Ordered at 10:25pm on the just eat app and it said it would be here at 11:45, after that it kept going up and up and up till around 0020-00:40 almost 3 hours is disgusting, I even rang up and said where is my food at around 11:30 and they said “we’re waiting for our driver and we will call him in 2 mins” never responded and time kept going up. Tried to call back and they didn’t pick up and never got my food. It’s now 00:39.

Good tasting food, initially friendly when walking in but we lost count how many times they asked our table of if we wanted drinks. We were seated upstairs One of the staff was constantly pacing back and forward past our table, it happened so many times. As soon as a drink was finished he jumped on it and asked if we wanted another. I have waited and worked in a pub in the past . This is poor etiquette. I don't know if they're struggling for money but you need to stop pestering /hovering around with customers as it's not relaxing. Not sure I will return after this service.

We were looked after by Andrea who went the extra mile to ensure that we were well catered for. She was very helpful when arranging a custom order for my wife and ensured she was totally satisfied with the outcome. Andrea was personable, polite, professional and a good ambassador for not only the restaurant, but the brand overall. The only negative I experienced was that my lobster on the surf and turf was slightly overdone, however, that said, my fillet steak was cooked perfectly and exactly how I like it. One observation for the management team would be that the serving team were understaffed during our visit meaning disproportionate coverage for diners. The knock on effect is that guests were impacted by having to wait longer for assistance leaving Andrea and others to literally run around trying to maintain an adequate level of service. It’s not fair on them and unreasonable for management to expect them to be put in this position, particularly when they tend to be the ones on the receiving end of customer complaints. Thank you Andrea for taking care of us- you’re a real asset to the Kettering restaurant and I hope management realise this.
