, the food doesn't match the quality of Mexican food available in hundreds of US restaurants along the Pacific coast.

Service charge of 13% was automatically added to our bill, when we questioned it, we were told it was optional and we didn't have to pay. Very cheeky, if we hadn't asked about it, we would have paid it without knowing. Bill was already quite expensive for what we got. Especially considering the food was fine, nothing fancy. Service was also fine, but nothing out of the ordinary.

The Margaritas are absolutely delicious. Some of the best magheritas I've drank. Bartenders were amazing. Food was ok.

Amazing Mexican food in London? Yes!! Great drinks - margaritas and a proper tequila selection of additive free tequilas!

This was our second time here and after our first time a year ago we had high expectations. There was no wifi, the service was terrible. I asked for jalapeños that didn’t come and on my second time of asking the server, he curtly told me “it’s coming”. It never did. I asked another lady who brought it finally. The food took very long to come too. Not sure if we will be coming back.

The place has a nice atmosphere but regarding the food and quality, it is not recommended.

The best Mexican restaurant in London!

Nice Mexican restaurant in Central London, but it’s not without a couple of flaws that deflated what could have been an excellent experience. My main turn off is menu specifics. Every taco option on the menu specified 3 tacos included. So when I ordered the Birra Special, I assumed it would be the same. I got 2. It did not specify on the menu. You could say I shouldn’t have assumed but when you’re paying £7-10 more for the privilege, this is a minimum expectation. Was left unsatisfied. This is a major flaw of any restaurant. The food itself was great. Wife’s nachos were great and although we paid extra for Guacamole it was plentiful and worth it. I was also not even asked about the meal. My wife was asked and then the server just did their job and left. I was hardly noticed. Don’t mislead and underfeed your customers and certainly don’t make them feel unnoticed. This will prevent a return. That in itself loses 2 stars from me and I probably wouldn’t go back if I’m honest. Doesn’t set a good tone. Shame really because chances are, you could have a brilliant time here and an excellent feed. Is it worth the risk? You decide.

Did someone say tequila? They have a whole menu of it! Short menu but they really do a great job they know what they do well and stick to it! Very enjoyable evening. Delightful staff, food, drinks and vibe!

Located in one of the liveliest areas of London, the place is furnished in a characteristic and tasteful way. The staff is friendly and helpful, the Mexican cuisine also offers vegetarian options. Both the jalapenos and the tacos are accompanied by a wonderful chili sauce, as well as you can ask for the addition of Guacamole. Prices more than honest. The churros are not recommended

Your margarita has gone up a ridiculous price. Its a shame as I came regularly but £18 for a large size glass is unacceptable and no justification for itthat i can see. Sadly I'll have to drop it. And I was recommending.

Absolutely amazing Mexican food!

Second time eating here- perfect as usual! Alessandra was a diamond !!!! Amazing service, food came swiftly and so many sauces to make the dishes complete. I personally loved the corn tortillas with the pork - could eat all day. The staff made an extra special birthday song for my boyfriend and free CHURROS! I said I didn’t want dessert BUT those were too good to leave behind! Even though it was very busy, you could see every staff member working their best, cleaning tables and looking attentively if any guests needed assistance. Even the music was also great. Can’t wait got my next meal 🫶🏽

Sat at the bar for some lunch time margaritas. Barkeeper made us feel very welcome and she served up some pretty fabulous drinks, we went in for a couple and left after a lot more than that because when you find the right margarita served by the right barkeeper in the right place you have to commit.

Location molto piacevole, a due passi da Covent Garden e Neal's Yard. Buoni i piatti, veloci nel servizio. Eravamo in tre, abbiamo preso 1 porzione di nachos e 2 di fajitas. Sono state sufficienti (forse nelle padelle con le fajitas c'era più verdura che carne, ma ok lo stesso!). Siamo stati 4 gg a Londra e qui è dove abbiamo mangiato meglio.

I struck up a conversation with a retired ship captain and his wife in the Dallas Fort Worth airport. They were on their way to Stockholm via London Heathrow. We were on the same flight to Heathrow and staying in London. He had lived in London previously for a short period of time. I asked if there was anywhere we should eat in London and he recommended Cafe Pacifico. He said the salsa was amazing and he also mentioned that the Tequila was pretty good too! The chips and salsa were excellent. The chips were more of a yellow corn style chip and the salsa was on the slightly dark side with a little spice at the end. The portion size was on the smaller end but still worth it. The chips survived all of five minutes at our table. They practically disappeared before I could snap a pic. I had a Pacifico Margarita. Nothing fancy but good. For my main course I had the street tacos with charro beans. These were five soft corn tortilla tacos with an eclectic mix of ground beef, chicken tinga, pulled pork, crispy seabass and grilled vegetables. I enjoyed all the tacos even the vegetable taco.

Had a great work lunch there, the staff were so helpful in organising our pre-orders. The food and drinks were fantastic and everyone commented how great it all was.

This is miles from decent Mexican food. The drinks were great but my goodness the food was sad. Tortilla chips out of a bag like flavorless Doritos, Al pastor taco served in a silly way and tasted like an ashtray, birria tacos served without consume and we had to ask for some. Really disappointing.

J'ai découvert ce restaurant en 2015, par hasard. Depuis, à chacune de mes venues à Londres, c'est le premier lieu où je vais manger ! De la bonne cuisine mexicaine, un service aimable et rapide, que demander de plus ? Un passage obligatoire pour ma part dès que je suis dans la capitale anglaise.

Visitamos el restaurante para almorzar con amigos. Todo estaba muy sabroso desde los entrantes hasta la red. Realmente disfrutamos de nachos de cerveza como entrada. Recomiendo encarecidamente los nachos como entrada.

😖 I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a Mexican before that served bland food. There wasn’t a bit of chili to been seen in the things we ordered, and when we asked for hot sauce, it was mild. The chimichanga was nice and rich but bartered fish tacos were average at best, so I’m sorry to say I would revisit

Classic London institution - great ambience and atmosphere and yummy food

If you looking for authentic mexican food I'm afraid this isn't the place. Ordered two mains and a starter will 2 beers. The potions were small, food lukewarm and very bland. We asked for some hot chilli to increase the spiciness and that brought a slightly spicy salsa you could get in a supermarket. I thought having a small menu would mean the dishes would be tasty but they weren't. The staff were pleasant and fairly friendly it's a kind of pack em in and get em out kind of place. For £72 it was very poor, but I suppose it's Covent garden so lots and lots of tourists so everything is overpaid.

Great atmosphere felt a bit Mexican feel. Service was good with fast delivery. The food was a bit disappointment as I was expecting more spicy flavour to the dishes but some of them were just bland. The chicken fajitas although smelled great but the meat was a bit hard and didn’t taste much flavours to it. Overall, food wise could improve on. And place does not have lift or anything for buggy or wheelchair access.

We ordered the taco set, with the fish, pork and halloumi and found that it was quite dry, especially the charcoal taco shell itself. The beef quesadilla was very nice and flavourful. The cocktails were nice as well.

I usually wouldn't bother leaving a review for mediocre food, but the experience was made worse by being rudely told to leave our table to make space for another booking. We had only been seated for less than an hour and a half of our two hour booking....

Stopped by for a late lunch with my family of four while walking around Covent Garden. Although it was quite late for lunch, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. The ambiance is typical of a Mexican cantina, with evident attention to detail and charming personnel taking good care of every customer. We had a great time and enjoyed our super late lunch experience. Grateful for the experience.

Decent mexican place. I had a chicken tinga and avocado tacho. I also tried their guacamole and tortilla. Both were very good. Washed it all down with Michelada and modela especial beer. Overall I would rate this place as decent food and decent atmosphere. Worth eating.

What a find! Had a free day to stroll around London and spotted Cafe Pacifico, got an instant craving for Mexican food. A look at reviews confirmed my choice. The Tacos Birria were so good! The beef consommé that accompanied the tacos was excellent (So good I sipped it AND dipped my tacos in it). Salvador, working the bar, made sure I was taken care of and I will add this to my London favorite places and will definitely be back!

One of best Mexicans in Town. Even the kids loved the food and want go back. Great fast service. Good atmosphere and great margaritas!
