Lovely food. Steak is superb! Alice and Davina are so warm and lovely- Great hospitality! They are an asset to the company!

I chose this steakhouse (Miller and Carter) to celebrate my son's 19th birthday because of the great service, delicious food, and polite and attentive wait staff (especially Dan). Thank them so much for a wonderful evening.

Had a lovely meal for our anniversary! Was served by Dan. There was a small issue that he saw to straight away. He was very friendly and greater! Great meal and would recommend.

We came for dinner on Tuesday 27th may- Dan was our waiter and was amazing- he was friendly and attentive nothing was too much trouble and he definitely made us feel incredibly welcome - 10/10 definitely

Everything felt fresh and locally sourced.

Enjoyed the meal but didn’t like the iceberg lettuce wedge it was too big. We thought Davina our waitress was really lovely and couldn’t of been more helpful.

We had a beautiful meal as always at Miller & Carter Northampton, it never fails to disappoint! We was served by Hannah and she did a great job, she was lovely very attentive but not too much, always smiley and happy to get us more drinks! Was nice to see a few different starters and desserts on the menu. Steak was perfect as always and The caramel biscuit torte was to die for! 😋

What a lovely evening at Miller and Carter. Excellent service from start to finish - especially our waiter Phil! He was super friendly, patient, and helpful. Our finished plates were cleared away promptly, which you don’t usually see in restaurants anymore! The food was perfectly sourced and cooked, especially the steaks. We will definitely be returning soon!

A fantastic restaurant the service from davina was top class she was so attentive. The food was amazing I had the t bone which was perfectly cooked. And you can't help but love the lettuce slice. I had the really tasty cauliflower spicy wings which were so tasty. My colleagues really enjoyed the wine. This is my second visit and I cant wait to visit soon.

We had our anniversary meal here a few weeks ago, we were served by Hannah who was very polite and helpful. Very nice food and the steaks were cooked perfectly and how we asked.

Davina was our server,lovely young lady,professional, pleasant,helpful,nothing too much trouble.it was to celebrate my husbands birthday and she bought him a dessert with happy birthday on the chocolate.The meal was delicious we will return again soon.Thankyou for a wonderful lunch.

I’ve been here a few times with friends and family the environment is a good place and so is the food I had the miller and carter burger and it was very tasty and full of burger grease and that made it so tasty did get abit dirty 😂😂 but staff are kind and food is cooked well will be back thank you a lot all the staff and chefs from miller and carter 😀

Kaira was the most friendly and attentive server on Thursday evening, and despite having many other tables to look after, she made all the time in the world for us and we felt very special. The food was spot on and we were checked back on regularly to see how everything was with our meal. I took advantage of the dates and steaks set menu (pork belly starter, fillet steak, caramel biscuit torte), great value for money.

Lovely evening meal and excellent service as always. We were served by Hannah, who was attentive, conscientious and served us with a smile.

Beautiful family friendly place to dine...they make extra effort to cater for baby buggy and always have baby high chairs and lovely changing area. The food wae delicious and we were served by Davina who was very friendly and proffessional

Two month ago I’ve been to this place 2nd time and the food is great but the service is always on top! I love how professional, friendly, accommodating and well trained people work in this restaurant. I think they need to open the special school for how to serve people! I took my sister for dinner to this place as we both craved steak and the food is 9/10 some 8/10 but the service is always 11/10 Special thank you for Alice for making our evening memorable and enjoyable We will be back soon for more.

To start with our server was great and none of this was her fault however this place shouldn't be able to call it's self a steak house let alone charge those prices. I would put the steak on a par with a 2 for 10 place just bigger. But you paying+ for it. My own fault for thinking that place could match up to a decent steak house.

It was my first time eating at a Miller & Carter and I was not disappointed. We were served by Hannah and she couldn’t have been more helpful, so friendly too! I ordered the T-Bone and it was cooked perfectly, my partner had the chicken burger and she thought it was great value for money! Would eat here again!!

Our go-to restaurant for steak and family events, today a birthday. The fixed price lunch works for us - great price and great food. Nice place. I think the national policy on casual wear is a bit of a joke. We saw at least two people in t-shirt and shorts. My particular concern is people on their phones. We had one chap making 4 calls trying to sell driveway tarmacking, etc. Sat in the centre of the restaurant and shouting down the phone. Otherwise a nice time.

The meal was excellent, and Dan provided exceptional service.

Our server Dan greet dress warmly and took great care and providing us an exceptional service. I have visited the Miller and Carter on many occasions and the food has always been excellent, On this occasion, the fillet was slightly chewy So not quite up to the usual standard - This won’t put me off return now and I do highly recommend this restaurant

We went for a steak date night and was greeted by the lovely Davina. All evening she was attentive and friendly and so polite. She is honestly a credit to the team. We will definitely be returning just because of how lovely she is and how amazing the food was. 10/10 experience.

We visited Miller & Carter yesterday (Easter Sunday) for the first time. We had high expectations as a lot of people had told us how wonderful it was and how the food was outstanding. Unfortunately, our experience didn't mirror other people's experiences. We booked our table on the app for 4.45pm. On arrival, the restaurant was busy but not full. There were plenty of tables available, so the restaurant wasn't working at full capacity. Staffing numbers seemed within the normal range of a restaurant, with the number of customers. Our waiter was polite and friendly. We decided to opt for the Sunday set menu of 3 courses. Although ideally, we wanted just 2 courses, but was told that that was not an option. It had to be 3 courses when ordering from the set menu. Our starter was the Sticky Chipotle Chicken. Which tasted very nice until I found a piece of chicken that was still pink in the middle. We told our waiter, and he apologised and said he would let the kitchen know. We waited a very long time for our mains. Bear in mind that we were chatting away, but we still noticed that it was taking a long time to receive our mains. We ordered the rack of bbq ribs and the Angus steak. The steak was on the small side, but it was nice and enjoyable, and the ribs were very nice. A bit stingy on the coleslaw, though, the tiniest of ramekins! 🙈 Unfortunately, where we were sitting, beside the work station where all the waiting staff were collecting food from the kitchen. This was quite distracting, and you were always aware of the staff walking in and out. Staff were congregating here, whille waiting for orders. While waiting, we witnessed them eating food from a plate (not a customers plate) and licking their fingers just before taking orders out to customers. Picking up customer plates with the same fingers they had just licked. We finished our mains, and our waiter cleared our plates. He left our sides plates/dishes and forgot to come back for them. He returned quite a while after and asked if we wanted anything else, which we replied that we would like to order our desserts. Our desserts were the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and the chocolate brownie with ice cream. The desserts were OK, nothing to write home about. The sticky toffee pudding had a different kind of texture in the middle. It tasted grainy, although it didn't look it. I'd never tasted a sticky toffee pudding like it. The chocolate brownie was ok, although slightly gloopy inside. I forgot to mention that, while we were eating our desserts, our side plates/dishes (from our mains) were still on the table, and they stayed there till we left the restaurant. After finishing our desserts, we asked for the bill. Our waiter returned to our table with the carder reader and told us the total of our bill, out loud. I asked if he had brought the bill so we could check that all was correct. He apologised and went back to print the bill, and returned ready for payment to be made. Overall, we weren't impressed with Miller & Carter. It was our first time, and we don't plan to return, to dine here again. We feel the price paid did not reflect the food and service given. We're not normally ones to give a bad review or feedback, and we understand there may be many reasons as to why our visit wasn't all we thought it may be. We both know of people who have visited and had a lovely experience as to why we had high expectations. Even a lady who sat near to us complained about her meal and sent it back to the kitchen twice. She stated that she had been to the restaurant several times before and had always had a good experience. So it seems that yesterday wasn't the norm, but it was enough to make us feel that we would not return.

We went as a family and were more than impressed - the food was absolutely delicious, the steak was melt-in-the-mouth and all the dishes were beautifully presented. The service was impeccable and the staff were wonderful. A special shout-out to our hostess, Davina, who is a sweetheart and a real credit to your establishment. It was a very enjoyable family meal and we shall definitely be back.

Absolutely fantastic. I took my partner here to propose to her. They were polite kind and made the whole experience one that we will never forget. Out waitress Katie was fantastic our order went through and there was barely any waiting time. She brought the ring out on a platter dressed up saying "will you marry me" and the area we were seated was perfect. Both me and my partner can not thank you all enough for this amazing experience.

We had Dan as our server this Sunday and he was absolutely smashing. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent.

Went for Mother’s Day. Service ridiculously slow from the start (12.10) and 2 out of 3 steaks cooked wrong. Already emailed to complain and they admitted the day was a disaster but yet they offered no compensation. Won’t return.
