Went in for the advertised industrial cheap night got told that they can’t do it due to management when they have a sign in the window offering discount to people that work in the industry was going to be the hub for a staff night out but we all walked out after they didn’t offer what was advertised in the window very disappointing on the staff night out false advertising to say the least At least the two bar staff was friendly Look forward to the reply from the false advertising from a company that has multiple sites around the country

Millie; Thanks for organising the afternoon tea. We were really looking forward to eating out which we don’t that often. The occasion was my 65th birthday and retirement. The voucher was a gift from my granddaughter who saved her pocket money for ages. The mains that we were given were ok, there was something missing; either it was the mac n cheese bites or tater tots? Which can be forgiven but the pudding was very poor; there was no tiramisu but 4 portions or brownie and waffle which were all stale and what looked like canned cream on the top of the brownies (maybe to hide that it wasn’t tiramisu. which was also poor and falling off the brownies. We were so disappointed we just left the table; I don’t know if we had a bill to pay but we waited and waited to pass out comments on. We just left. We don’t want a refund or coupon or money off next visit that’s not where this is coming from. Just thought you should know.

We held our yearly Christmas Party at Revolution this year and it was a memorable experience. Millie had helped me plan the entire night and went above and beyond to ensure maximum satisfaction throughout the entire evening. There were several food options and drink tokens available. The photo booth was also a lovely addition to the night as we had co workers leave with a printed copy of their pictures. The staff were very fun to be around as they got involved with the night, which was nice to see. Thank you all for your hard work and hospitality!

Lovely food and drinks. Good value too. This place is dog friendly too which is good. Will definitely come back here again.

Decent bar/ restaurant in the city centre. Food is always a bit mid but affordable for a nice evening. Photobooth is fun but the space is cramped and lighting/ music is very overwhelming. Staff are a bit clueless but try their best!

This was a great bar for drinking, with a modern and bright atmosphere! This is brought out by the lighting with the decor including mock greenery, counter is stylish in its own right anyway. Seating is nice outside and we shared out a shots stick, a tad on the expensive side though.

Absolutely dreadful. Poor staff were ran ragged, no where here enough staff for volume of people. Food was disgusting, how can a pizza be so awful. 1 bottle of prosecco in over an hour. Refused to pay full price and discount was honoured, but absolutely ridiculous. How this place is so busy I will never know. Will never return and staff shouldn't either.

The worst meal I have ever had. Meant to be a bottomless brunch, the service was slow, we got 3 cocktails in 2 hours. And paid £35, shocking. The food was poor how can you make a pizza tasteless.

Deeply upset after visiting here for lunch with family. Myself and one other ordered vegan chicken burgers and were given the regular chicken burgers. The waitress placed them down and stated they were vegan, trusting that we bit into them and could immediately tell they were meat. As a vegan, I felt incredibly uncomfortable with how the situation was handled, not only did we wait for 20 minutes to hear back from the chef after raising concerns to the waitress with the meat burgers infront of us, we were also left feeling they didn't understand how upsetting this was for us. There were clearly several easily avoidable errors, our orders were correct, the chicken and vegan burgers look very different, and we were told all vegan meals are labelled when brought out, ours weren't. The lack of accountability really reinforced that they weren't taking the situation seriously enough. Veganism is not just a diet, I had just consumed an animal and as someone who has campaigned against the meat industry and is very awear of how the chicken ended up on my plate, I was utterly devastated.

Left feeling totally ripped off. Ordered and paid for a pint of coke. Got a pint glass full of ice and then coke. I asked the bar tender to remove the ice which she did and we were left with less then half a glass of coke. I asked her to top it up and she refused saying it would affect the stock levels. Next time I ordered a pint of coke without ice and was told that I would only be able to have half a glass-half a pint when you have paid for a pint! Apparently it's 'the brand standard', yet nothing in the cola training manual stipulates this....in fact expect they would prefer the customer not to have a diluted version or feel cheated. Mediocre food.

Poor communication between the staff, we were unable to carry out our social. We were promised something that wasn’t offered to us. Very disappointed.

Came to the boots and beats night. Wow what a night. The food was amazing as was the music from the dj’s. They even got involved with their hats and shirts had such a great night. The staff are really attentive and welcoming. We will be back Thankyou.

Visited early on a Saturday night - was getting busier but much more suited to a younger crowd

We went for a hen do and did the cocktail Masterclass which was great! Sadly that’s where the good review ends. The toilets were the worst toilets I’ve seen for a long time, more like a crime scene. Absolutely disgusting. The DJ was vaping as were people on the dance floor in full view of the security staff. Not great!

Shocking service tonight. Took my daughter for a meal waited over 45 mins for starters and still didn't come out. I understand they were busy but they weren't busy with food orders. Gave up in the end and went elsewhere.

Terrible atmosphere, service was dreadful, we left as it took so long to get served on a bottomless brunch.

I've been here before and enjoyed the food, so was happy to come back again. You can get good value meals in the lunch special and the childrens menu is good too. There was plenty of good, high quality food. My husband had a burger, I chose fish finger butty (which has amazing homemade fish fingers) and my son had a childrens pizza with fries and a brownie. Everything was fantastic and we didn't have to wait long for it all to come out. The childrens portion size is quite large for a 3 year old, but we helped him eat it. The staff are always super friendly there and I would definitely eat here again.

We was given a virgin experience afternoon tea voucher and revolution was the closest to us and thought how different it is to the traditional afternoon tea. The food was actually nice although not as filling as a traditional one. It was a shame we wasn't given plates just had to eat of the trays between us!! We was there 30 minutes and not offered a drink. When I questioned this I was told they was very busy, there was more empty tables then full! We was then told our afternoon tea didn't come with a drink (although I showed them the virgin voucher that says includes hot drinks) so we said we would still have 2 cups of tea (they don't do decafe tea) it took 20 minutes for the waitress to come back to say she has been searching for milk and this was all she could find (soya and oat) by this time we had almost finished eating so told her not to bother as we had almost finished. I also mention we haven't even been given plates!! She said oh sorry and walked off. We finished eating and went down the road to Boston tea rooms for a drink who were busy but quick service. The attitude of the staff made us feel that because we wasn't paying (although the gift voucher had been paid for) we wasn't worth good service. Would definitely not recommend.

Always fun things happening at revs, drinks are a little pricey but definitely worth it and food is always tasting good. Staff are amazing i believe there’s some new staff that has started. I was helped by one named Brooklyn he was super helpful and was being trained by a more experienced staff member. I understood to be patient as he still learning. Brooklyn has good customer service and hope to see him on future visits.

we had a 'buyagift' voucher and chose to go here and book it this morning for lunchtime as it was a lovely day and we both had the day off and it was a bit of a nightmare trying to book it online, we didn't have a reply to our booking request but went anyway (on the train) and the the ladies who work there were simply amazing, sorted everything and gave us an amazing relaxed experience which was just what was needed, the food and cocktails were fab too

Loved our experience. Tia was incredible. So attentive, kind and accommodating. The 2-4-1 cocktails were exquisite. Would highly recommend for large group bookings and team days!

Made a booking for bank holiday Monday turned up to be told there was no mains food menu available Only a few items Didn’t bother eating there went to the farmers union and had great service great food Is this another revolution closure?

We went to bottomless brunch here on the 24/08/23, and we had really bad services. Our booking was booked for 4pm and we didn’t get any drinks or even a menu till 4.45pm, I understand it was busy… but it wasn’t good enough. Safe to say I will not be coming back to revolution,Matthew said he would be back with our drinks but it took him 30 minutes and that he said he ‘forgot about us ‘ which wasn’t really professional.

Very disappointing experience, would not recommend. Went here for the afternoon tea which I had been gifted, it was incredibly noisy, the service was chaotic and slow and the food was very average. We were served a waffle which was stale/rock hard and we couldn’t eat. The rest of the food was slightly better but underwhelming. Only positives were the cocktails were good and the staff agreed to move us outside where it was less noisy (but we had to ask them twice before they sorted it).

Avoid like the plague to save having a disappointing experience! We went to Revolution for a birthday to the Greese themed bottomless brunch. Started bad from the start... the act was cancelled, no-one was informed until we arrived at our seats, there was a bit of music to compensate but it took a while for them to arrange it... we were supposedly upgraded for the disappointing start but we weren't sure how the upgrade benefited anyone but the company, that was also an added disappointment with a limited menu. The food was mediocre at best and we only got about 4 cocktails each in the time we were there. Drinks were asked for but never delivered which is an utter disgrace, this happened twice on the last two orders, we were ready to leave by that point and didn't know who to report to at the time of the incident. Our last order was taken, none of the drinks given to us and were asked to pay down stairs as our time was up. Not worth £35 that's for sure, the pros did not way out the cons unfortunately. We'll be trying one of the other venues next time, we will not be making the same mistake by going here again.

My wife took our two young girls to Revolution for lunch today. She enjoyed it so much that she was very happy to leave the review mentioned by the waiter... Our waiter, Alex, could not have been more helpful. He explained the menu options on the children's menu really clearly and gave me great advice about menu choices for myself when I couldn't decide. His charming smile certainly charmed all three of us girls! The food was delicious and, with the Tastecard, the total bill was very reasonable. We will definitely eat there again.

Loved the grease brunch so much! Joe smashed it, amazing time! Thank you revs Exeter! We will be back very soon! Best time ever
