Top night, kids loved their meals & the staff were very friendly

Great food, served very fast. The waiter we had went over the top to deliver us the best experience possible

When here on a Saturday early evening. Was busy but not full and had a great atmosphere. We sat on the high tables in on the right. The waiter was really attentive and helpful. We ordered light as it was an early dinner. My daughter said the traffalo chicken (starter) was the best chicken she’s ever eaten. My chicken Caesar salad was really good and good value. All the food was awesome. Only problem with this place is that according to the waiter the place is closing/changing to a Thai restaurant in the next. Purple of months. So I’ve got to rush back with my daughter sooner rather than later. Such a shame I didn’t go more often. Food was awesome and I want to try more. Great place.

Food was meh and did not measure up to the price. Service wasn’t very good either..almost as of the service crew were not happy to work there. Every time we tried to get someone’s attention, they purposely will not make eye contact and just ignore us. The only good thing was the look of the restaurant.

Food for five of us came out not very hot so it was sent back. When new orders received the salad in Berger's was very lip. When the bill was presented we had been charged double for the Berger's. Not very professional.

Never been before loved the design but menu is very confusing. Everything is priced separately which then makes an expensive meal. No ambience at all.

Food was mediocre. I was really disappointed with the burger at almost £16 for a burger, not including sides. I was expecting a real mince patty and not a factory pressed one. The smokey burger came with he smoke which smelt of kerosene. Not good.

I heard this place was good so we decided to try it. We went on Saturday around 2:30pm and ordered the steak and chips. Quite expensive but we definitely got food poison from this place.

Seems like firejacks was a better place in the past and was doing a lot better before COVID. First time being here the atmosphere didn't look as good as they did from their Instagram posts. The kitchen and grill was all open to see through some nice glass. The person on the grill looked like Tommy Fury The truffalo burger was a 8.5/10 for me. Nice crispy soft chicken with the perfect amount of sauce. the flavours and the amount of spice was perfect for me, really enjoyed it. The oreo cheesecake was really disappointing, I still ate it but it was so bland and rubbery. The biscuit base was just mush, the cheese part was like mousse. After giving some constructive feedback to the waiter they stated that it was a regular complaint from customers about the cheesecake as they out source the desserts and the people higher up refuse to change anything, sad really. The waiter then continued to let out what it seems like a lot of built up frustration for the company which seem to be declining in customers and customers satisfaction with food quality This place needs a little more help to keep the one and last firejacks left in the UK. To the people in charge of firejacks, please do better and invest a little more in something that can be amazing

Although the name just screams Ribs, this place is so much more, including veggie options. Great food and fantastic staff. The manager is very attentive and friendly. Will go again!

Food was very average, £20 for just the steak (had better) and then you have to start adding side £££. Not that Impressed

We have been twice in the last few months as have been disappointed both times. The first time we sat waiting nearly an hour before we got our food, they had to rush our order as it had been forgotten. The second time we were sat for 40 mins before we got our order taken, then just as long for the food. The chicken skewers were horrible, the meat was the brown meat and just were chewy and bland. The steak burger was not very nice, the kids meal options were awful. Such a shame as it was great when it first opened.

Lovely restaurant with a good variety of food and drinks. Went as a family and all our food was as we requested. Cocktails are really nice here too.

We came here for an early dinner on Saturday, we had starters, mains and drinks. The food was overall very good, my partner nearly cried at how hot the scotch bonnet jam was! 😅 the burgers were lovely but the onion rings were very overdone and the chips were a bit bland. The portions are generous for the price. The service was faultless, very quick and attentive. The atmosphere was ok but very loud and could be cosier. Will definitely go again, perhaps the burnt onion rings was a one off!

We went for lunch at fire jacks & we parked our car right outside the front door,had a table booked so we had a booth,ordered quickly & got our food & drinks & the food was outstanding,only had a main meal but didn't have a starter or a dessert.too full but it was quite expensive but you won't leave hungry.you will not be disappointed,everything was perfect,food was got a great choice of sauces & ppl lenty of choices of food,I will definitely go there again, highly recommended

Very poor food - starter served with a cold sauce and rump steak served cold, vegan burgers were wet and tasteless - over all a very poor menu for £105.00 - wont be returning again.

Very quiet when we visited on Thursday around 3.30pm,the 2nd time we have been hete for a Fillet steak,Ribeye and thought we would try the Ribs,so got half a rack.

Service was shocking. No check backs at all from server (rim) Seemed gobsmacked that we only wanted a starter and main between us! Pointed rudely over to where the sauces were as I couldn't see them from where i was. Burger was a bit on the dry side and server doesn't smile and had bad body language as shoulders were sloched all evening.

Went for a leaving do. The service was quite slow. Didn't have any food.

We attended without having booked and we were planning to eat a steak and a salad before the cinema. We have been seated immediately and after few minutes we have been able to order. After 1 hour our orders were not ready and when we checked other customers who arrived later than us were instead served before us. The manager cancelled our order but before us asking we were kept waiting without any information. We have been left without dinner and late for the cinema. The manager cancelled our order and kindly did not charge the drinks nonetheless it was a very poor and disappointing service.

The biggest con in Stevenage £15, for just a burger and no extras either unless you count the sauces

Food was good and rwasonably priced. Service fine. We were on raised tables , would have been more relaxing in booths.

The food here is nice. Nothing amazing. I find it really annoying how when you buy your meal you have to buy your sides like chips, rice etc separate. A burger can cost up to £16 and you don't get the fries with it.

Pleasant restaurant with easy booking and fast service.

Great visit. It’s being a long time since we have been but it was well worth the wait. Steak was melt in the mouth and Veggie burger was excellent apparently (not for me). Well worth a visit. You would pay the same if not more for fast mediocre food in other restaurants close by.

It was a Monday evening and quite busy but me and my girlfriend had decided to eat there for her birthday meal, despite there only being 2 staff they were doing a very good job of managing each table ,they were both excellent and very polite I wish I would’ve gotten their names for this post but unfortunately I didn’t, the service was amazing and the timings were perfect and both the ladies who served us were very friendly, the sauce bar perfect for any sauce lovers out there and the menu was a very nice range of American style comfort food and each dish was delicious and it was a real pleasure as they brought my girlfriend an ice cream with a candle in it to celebrate for her which was a delightful finishing touch. Will definitely be returning 👍🏾

Very friendly staff, but food selection was very limited and the burger which I had was very dry.

The food was a real let down unfortunately. Arrived to be told no fries left and were also running out of beef patties for burgers. For a restaurant that pretty much focuses on burgers and fries, this seems crazy. The burgers we had were average at best and it’s incredibly overpriced for what they are, especially considering you only get the burger and if you want fries you have to pay extra. Seeing a burger at that price, served up on a tea plate, was disappointing. Mac n cheese was poor. Service wasn’t great, wasn’t asked if meal was ok. Sat near kitchen and all we could hear was the chef screaming at staff. Food took ages and then rushed at end to pay bill, no offer of dessert menu. Such a let down for New Year’s Eve. We won’t be going back.

Served a burnt black disk as a burger, absolutely disgusting. They re did it which took 20 mins and it was just about edible but still burnt. The manager did a poor job of pretending to care and said she would ‘look’ at my bill but she did not. I paid full price and left said I’d never be returning. Still have a stomach ache several hours later. Just go to five guys if you want a decent burger this place is terrible.

Pretty underwhelmed with a visit here last night, the starter mango chilli prawns was cold and tasted pretty rank, asking the very helpful waiter he said the dish was supposed to be hot, we did get this knocked off the bill, the truffle burger was ok but having to order chips separately …really ?? To sum up great service, nice looking place …under whelmed by the food

I really enjoyed my food but the other 2 people I came with said that their food was cold. The manager was quick to give us 20% off for that reason. Service was excellent so was everything else.

A friend and I went to the restaurant be Believing we would get a good quality meal. Oh, how we was wrong. We ordered the 6 ounce steak, but was informed that it doesn’t actually come With chips and this had to be ordered separately. When the streak come it was tiny and on its own no other salads come with it and the chips were your ordinary skinless fries. In All, we have the steak chips and a soft drink and this come to £19.00 normally I wouldn’t have a problem with this, but the lack of food did not warrant the price. Service was okay and atmosphere seemed dead. Wouldn’t recommend no, will I be returning there.

We just did a walk in but we were accommodated immediately, staff at the door was very friendly. Big place with lots of seats, place was very cozy and they have a sauce bar where you can choose which ones suits your taste. They have kid's menu as well. I was really impressed with how fast the food was served, it was just a few minutes and there it was. Burger was okayish but steak, chicken bites and chips were really good, loved it. They have drink options as well.

Seriously! Full rack of ribs served with not even a mouth full of coleslaw its very poor!! Staff must be blind or stupid not to see this! So angry about this!

This is a massive shout but it's probably the best burger Ive ever eaten. Absolutely Class. Got the smokey burger, for sides I got fried with cheddar cheese, jalapeno and guacamole which was also amazing. Selection of sauses was brilliant. Very reasonably priced too. Top Class, highly recommend.

I spoke to a friend who highly recommended Firejacks, especially the steaks -he'd had the 16oz rump. I thank him for that from the bottom of my heart. I went with some members of my family and I ordered the ribeye and from the very first bite, my taste buds exploded. And I can say that the same is true for each and every bite after that. Another member of my party had a chicken burger which again was excellent. The next day, I met my friend, and we both were drooling just talking about the experience.

First time here and felt very welcomed, staff are pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious and the drinks 10/10!

Food truly awful! Must say the staff were friendly enough and it’s reasonably clean but the standard of food has is dire. I had the chicken rotisserie which was just outright bad. My advice, give it a miss and go next door to Nando’s, wish I had.

What a underwhelming experience! We came here as we loved the american diner feel the place gave, upon looking at the menu it seemed promising and i got a burger and my partner got a steak, we also got chicken wings to share. Both the burger and steak were quite expensive so we expected to eat a nice meal. My burger was just fine, Nothing special and especially not great for the price. The steak was burnt and super dry despite my partner asking for medium and tasted old. in fact all the food tasted old. Very sad about my experience.

Very nice restaurant. the staff are very friendly, the menu is simple and easy to understand and they have a great selected of burgers, steaks and chicken available. Price was quite good and they have a excellent range of sauces available. I would happily eat here again

My burger was cold and although you don't really want to wait for another to be prepared I wouldn't of enjoyed it. My partner said hers was lukewarm but didn't want to wait and so mine arrived when she finished. We ordered another drink but when no show 15 mins later we gave up as needed to get to cinema. The food is average and at £17 for burger & chips it should be good? Will not waste money at Firejacks again.

Visiting Stevenage for the first time. Researched a place to eat. FireJacks serve the most amazing steak l have ever had the pleasure. A very warm welcome from 'Chris' who recommended the steak. He was not wrong. I had the most amazing ribeye l've ever tasted. 'BIG SAM' the chef spoke about his cuisine with a passion and was keen to impart his knowledge of Florida BBQ. Man this guy knows his stuff. THANK YOU! Oh and also a big thank you to Berat our very friendly and attentive waiter! You ALL deserve to succeed.

Our first time here, such a lovely airy and bright restaurant. The staff were very attentive and the food was presented well and really hot and tasty. We will be going back, such a great place.

We have been to Firejacks many times, and always thoroughly enjoyed everything we have had. So it was very disappointing that today the experience fell far short. No waffle fries, a really poor steak (chewy and lacking any flavour), a chicken special ordered with truffle sauce but came with a pretty spicy pepper based sauce that we checked with staff and were told that’s correct. No garnish with the steak like it used it. Cheese sauce on the fries that again seemed more a pepper sauce. Could be a bad day, or a sign that quality has taken a dive. Shame as this is now no longer on our ‘go to’ restaurant list given the extensive options available locally,

After 10 pin bowling i was looking forward to our meal. We were welcomed by Paige a cheerful bright waitress. From the moment we entered the building we knew it was going to be a fabulous meal. 4 of us ordered different drinks and different meals. Paige recommended a chicken burger with a buffalo sauce. Followed by a vegan pudding with ice cream. I must say if you like hot then this is your choice. The meal was fantastic and the service was second to none. Paige, our waitress was fantastic, 6 drinks, 4 meals, 2 puddings for under £100, brilliant.

Booked a table on the recommendation of my grandson after a great day out in Brighton. Very busy even though it was a Wednesday so that’s a good sign. I had chicken paprika and my wife the grilled tuna. Both excellent. Grandsons had burgers which they said were very tasty. Limited dessert menu.

Had the fillet steak and skin on chips which were divine! Steak cooked to perfection. Decent selection of beers and cocktails. Staff very friendly and attentive (shout out to Chris our server who was great! They also have a sauce station with loads of different sauces to choose from. Decently priced too

Honestly, the worst place I’ve ever been for food. Waited 35 mins for mains at 2pm on a Thursday when there were a handful of customers… 6 max. When food did come, there was no apology for the wait, no nothing. One dish was burnt, couldn’t even make out what it was and the other stone cold. We sent food back and they said we can make you something else. Definitely not, after waiting for 35 mins! Only giving it 1 star as there’s no option for 0 Do not go here, it’s overpriced and food is shockingly awful
