Lovely atmosphere, waiter (Brendan) was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Professional staff, good atmosphere and most of all good food. Our server Nis was friendly and efficient and made sure my coeliac partner was accommodated. The cocktails were also very good.

We came at lunchtime for the lunch fixed menu and the food was delicious, you get a very large portion for a lunch menu, you wont leave hungry. The food came out quickly and was hot and cooked exactly as we requested. The staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular our waitress Nis was very attentive, friendly and made us feel very welcome

Sowton Millar and Carter has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. They are responsible and respectful, even when they have to deal with the rude customers who don’t wanna pay. I come a couple times a year but each time I wanna come back earlier. I love the lamb and they know how to do a good steak obviously;)

Miller & Carter remain consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, efficient & helpful, today nothing was too much trouble for Nis who always presents as cheerful & extremely capable. The restaurant is spotless and the food is beautifully cooked and well presented. Today we enjoyed the special offer of Steak & Cocktails. Delicious.

We took our teen kids for an end of summer treat and the food, atmosphere and service were great all round. The steak experience was excellent and the wine pairing was perfect. Our waiter Marco was prompt and tentative despite managing several tables as well as ours and brought humour and a sense of understanding with our teens. I would fully recommend Miller and Carter and we will be returning again very soon. Thank you for a perfect end of summer treat for our family.

Ate here for our anniversary and Brendon served us, he was very welcoming and helpful and also made us a Happy Anniversary dessert which we loved.

We come to miller and caters for our special occasions. It never disappoints with how amazing the food and staff are, especially tonight with our waiter Brendan. He was amazing everything he done was perfect he made us feel so comfortable and looked after he is a credit to your staff and company!! What topped our evening off was Brendan brought us out a surprise dessert with a lovely message saying “Happy 2nd anniversary” which was above and beyond and made our evening even more special. Thank you Brendan for looking after us and being absolutely amazing.

Very nice high quality food with very good service. I will definitely use again in the future. The only thing that I would say if if they had more offers on and the menu prices were lower.

31-8-24 Just come to miller and carter again for mine and my partners anniversary, which we do every year! And the staff never fail us, we had Niz serving us this time. She was absolutely brilliant, very warm and welcoming. Service was 10/10 as it is every year. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone

The food was incredible. My steak was cooked perfectly, and my husband had a burger which was melt in your mouth. Our waitress, Nis, was so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. We can’t believe how long we waited to come here, and can’t wait to come back again!

Good good, friendly staff were very welcoming (thank you Nis and Ryan). Music was not too loud which I really appreciate. We really enjoyed our strawberry cocktails. It was a bit uncomfortably hot despite the open windows. The lighting is a bit dim too.

Great place, super service, lovely food

Our grumpy server really detracted from what was otherwise a fabulous evening. The food was fantastic, my sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and the lettuce wedge with stilton and blue cheese was the perfect accompaniment. However our server was an older gentleman who seemed really unhappy that we were there. It seemed that everything was a bother. Very disappointing.

Now was fantastic and very attentive.
