Been to Tango many times at this site and the previous one and was normally very good. Had a mediocre experience last time but called in again to try and it was the same. My wife's cold burger came and she was done with hers before mine arrived, which was 'okay', not the usual standard. I understand it's busy this time of year, but we were a very easy table of two. No-one came to us to ask how we were and were taken back when I said I don't want to add the service charge onto the bill (always happy to tip) Shame as it was always a great place to eat, wth great burgers and atmosphere. Don't think we will go back

Absolutely shocking, paid 47 quid for a bottomless party and was only served 3 drinks staff not interested in us at all and only offered a bottle of prosecco as an apology, after speaking with a manager who was avoiding us we were finally given 30% off our bill, will not return, other tables around us complaining too...terrible

The Woods is a Worthing institute and one of the best burger joints around. Offering a selection of distinct burgers, The Woods will not leave you disappointed. I first visited several years ago and was blown away by their mozzarella sticks. My partner and I have jokingly called them mozzarella bricks ever since that first visit as their sheer size is phenomenal. The burgers themselves are delicious, with perfect flavour combinations. I recently tried the Dirty Birdy; fried chicken on a waffle with cheese, bacon and maple syrup. A classic American combo that can only be improved by being washed down with a Macaullay shake! Featured in the attached photo is their burger challenge. Whilst we certainly didn't complete the challenge, we can confirm that despite the volume of food, the quality and taste does not disappear. The challenge includes a portion of Porky Boi Fries, which might be my favourite thing on the menu! Now, The Woods may be slightly more expensive than your average burger restaurant, however, their food is worth every penny. It is the perfect location for a birthday treat, catching up with friends, or even a date night out. I cannot recommend The Woods enough and when you go and visit, you will understand why!

The gluten-free food here is amazing. My wife had the gf sausage muffin, while I chose the steak and eggs. Unfortunately, my steak wasn't good, and I let the staff know. What happened next blew my mind. Without any hesitation, they replaced the whole meal, not just the steak. They really couldn't have handled it any better. Outstanding service.

We have been stopping at Walkers since it was a caravan, well over 40 years. First when we came, often, to Norfolk from Bedfordshire, and then, when we moved to Norfolk, every time we went to visit friends and family in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. We stopped there on our bikes, in cars and in vans. We picked up burgers for our kids when they were at Uni in Cambridge and Northampton and we visited, took them, or picked them up. You get the picture, we have visited a lot! We never had a problem with anything. I loved the burgers and my husband loved the sausage and bacon baguettes, we both loved the coffee and we shared the lovely, golden, chips. The last time we visited we ordered our usual, then went to our car in the woods to eat. Unfortunately, my double burger turned out to be a single dry burger. It wasn't the end of the world, and I dismissed it as a mistake, I didn't bother to complain. Hubby said the baguette was a little dry and the sausage and bacon were overcooked, but we just hoped it was a blip. However, we went for brunch on Sunday and were very disappointed to find that my double burger with onions was actually a fishfinger roll with watery tomato sauce. My husbands sausages were done to death and the bacon was dried out and burnt on one side. The chips and cappuccinos, as always were good though. I didn't go back to complain as a large influx of bikers had arrived and the queue was very long. I didn't want the chips and coffee to get cold. It does mean that we will not be stopping here again, and will frequent Maccy D's or Burger King instead. I know things always change, and we are very grateful that we have had many years of delicious food. We are just sad that the original owners, grumpy or not, (although both of them were fine with us) have left.

Absolutely dreadful experience at The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town. Our group of 16 arrived at the venue, but no staff were at the door for over 10 minutes, leaving us and another group of five confused about how to access the speakeasy. Once seated, things only got worse. Drinks took ages, charcuterie boards never arrived (yet we were charged), and staff shrugged off mistakes. Apparently, it takes them over an hour to prepare a cheese board. There was no communication between the kitchen and bar, and no manager on-site to address the issues. After spending over £300, we left feeling ripped off. Sent a complaint email, but no response. Avoid for group bookings, completely unreliable and dismissive.

Unfortunately I can’t even say the food was average,me and my partner had the chicken fillet with cheese but asked for bbq source instead of the original sauce, the chicken came out with no cheese on it and a thing horrible bbq sauce with mushrooms in it , the fillets chicken was plain, looked like it was fried not even chargrilled very plain, I asked for straight fry’s and got curly ones, starters were onion rings with potatoe wedges and cheese at last on them , they were average, my son had some sort of chicken which was plain too and didn’t have any taste to it, daughter had mac and cheese, if the food was like the menu looked then maybe it would have tasted great - won’t be coming back sorry
