Overrated, and overpriced...Never wasting my money here again...I bought a salad for about £12...the bits of chicken in there was probably worth £1 and another £1 for the salads in there...daylight robbery...and LACKING IN TASTE...I'd rather pay more and go to NANDO'S

In mine ceaseless adventures across this fair land, fortune did guide me to an establishment named Slim Chicken. Though I am but a humble dog, constrained to dine al fresco, I found ample seating to rest my weary paws. The fare, though unremarkable, did satisfy the cravings of a traveler. The food, whilst standard, was prepared with care and sufficed to quell the pangs of hunger. Yet, 'twas the exterior atmosphere that didst truly captivate mine senses. The setting, with its vibrant energy and bustling life, was a feast for mine eyes. The passersby, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the warm embrace of the sun did combine to create an experience most enchanting. In sum, though the victuals of Slim Chicken may not ascend to the heights of culinary excellence, the outdoor ambiance doth compensate in no small measure. For those who seek a place of rest and observation, it doth serve its purpose most admirably.

One of the best places to have fried chicken. I highly recommend the wings and their honey mustard sauce. I also like the bottomless drinks and my party enjoyed their tinder chicken.

Not a bad place for food, it is a chain soo you get what you get really with this. I personally wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this place but the food is quite good I had some loaded fries and a honey BBQ burger which was really nice, but at the end of the day can't complain. Tastes nice

Great place with very nice food. Someone recommended this place to me. The chicken sandwich and chips were well nice. Additionally, you can get some alcohol beverages , not many options, but it fits really well with the sandwich. I also tried a milkshake from my partner, and it was definitely worth coming back for again. The place is fairly small, but it has also got a small outside area. The price for food is average and, in my opinion, proportional to the quality of food. I will go to eat this place again, for sure.

The big letdown is the food. Yes, it's a fast-food place, but it is providing food at KFC standards for a significantly higher price. The staff were friendly and helpful, but none of the tables around us had been properly cleaned, having visible, dried-on residue from previous sittings (probably the previous day, as we visited soon after it had opened).

The food I ordered was 8 wings meal I got a 3plus3 meal for a different person order was freezing cold as they put my ice cold can on top of the box of hot food warm can cold soggy food very poor standers From this restaurant

First time visiting here today and the food is very good, service is great. I paid for the food and came sat down and the food arrived very quickly.. the lady at the till was very polite. I'd definitely be coming here again.

they didn't provide any hand wipes, the chips were cold and the wet soggy garlic bread was not very nice. I like the chicken but for £20 I believe I didn't get value for money.

Fabulous food and milkshakes. Although on the pricey side the meals are very substantial and filling. Everything tastes fresh. More of a decent meal for children. There is something for everyone in our family eating here and it's our first choice if we are out and it's an option. Huge portions and if you struggle to eat it all you can just box it and take home for later. This restaurant is a bit small so to eat at a table can be difficult. But they do have outside seats so best during the warmer months. Highly recommend.

This chicken is some of the best I've had from a fried chicken restaurant. It is very dear though. You could purchase a better meal from a restaurant, not a fast food chain, for similar prices.

Is this the best chicken in Exeter? Maybe. I'd definitely recommend the fried pickles. In terms of wheelchair accessibility, the doorway is completely level access and is easy to get around inside with wide spaces for turning. The order screen is fairly high so I found it easier to order at the counter instead

Sadly our order hasn’t arrived, even though you have marked it as “Delivered”. Really poor service and no way of speaking to anyone on the phone or getting a replacement.

The salad was good. Shame water was the only healthy drink. Juices would have been good.

Awkward review to score. Online order for pickup at 19.00. (Good) Food was ready and back home in 10 minutes using a bag to keep hot. Food was only lukewarm. (Not good) Chips were soggy. (Poor) Dips missing and some dips wrongly added. (Not good) Phoned and emailed but no joy. (Poor) Went to store as in town and met Jay. (5 Star). Brilliant customer service.(Great) Understood issue and resolved it straight away. My son said the food is usually great when you eat in. So perhaps we might give it another go. Would have been 2 but Jay made it 3. 👍

Would give no stars but not an option Loyalty card could not be scanned at outlet again. Again advised to contact via app, there is nowhere to do this on the app. So again on this occasion and did not get a stamp that I should have been given so this means that I will have to spend more to have this , alternatively I could go elsewhere as there are lots of outlets offering chicken in Exeter. Not much point having a LOYALTY CARD THAT CAN NOT BE SCANNED EVERYTIME IN STORE

Slim chickens is the best chicken shop around. Beats KFC, bit slower then your normal chicken shop but the quality makes up for it

Food was nice, chicken was very tender which was as advertised. Though the facilities were not pleasant. One loo was out of order and the other was smelly. Didn't see much of the staff, but when they dropped off the food they were pleasant enough.

Late and messed up the order sending the wrong items, have been terrible recently.

Cool decor and friendly staff. Tenders are juicy and tasty but very inconsistent with size and recently have been very oily. Hygiene and cleanliness is getting worse very visit. Toilets need to have more attention and be cleaned more regularly.

Ordered large chips was 1.50 extra and they gave literally no more chips

We do enjoy a visit to Slim Chickens! The food is always good quality and enjoyable. Not had a bad meal yet. Only issue is that the loyalty app never works on the kiosks so you have to order at the till. This usually isn’t a huge issue as there’s rarely a long queue

This chicken is out of this world... one of the best you will find. It is a 'fast food' place but it is delicious and worth sitting down for. There is also beet served here too!

We visited for lunch on 3rd August, the two make staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and would make us return again.
