Just a very good Argentinean restaurant ! The meat was excellent and the service excellent ! Special thanks to Christopher who was very attentive and friendly ! Quality has a cost but it is totally justified ! I look forward to coming back !

Pre-theatre meal, so had a reservation for 5pm. My partner ordered garlic prawns for a starter and after olives and drinks the starters arrived. As soon as the prawns were put on the table it was obvious they weren’t cooked properly, two of them were a dull grey, not pink. We made our “table host” aware and he agreed and sent them back to the kitchen. 5 minutes later the prawns came back again and unbelievably one was still grey and cold in the centre. Another member of staff came over and agreed that the prawn wasn’t cooked properly. We got up and left. Two opportunities to cook a prawn properly, perhaps the kitchen porter was in charge of the kitchen on a Saturday evening?

My wife and I made reservations here before the Les Miserables play. We are so glad we did. We arrived early where the hostess graciously showed us the bar area We had wonderful drinks while we waited for our time. Our server could not have been better. He patiently explained the various cuts of meat and styles that you could choose from. Just too many choices which was a good thing. The selection of sides was vast. We got 3 sides which were plentiful and really too much for us to eat. One word of caution. Ask their definition for the cooking temperature. Wonderful Argentine Steak house.Loved the Salmon Tartare Tacos as starters plus the Tira de Ancho Rib Eye for main course.To finish,it’s hard to go past the Marshmellow Cheese Cake.The wine list is excellent for Argentine favourites such as Catena Argentino .Service was prompt and efficient.

Great spot close to Regent Street, but slightly hidden from the shopping crowd. Great spot for business meeting and amazing Argentinian beef. Rib eye was outstanding as was the Scallops started. A bit pricy, but understandable in this location. Already planning on coming back.

Booked with a friend to have brunch at £70 each plus 12.5 % service. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly host who welcomed us, we then made our way upstairs to the restaurant. Our experience was mainly let down by our female server. She tried to do everything to rush us. We were aware we had free flowing drinks for 1hr 40mins. The brunch had unlimited starters, but she wanted our main order straight away. When we questioned why when we could have another starter she backed off. Then promptly came back a few minutes later to ask for our mains order, we had to ask her why she was rushing us. We ordered more starters as we didn’t get what we had ordered the first time! Everything about her was rush rush rush, it ruined what should have been a relaxing brunch. I personally did not rate the starters, sausages were the best one but not great. Main was good, cooked well - Churrasco De Cuadril Spiral cut steak, marinated in garlic, parsley and olive oil. With chips. Overall I would not recommend nor return. Service is poor, brunch overpriced and aside from my main the food was not to my liking.

Bottomless brunch booked for an engagement celebration for 7 at Gaucho Piccadilly on 23/3/24. So disappointed in the quality of the food and lack of speed for service. Food was pretty horrendous, rib eye steaks which were more like millet frying steaks, the rump steaks were difficult to chew. Chips were cold and egg undercooked. One good meal which was the burger. The brownie was like a slab of concrete, cold and not one from the seven at the table ate it. For the price and past reputation, we were shocked at the poor quality. An odd rule that no other extra drinks could be ordered to the table so when we asked for orange juice for the sparkling wine it was not allowed. Very little in terms of positive interaction with the staff, they didn’t notice that hardly any food was being eaten. When we spoke to the manager at the end of service, he apologised and said we could have another round of drinks but the only money off would be the service. There was no final round of drinks allowed via the waitress and the manager disappeared not to be seen again. Very very disappointed, was one of the worst bottomless brunches we have been to. Would recommend others that are better value and quality, Kod near Liverpool St for example.

Best steak ever and I travelled a lot. I have been twice and the quality and the way they cook it is superb. Can’t wait to go again 🤤 If we want a steak, it’s only gaucho now.

This was one of our mandatory stops for a steak and wine one evening. Lovely setting albeit busy. Food was very good as expected but I felt the service was a tad slow on this visit. I have to add they were super busy and we walked in without a reservation. We had to wait a few minutes to get a table but it was worth is.

Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant le soir du 31 décembre et comment vous dire la déception a été totale et a tout les niveaux. Tout d'abord nous avions fait une réservation a 20h00 et celle ci ne semble pas avoir été prise en compte du fait que notre table n'était pas prête à notre arrivée ce qui a cause un retard de 20 minutes. Mais passons, cela aurait pu vite être oublié si la cuisine était au niveau du standing prétendu. Les serveurs sont clairement la pour nous faire sortir le porte feuille autant que possible, deux malheureux morceau de pain avec une noisette de beurre facturé 6 GBP tout cela sans nous prévenir de ce prix exorbitant et des serveurs qui nous orientent très clairement vers les alcool les plus chers de la carte en nous expliquant que les autres ne sont "pas bons" apparemment. Pour les plats, les viandes et poissons ne sont pas mauvais mais rien d'exceptionnel au vu du prix avec des portions très restreinte. Mention spéciale cependant il faut bien le dire au ceviche de bar en entrée très parfumé et avc bcp de goût, franchement la seule bonne note de la soirée. A l'arrivée une note qui s'élève a 120 GBP pour deux, quelle fut l'amertume lorsque vint le moment de sortir la CB. En résumé, nous déconseillons très fortement ce restaurant a ce prix on peut trouver bcp bcp bcp mieux dans la même gamme de prix

This trip to Gaucho restored my faith in the brand having been previously disappointed at the Tower Bridge restaurant. Great steak and a lovely ambience in the first floor part of the restaurant albeit service was a little slow considering it was still quiet at the time we ordered. However for us it wasn’t really a problem. Served by Edison who was an absolute delight and who had the most contagious smile and subtle cheekiness about him. I wanted to steal him. Will definitely return.

We had a fabulous pre-theatre meal here. The service was attentive and the steaks fantastic. While I understand you want to create atmosphere with the low lighting in the dining areas, it would be good to light the loos and stairs better as it was too dark!
