Me and my partner visited this evening. My partners been here before and it was my first time. I was very satisfied with my whole experience. We were served by a lovely lady called Diane. She was very smiley and welcoming, and really appreciated the service she gave us. The food 100% matches the price and would definitely come back again.

Been to some different Miller & Carter restaurants and each time it has been good food and service. Really reliably tasty well cooked steaks, with generous portions of sides and sauces. My filet was particularly good; perfectly tender, melting and charred. Tonight our waitress, Alma, was especially helpful and friendly, handling my father’s bad dad jokes like a pro, and giving us some useful tips on the menu to suit our tastes. Atmosphere is fine. Purely functional, and if you’re focussed on your conversation and dinner it doesn’t matter too much anyway. Price-wise it’s in the high end for high-street chain type places, but quality of food does make up for it, and I keep coming back to it so it must be good.

We booked our table at 7.30pm for 8pm sitting. Alma our server was very attentive and on point. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this M&C

It's a nice restaurant and the servers are very good, unfortunately the food was not as good as you would expect from a steakhouse. I had a 12oz Sirloin which is supposed to be very lean but the one I was served was very fatty and full of connective tissue, and although it was cooked how I like my steak (rare) and was flavoursome i was unable to eat 25% of it because of the fat and tissue. At over £40 a head for just a main and a drink it was quite dissapointing.

We visit here ar least twice a month,it is expensive but the food is very good.The servers are very friendly and helpful. My only moan and it is not just here is the wait for your drinks.We watched our drinks get poured and placed at end of bar and there they sat,barman just stood there and I presume the manager who sat us at our table walked by are drinks numerous times and just left them there until are server came and got them and brought them to our table.I can understand if they are busy they don't have time but it was very quiet,maybe something to look at

We love Miller & Carter. Food is always lovely, speedy service - but always the right amount of time between courses, never rushed. Served by Karolina, a few times now, and she is always friendly and efficient. We do most of our family birthdays there and they are always happy to assist with a cake.

Fantastic lunch here, really friendly service and the food was delicious. We had an issue with the car park but on calling M&C it was resolved immediately so even their after care was brilliant. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

Came here for my brothers birthday. Food didn't disappoint. However, I still don't get the side of lettuce. I think it's a cheap and naff idea and would prefer a proper salad to accompany my steak. The lovely waitress was running around like a lunatic trying to cover all the tables. Felt like she could've done with an extra pair of hands.

Ad hoc visit for lunch, felt welcomed right from the start, excellent choice on the lunch menu, which I didn’t know existed until now! Definitely worth a go for a midweek lunch. Food was superb and matched by the excellent service from Alice who was the right balance between professional and personal. We tried the 2 course lunch, the steak burger was a delight. Shall definitely return !

Paul was brilliant with our party of 17 on a Friday evening. He was attentive and knowledgeable and gave 5* service. Great food, as always and we had a wonderful evening.

Great bits- our starters and our main waitress Bad bits!- I asked for medium rare sirloin, just bacon on my lettuce and pepper sauce. My sirloin was like a filet and was cook rare and they took it back to cook more. I kept my chips. They missed off my pepper sauce. I also had my husband onion loaf. I got my sauce and ended up have 2, I also ended up with 2 chips. My steak was then cook slightly over medium. So I didn't get want i had ordered and just said everything was fine just so I could eat as I was hungry. When I got my lettuce it had the mustard sauce on, which had to go back. The lady who bought my lettuce over, I said" it's got mustard on it and ask just just bacon" she replied with "i just bring the food"! Wow, that was rude and you waitress is rubbish! When my plate came back I was also an onion loaf short because they gave me a new one and didn't see on my plate that I had 2.

Nice restaurant, seats are comfortable and the tables are nicely spaced out. Food is absolutely delicious, I definitely recommend getting the T-bone steak, the service was a bit slow but they were friendly and polite.

The food was very good - but it was our waitress, Saffron, who made it a stand out experience. Helpful and good-humoured, she went out of her way to make our meal special.

We dined in and had Heather. She was really lovely, kind and smiley. She was thoughtful about leaning over our table to deliver our food and she is very well mannered. Food was good but my daughters steak was well done when we asked for medium rare!

My husband and I had a meal here for the 1st time. We were welcomed by friendly staff and our server was the lovely, friendly and bubbly Saffron. My allergy needs were met and our meals were delicious. Saffron was really helpful, she made us feel comfortable and she had a really good sense of humour too. The atmosphere was really chilled and relaxed. We will definitely return again.

Me and my boyfriend come to miller and carter every 2 months as we love steak. Corissa was our server today and was the nicest server we’ve ever had. I am pregnant and she was nothing but helpful to what is the best cook when it comes to pink steak. Amazing food cooked to perfection!

We visited Miller and Carter Ipswich for Mothers Day. Saffron was our server and was absolutely fantastic! She approached our table with a huge smile, was super friendly and attentive throughout our visit and made some great food recommendations for some of us fussy eaters and she got it spot on! Please pass on our thanks to Saffron, she really was fab! Great food and lovely atmosphere and a lovely little gesture of a mother's day card on the table too! Will definitely be returning soon!

Came here for Mother’s Day lunch. We had a lovely time the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Our server today was Heather, she was very attentive and was really patient with our 7 year old who insisted on ordering for him self and read the whole description out of his chosen dishes. Heather had a smile on her even with how busy the restaurant was. Well done to the whole team for making today lovely for us.

Amazing Sunday lunch great service.

We were served by HENRY who was such a delightful waiter. He was so attentive and very polite. I think he deserves a pay rise. If only all waiting staff are as friendly and polite as he is, people will keep coming back to these establishments .

Went on the 21st of march 2025 it was quite packed so my critique for this visit may be due to the busyness as they are normally really good, but when i went on the 21st i ordered a medium rare steak and ended up getting one that was rare, but the server was quick to act after we said it but other than that every thing else was good would recommend if you go when it is not busy.

Quick little lunch date, Food was amazing and service was top notch by Karolima very attentive and fast service. Would highly recommend the steak sandwich for lunch.
