Kfc in Kettering

Food was OK for a takeaway. The only downside was that we were able to order an ice cream but then it turns out it was out of stock... It is difficult to explain to kids so better take it off from the menu next time!!

someone really needs to have a word with the staff members, the way they speak to people and treat people is absolutely appalling. I’ve done 2.5 years in food service and I have never seen or given that sort of customer service to someone, the staff are slow, constantly forget your food and don’t even give you napkins, sauces or cutlery!! for such an extortionate price you’d expect the people making and giving you you’re food to be a bit politer, quicker and understand what to serve with food🙄. Terrible atmosphere in there, staff all walk around looking confused and miserable - let’s kfc down really.

We had food poisoning! Only food I had ate all day! My partner suffered upset but not as bad as myself and was bad for 4 days after

You wait in the drive-through for 10 minutes or more then by the time you get to place your order the speaker is so old that you shout so loud they can probably hear you inside anyway. (The speaker sometimes has a sticker on to say it's broken). Never have they gotten our order correct. So we are now forced to open our order still in the drive-through and let the poor people behind us wait even longer for their turn just to make sure our order is right. The building outside needs a desperate update and the inside looks just as bad. I think if the food inspector goes to check on this KFC they will not make it. The staff is in no rush and we have now stopped going to them which is a shame as our family would go at least 2 or more times a week to now having to drive 30 minutes away to get our food order correct. So we just changed and now go to get food at other fast food restaurants that are close by.

The app was not successful but spoke to the person on register, very helpful and even suggested a better deal for what we wanted, male toilets where out of order but the disabled where open although the eme pull cord was tucked behind which is against the law it has to be accessable. The food came out hot and relatively quick the restaurant was clean and tidy and there's ample parking which is located next to a cinema

Was horrible before but must've been under new management because went again and now it's amazing, near best kfc I've ever eaten

Not a very good KFC in general. Staff are borderline rude with the customers that come in and are busy chatting all jokes and smiles with the just eat couriers. Waited a bit to take my order. Didn’t actually get what I ordered. Had to pay extra for a bit of sauce and the Lipton had zero flavour, and half a cup of ice. No lemon wipes available. Place could use a mop and a wipe down. This is the only one for a fair distance so they take advantage of their patrons like me today - and it’s more of a delivery service now. Easy to see why as it’s harder to complain once they have thrown your order, with the wrong stuff, in a bag. Lots of neon lights and marketing. Poor service and poor food and drink.

Ordered 2 mini fillets after the cinema and both had no chicken fillet inside just bread and lettuce.... only realised this once we had got home.

Awful. Tills faulty,ages to get served, staff got order wrong, chips luke warm and very dry. Really disappointing and nearly £17 for two low quality meals

Fed up with this. Always having issues when ordering from this KFC specifically. Ordered a gravy bucket not long ago, got home and there was no gravy in sight.. just ordered a dipping bucket that was supposed to have 8 fillets but instead had 8 original recipe… if something isn’t available it takes two seconds to call and ask what they can replace it with.. not to mention it was 30 minutes late too 🙄 disappointing

Ordered using the app, unfortunately I ordered it to Wellingborough and checked in, anyhow after calling them and letting them know I was coming to collect, they agreed to put a hold on the order, when I got there they even made me a fresh wrap which they didn’t have to do. 10/10 for communication and customer service, thanks KFC Kettering.

Very disappointed we ordered two of the kayaki burgers and a side of the bbq bites , 2.79 for 4 bits of chicken very disappointed, burger was not very well presented the fries were just soft rubbish , £ 20 quid won't be going back

Very slow half n hour in the drive thru for a boneless meal and 12 pc meal then for half to be cold so had to go in and complain and get it all replaced terrible customer service no thank you,sorry you waited so long nothing very poor

I never know were to stand with KFC. I like most of their food. Some of it is really good, the twister wrap, for example, the only thing wrong with that is its not big enough. My main issue with KFC is the service. Let me clarify here, it's not awful. The people are nice enough, but everything takes them an eternity. Everyone works at a glacial pace.

No friendliness from staff, no eye contact, no smile, no thank you. Order was wrong, but the language problem meant that I gave up on trying to put it right, so just paid up, sat down and ate it. Won’t be going back.

Quick service & clean. Not busy when I arrived at 2pm. No lettuce available for zinger but it was pointed out prior to order. Uninspired good, plain but as described. Chips were nice, and hot.

I recently went to KFC kettering & ordered at the drive through, got home food was missing, complained via kfc head office, they kindly gave me a voucher towards another meal. Last night I went in store to order as the drive through was backed up, inside 3 uber eats drivers were at counter, they were not acknowledged, I stood for 15 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged, in that time no one was served. This branch of KFC NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT, it is failing you and your reputation. You are not welcomed, the food is poor, most staff have difficulty speaking English, this branch should thrive being next to the cinema. That was my last visit!

Went to the drive through at 10:30pm on Friday 16th of June and the guy was incredibly accommodating. Very friendly and amazing food for what it is :)

Arguably one of the worst KFCs in the UK. Very poor management. Unclean, food not cooked properly, long waiting times. What is going on here, it's a shame because it's the only one in Kettering.

I ordered food on the app here and once i gave them my number they said that they couldn't give it to me until i paid again, when my carer told me this i was beyond shocked. Worst kfc ever!

Service at drive through is very slow. One of the worst I've been to and I've been to a few all over the UK. Food a bit oily more than others I've been to Overall 3 out of 5 stars KFC

Place was absolutely filthy! Not a single table was clean. Had to get a napkin to just clear 1 table. Food and rubbish absolutely everywhere. Bins were over flowing to the point where people had just placed rubbish in front of the bins. When eventually someone came round to clean away some of the rubbish he stood chatting to his friend instead of clearing the tables with his airpods in. The was Girl behind the counter was on her own and didn't seem to know where anything was or what went with which meal despite clearly trying her best she was evidently inexperienced and needed some support. Food took probably 15 mins+ and given we were the only people waiting with the exception of several uber drivers service was slow. Service to the customers in store didnt seem to be a priority. If we hadn't already paid, we'd have left. Half the branch taken up by Uber drivers just loitering about chatting. Standard KFC food taste. Genuinely have been to ALOT of KFC branches and without a doubt this was by far the most dirty. Won't return.

Very stinky toilets no hand wash either. Waited over 10 mins to be served no one was serving in the restaurant! Asked and was told they were serving the drive through! Don't care attitude of staff. So left!!! Dreadfull Update....went here about 3weeks ago really scruffy...lots of litter and paper in foyer. Waited behind a couple would have waited ages to be served. Ordered food and wanted a latte coffee....NO HOT DRINKS.....what is all that about? Really poor quality food served with attitude ....

Absolutely disgusting. Undercooked chicken, red raw inside. Actually run out of chicken sometimes. No hot drinks!!!! What sort of fast food restaurant does not do hot drinks?? Staff abysmal. Never supply a spoon for beans so I have to drink it out of its tub. This place is so bad that there is a group on Facebook calling for it to be closed down. That tells you all you need to know about this place. Do not go here if your health matters.

No customers and still managed to get our order wrong.

Absolutely useless. Had 2 separate orders. First order almost handed too me instant. Second order was a copy off the first one so Completely wrong no burgers in there. And took almost 30mins for them too make the second. First order was cold!

Under staffed and over worked, I was working and stopped in, I was shocked to see delivery drivers litraly leaning over the counter to get the staffs attention to get the order, This caused further delays and there was obviously not enough cooks and servers who know what to do, Managers need to hire more staff and give more training, Staff themselves were doing there best,

Despite ordering and paying on the app, they clearly prioritise the likes of Uber Eats etc. My order apparently dropped off the screen and I had to show my order on my phone for it to be located. Took half an hour for me to collect my order. The place is chaotic and overflowing with delivery drivers. Won't be going back.

Giving the one star because nobody answers the phone when they f&@k up your order,I ordered a fillet burger no mayo and got a zinger my son had FA to eat apart from a roll and lettuce and a corn on the cob

Always stop there for a quick bite

The food is the usual KFC quality, the staff taking the order were just leaving our drinks on top of the counter, not even bothering telling people that their drinks were ready, and they did the same for the food, was never asked if we wanted any ketchup or a fork, there was no station that one could get things themselves and its only due to the man cleaning up that we got some help. It was clean but cold and the parking was plentiful.

I ordered a Kentucky fried chicken meal after travelling home from the isle of white it was a very long and stressful journey. I thought I would order a meal and it was stone cold

The gravy pot rim had crusty gravy particles and the gravy was congealed and to top it off gone off😂was given the wrong wrap that was on the order and couldn’t exchange due to confusion on the staffs end. Also when ordering was just stared at for a good 5 minutes while they stood in front of us very strange experience food quality has taken a deep dive and will not be eating here again. Ludicrous

Been there twice in a week, takes ages to be served, service is very poor, I have been given the wrong meal twice. How can you confuse a mega box and a boneless banquet, the boxes alone are completely different sizes. I’ve paid £15 and received £10’a worth of food. Never had such a bad experience with a fast food place in my life. Find the nearest KFC away from this one.

This restaurant constantly misses products off your order. Party Bucket purchased as usual and instead of the usual Popcorn Chicken being missed off it was the Hot Wings this time.. WARNING check your order before you leave site! The manager doesn't care.. KFC remove the franchise from your brand ASAP

Terrible service!!! Kids wanted KFC never even got to order. Waited ages at the box at the drive through, got ignored. Went to the window to order waited ages again and then they refused to serve us as there were 2 cars behind us. Will rather drive 20 min to Corby in future I know their service was good and the stsff actually do work there.

Long wait for food ... cold when it arrived

This time our meal was Missing a portion of popcorn chicken and a corn on the cob. Last visit it was two portions of chips missing and one of the meal deals was entered as individual items which they charged as £2 more than the meal that was ordered. I spotted the overcharging before collecting the order and got nowhere with the "manageress". No apology and no refund. The time before that it was missing a portion of chips and a fillet burger and had beans thrown in upside down and leaked all over the whole meal. All of the missing items were itemized on the receipts and paid for each time. Each time I didn't realise until I had got home. I can't believe it is just a coincidence and I would reccomend every customer to carefully check the receipt for overcharging, empty the brown bag on the counter and check all items are present and correct before leaving the shop. Terrible service. Deserves less than one star. Incompetence at best, criminality at worst.

Food was good but the wait was about 40 minutes

Visit on evening of 24th September - car queue not moving at all, entered branch to buy at counter, stood for 15 minutes without me or any other customer being acknowledged by the staff UNLESS a deliveroo or similar driver. It was like the counter staff were there exclusively for them and any other customer was totally ignored, if not regarded as an inconvenience. Complete shambles, not one iota of knowledge of customer service, will not return and would advise others to find an alternative.

Really gone down hill the last couple of years. Seems prices go up and portion sizes down every time I visit! The last burger had chicken the thickness is a slice of ham! Time to find a new pit stop!

Why it us always pink and looks raw. Never enough staff to help. They forget your side orders. Won't return.

Chicken not cooked properly. Chicken breast fillet very salty. Family bucket was full of oil leaking everywhere. Very low coast tissue. This shop need to close down soon or take necessary action. Waste of money, didn’t eat at all.

Has now taken the title of worst KFC in Northamptonshire from the one in Kingsthorpe. Waiting times are ridiculous. Staff uninterested. Drive through or counter equally poor.

Went in in the evening. Staff were messing around and after waiting for 5 minutes, we were informed by the girl with the headset that we couldnt order in the restaurant (with dirty toilets and overflowing bins), that we had to get back in the car and drive round to the window and tell her through the window what we wanted! She looked confused and bewildered at the suggestion that we could just tell her as we were currently standing in front of her. Anyway, she insisted. So we went out drove round, ordered and collected the food which included 12 dry, lukewarm chips, no salt and no napkins. They also can't operate the hot drinks machine in the evening, as we weren't allowed to order a cup of tea. Would we go again? Only if there was a Zombie Apocalypse

Ridiculously slow drive through. Maybe I picked a bad night, but the queue of cars wasn't that long and by the time I left I'd been there nearly half an hour...

Worse KFC ever! Not only did they again miss off part of my order the quality of the food very very poor, greasy, old looking meat not fit to eat, my 10 year old daughter was eating hers on the way home in the car, and 4 hours later was physically throwing up (she’s never sick!) but she only had this to eat. To the people who look after the quality of the KFC franchise - look at the reviews, take some action, or close it down. It’s a health risk and a damage to the reputation of the brand. To the public - Don’t use this KFC resultant.

I found the chicken to be tasty but very greasy from this franchise however staff appeared to be friendly and the place wasn’t too busy either. I’d probably return if I was in the area again and needed to grab something to eat.

If I could give no stars I would. We made a big order which they said they had sent in two halves and that the second half was on its way. 45 minutes later and it’s still not here. They say they don’t issue refunds so they’re rip off merchants who are happy to take the order and not deliver. Disgusting service

I have order at least 15 times the last couple of years and the order is wrong most of the time. Last week the have forgotten the corn on the cob. The member of stuff some time are good but sometime are rude and they want you to give the order as fast as you can

Possibly the worst KFC experience ever. The food was vile. Chicken was soggy and covered in grease the gravy was brown water and the gravy pot was thrown in the bag resulting in leaking all over the whole meal. Avoid this shop.

This neglected place needs shutting down, just look at all the bad reviews, empty Kentucky boxes all over the car park, i saw 2 rats run round the side of the building when i went in, that should have been enough to put me off really, went for a wee before ordering food nearly slipped over on big puddle of pee around the urinals. (video'd to show my friends) Went and stood at the front counter right in the middle to order food, waited 10 minutes, no one served us, a customer walked in behind us & went to side of the counter got served straight away. So we walked out and went to the Pizza Hut down the road.
