Ray our waiter was amazing. Very friendly, attentive and funny. Ray made the birthday meal that bit more special. It was so nice to have someone with a big personality, he really made our night. So if you are eating her ask for Ray on a Friday & Saturday! Thanks Ray

A real “ray” of sunshine We dined tonight at Kettering restaurant the food this visit was ok. However our waiter absolutely made our night! Funny, attentive and super friendly. Ray is a real credit to the service industry and such an incredible man !!!

Food was great full me up ,very nice waiters. I would 100% come here again. The waitres Andrea was the best very nice person ,funny and always smileing ,made my experience so much nicer.

Our experience was lovely. We were sat at our table swiftly and our food and drinks were everywhere so tasty and came quite promptly! The topping of it was that our waitress Andrea was absolutely amazing and engaging and made the experience even better. (Thank you for dealing with a fickle customer like me so kindly!)

Miesha was my server and exceptional lovely, and helpful. Standard Miller and Carter fare for the lunchtime special. Haven’t been to a Miller & Carter for a while after a previous visit to a different restaurant left me disappointed. This branch made me reconsider being a regular patron.

Chips were very salty where we couldn't eat them, also service was very slow waiting 20-30 minutes just order a dessert, 2 courses for 3 people and we were here over 2 hours, shame as we are regulars here, and normally receive a good service and experience.

Andrea was one of the best servers I have met - and I am 71 and an ex server!! She is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and has great taste in shoes!! She is a fantastic representative for your establishment!!

Came here for my 20th birthday and i don’t have a single complaint. Our server Eoan was amazing, he was so kind and checked in on us regularly, as i have worked in hospitality before i understand it can be difficult to manage everything at once and can get stressful, but he had a really warming approach and always had a smile. Really lovely guy. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish i ate was cooked to perfection and well presented. This was my first time coming here, and i will definitely be coming back!!

My wife and I visited Miller and Carter for the first time tonight. I think I ordered wrong as the 8oz Fillet wasn’t great, and the fries were a definite disappointment, however my wife had the 12oz sirloin and chunky chips and her meal was perfect. Eoan waited on us and was brilliant and I couldn’t fault him. Very welcoming, visited the table just the right amount of times, good conversation and took care of his area very well. Thankyou. We would happily visit again.

The service provided from Ray at Kettering Miller and Carter was 5 star. Myself and partner could see how busy this particular Friday evening was however, Ray was attentive and very friendly and nothing was too much of an ask for him. Thank you Ray for such a lovely hospitality experience.

We've been a couple of times and it's always been really nice until today. We had the lunch menu and sadly the main courses were really poor. The food must have been sitting a long while before being served as everything was cold, The butter on top of the steak didn't melt the whole meal. The steak sandwich had a tiny amount of meat in it that was well done despite asking for it pink on order. I did tell the waitress when she asked how the food was but was met with silence and so told her not to worry about it as didn't want to ruin lunch. Not sure we will go here again and left very disappointed.

Chris was exceptional tonight. Thank you for your service, luckily he made up for the very poorly cooked and presented steak. If it wasn’t for his service we wouldn’t be returning

It was very busy when we visited (thursday) with just the one waitress Andrea and what i presume was a manager.Andrea was run off her feet but remained cheerful and continued to serve with a smile.

Andrea was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and nice. Service lacked attention though, sat at the table over 10 mins with empty glasses and no one offered a top up. It felt like there was not enough staff to assist our waitress .

We recently moved to Kettering and were keen to visit this restaurant having previously loved the Hinckley venue. We booked a table for 4 having invited our friends, hoping they too would enjoy their first time at M&C. On arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff who were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. It was a Sat night and the restaurant was full and very noisy making it difficult to have a conversation. The table for 4 was too small and inadequate for the food and drinks that were served, in addition the overhead lights were ridiculously bright. Despite this I was looking forward to trying their Filet Mignon again, which is described by M&C... "as the king of steaks, thanks to its extreme tenderness and delicate flavour." On this occasion it was neither, it was fine on the outside but chewy and inedible in the middle, such a waste of a prime cut of meat! I decided not to complain as they were busy and I did not want to wait knowing that my replacement would probably arrive as everyone else would be finishing their meals. Considering the cost of our meals and wine we all agreed that we would never return as this was such a disappointment and not the enjoyable experience we had hoped for. Finally as regards the wine list which surprisingly has no prices... WHY! The London Ritz has no problem displaying their wine prices!

The place is a nice place to be eating in and the staff are really nice, good people however the price of their food is not worth the product you receive (personal opinion doesn't mean I'm right) asked for a burger and i can honestly say it wasn't worth £17.50-£18 and the drinks are expensive (again personally)

Very welcoming staff who were very attentive to anything we needed, especially Amelie our waitress. Made a wonderful evening even better with incredible food.

Millers and Carter We came to Millers and Carter on Saturday, 15/02/2025, to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the server, Andrea, made our night a night to remember for the wrong reasons. She put a downer on our experience. She was very short on patience, when asked if we could have the table light lit, we were told, “Very clipped. CAN YOU WAIT?” She was run off her feet ,literally running from table to table, and she was unable to give us her full attention as she was too busy. She verbally told us they were short-staffed and very busy after we paid our bill. When she cleared the table, we asked for clean, cutely, to be told, “That’s why I’m clearing your table.” She did have time to talk to her neighbours and give them her time. Very unimpressed with this experience, as we have frequented this establishment on many a time. We spent £172.25 for the two of us for our meal and champagne. The meal was fantastic no complaints there. Just a shame the service wasn’t up to scratch.

My wife's steak was under cooked and had to be taken back to the kitchen which meant we ate our valentine's meal separately. This made her really upset as she was looking forward to our special night out.

Amazing stake!!!! Compliments to the chef and to the staff,they are doing an amazing work and they are și professional and respectful towards customers. Miller and Carter is a restaurant wich play on a different level and you must try it!!!!
