The best restaurants serving American food in England

Sadly no longer trading at Colindale site. There is Watford restaurant but I have never been there. I have no doubt it would be an excellent dining experience.

Subway in Hardman Street, Staff here are excellent, especially the brunette Irish girl! They’re all saints for what they have to deal with!

My patience with dogs in cafes and restaurants is wearing very very thin so you can imagine my ire when we arrived here for a very special night and were sat next to a couple who thought it appropriate to come to a, what I might call 'fancy' restaurant, since the bill for two would be well over £100, with two enormous dogs, and I mean enormous. They lounged along the floor, had water bowls, barked, and behaved like big dogs - so I felt very on edge until I plucked up the courage and asked to be moved, feeling as if I was the one making a fuss. What the hell?! I'm a dog lover/dog owner but I do not wish to suffer other peoples' dogs when dining out. The food and wine were simply delicious but sadly, the dogs are what I'm remembering here...

Waiting time is absolutely ridiculous. No food is worth waiting for an hour....even to get drinks you have to grab the waiter passing by, no member of staff is interested in anything but chatting with colleagues.... disappointing, and I did not get the food yet....we will see :(...ok, food definitely not worth the wait...quality of the burger patty similar to the one you buy at the roadside sandwich van...nothing special, with average price being around £10-12 you would expect something better...we have ended up cancelling the second round of drinks (because it did not arrive within 30 minut from placing an order) two pints of lager and pink gin with lemonade....nothing too difficult), overall, very poor experience, un-trained staff, no management

An extremely pleasant evening out - relaxing atmosphere, good choice of food and excellent quality. Service was extremely good, with knowledgeable, engaging and professional staff. Our thanks in particular to Marco.

By far the BEST BURGERS IN MANCHESTER absolute 10/10

Tristemente incapaz de tratar de apartarse en la recepción para una orden de comida para llevar por el ‘gobernante’ dijo que estaban demasiado ocupados para la comida para llevar a pesar de que había mesas vacías allí. Volví a mi habitación en el hotel de enfrente y pedí una entrega de cinco chicos en su lugar.

Brillant food & customer service. The starters were to die for and the steak was cooked perfectly. Special shoutout to Abbie who looked after us and made us feel welcome. Will be returning :)

Great experience, always wanted to stop while commuting to work. Visited around 15:00 hrs, wasn’t busy. Manager was extremely helpful and polite, offered different choices as I wasn’t very hungry. French toast was delicious. Extensive menu choices, felt like you are stopping over in town one of the restaurants in US.

The food is delicious and the portion sizes are excellent. We had never been to Miller & Carter before and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and were happy to answer any questions about the menu. All round a good experience!

Ad hoc visit for lunch, felt welcomed right from the start, excellent choice on the lunch menu, which I didn’t know existed until now! Definitely worth a go for a midweek lunch. Food was superb and matched by the excellent service from Alice who was the right balance between professional and personal. We tried the 2 course lunch, the steak burger was a delight. Shall definitely return !

Great burritos and lovely staff at this Tortilla!

Beautiful place. Went during sat eve 8pm was fairly busy. Waited for 15mins but got a lovely table. All the deserts were amazing especially the waffles and shakes. Service was great. Managers were very helpful and a credit to the establishment. Will be back for sure. Thanks
