Our server Isobel was perfect and did everything she could to make us Happy. It was very Busy for a Sunday and you could see the staff were trying to cope as best they could with the amount of tables that were in. The drinks took a little long to come out, the food arrived before the drinks did. One of the Onion loafs was cold and Isobel got it swapped over with no fuss, she did everything without hesitation. The food was lovely and everything cooked how we wanted it to be. The drinks side let the meal down abit but on the whole and good Meal. Isobel did amazing under the pressure, very professional and pleasant. Thankyou 😁

wonderful meal here! been stopping at the holiday inn for a work and have been eating in here pretty much every night! the staff are incredible - massive shout out to jaden, seb, owen and all the other front of house staff from Tarmac

Our server Andrea was so lovely, when we arrived the table that we were sat at felt like it was cramped. We asked if we could move tables and she was more than happy to accommodate. She was very welcoming and her recommendation was perfect for dinner and pudding! All three courses were amazing.

Been 2 a few miller & carters all over the country & Scotland always been amazing … & the food here was no different… the service on the other hand …. Staff stood with their back 2 the room so you had to physically go up & tap them to get service! Sat for at least 15 mins without a drink! When you are spending £100+ for 2 of you there should be better service!

It was OK bit fell short of the expectations friends and colleagues had built up for the brand which was why I booked there for a special meal with my partner. The food was OK, service was good but it was very busy and my partner and I had to raise our voices a little more than we we comfortable with in order tohave a conversation.

Ordered a simple burger as a take away.. how on earth it could have been put together with no burger, bacon or cheese is beyond me! Had to go back but overall wasn't worth thr castle, very average.

We stopped by for a quick lunch today and were genuinely impressed. We ordered the menu offer steak, and it exceeded our expectations—excellent quality and perfectly cooked. The appetizers were equally delicious and beautifully presented. Cheers to the chefs ♥️♥️♥️ thank you 🙏 A special mention to Amelie, who was absolutely delightful and incredibly patient, especially as we had our baby with us. Her service really added to the experience. The restaurant itself is elegant and has a glamorous atmosphere, so dressing up a bit feels right for the setting. We’re already looking forward to returning soon can’t wait to try the desserts next time!

Fantastic experience, when asked to switch to a quieter section they were more than happy to accommodate. Food was excellent, the set menu deal was great value. Second time I’ve eaten here, and second time I haven’t been disappointed. This time I went for the 12oz Ribeye, cooked medium rare as recommended by the young man serving. The steak was cooked to perfection and so tasty. Opted for the spicy chili and fried onion lettuce wedge….. who knew you could make lettuce so good? Finished off with the Crème Brûlée. It was amazing throughout. All the staff are lovely, and the atmosphere is perfect for me. Quiet enough and able to relax. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be visiting a third time.

Our server, Andrea, was undeniably an asset to the organisation and should be celebrated. Steak was awesome. The Cod was not that great (quite dry) and came without items not as per the menu (but quickly sorted out by the server Andrea). Atmosphere was great but there was a noisy table next to us. All in all a pleasant evening.

A real “ray” of sunshine We dined tonight at Kettering restaurant the food this visit was ok. However our waiter absolutely made our night! Funny, attentive and super friendly. Ray is a real credit to the service industry and such an incredible man !!!

Miesha was my server and exceptional lovely, and helpful. Standard Miller and Carter fare for the lunchtime special. Haven’t been to a Miller & Carter for a while after a previous visit to a different restaurant left me disappointed. This branch made me reconsider being a regular patron.

Chips were very salty where we couldn't eat them, also service was very slow waiting 20-30 minutes just order a dessert, 2 courses for 3 people and we were here over 2 hours, shame as we are regulars here, and normally receive a good service and experience.
