Smokeys in Ealing

I have ordered from Smokeys before and other than the rubbish delivery from Uber the food has been great. Oh dear not tonight Uber were their usual incompetent selves but the worst thing was my greatly anticipated beef burger turned out to be lamb!!!!! I so look forward to the occasional delivery treat but I now give up, never again. Trying to find a way of complaining virtually impossible. Thanks for ruining my Saturday night.

Recibimos una entrega anoche y pedimos 2 X papas fritas, Bandit Chicken Burger y Epic Cheeseburger.Porción generosa de patatas fritas y sabroso también.Las hamburguesas eran las mejores que he probado en un restaurante / lugar de comida para llevar de este tipo.Buen valor para el dinero. La hamburguesa de pollo Bandit era excepcional con sabor y rellenos.Definitivamente volveremos a comprar desde aquí.Encantado de haberlo descubierto.

Nunca había notado a Smokey's antes de que ansiara una hamburguesa, así que entré y pedí una hamburguesa y papas fritas picantes y esperé mientras se hacía la comida (pagué con tarjeta y no recibí un recibo). Me dijeron que tomaría 10 minutos.Mientras esperaba, un miembro del personal femenino le lamió la mano para quitarse un poco de batido u otra bebida fría que estaba poniendo en una bolsa para llevar. Momentos después se lamió dos de sus dedos y continuó empacando la bolsa para llevar, puso un par de pajitas en la bolsa que no estaban envueltas. Luego se pasó la nariz por el dorso de la mano y procedió a mover los bollos de hamburguesa de una bolsa de plástico a un recipiente de plástico. Ella no llevaba guantes durante todo esto, pero entiendo que no es obligatorio cuando se manejan alimentos.Le pregunté a la chica que me estaba sirviendo si esta otra chica era una nueva empleada y si había recibido algún entrenamiento y ella dijo que estaba en entrenamiento. Le dije que no quería que manipulara mi comida y le dije que se había lamido los dedos, etc. Me agradeció por decirle esto, pero no hizo nada de inmediato. Después de unos minutos se acercó y le susurró a la "nueva" niña, claramente sobre lo que había dicho, ambos se rieron y luego la nueva niña fue y se lavó la mano y desapareció por la espalda. Ella no regresó mientras esperaba mi comida.Esta fue mi primera visita a Smokeys y será la última. Cuando llegué a casa encontré que las papas fritas eran normales y no las picantes que había pedido / pagado. Traté de llamar al restaurante porque había recogido un volante y metido en mi bolso antes de ver los horrores de la higiene alimentaria, pero nadie respondió. Tengo que admitir que intenté comer mi hamburguesa y papas fritas pero me sentí bastante enfermo después de lo que había visto durante la preparación de la comida, así que terminé tirando la mayor parte.Mencioné que he enviado una queja por escrito al departamento local de normas alimentarias para investigar.

The food is very clean and of High quality. Staff are very friendly and would definitely recommend..

Started eating from here the day it opened and was amazed at the quality of chicken, the wraps, burgers, chips everything. As time has gone on it has taken a massive nose dive. I’ve earned about £40-50 maybe more with points and every time I go in the ‘machine’ isn’t working so I have to pay and can’t claim my points. The service has got worse and worse, in the phone they are terrible to a point where they just answer it and leave you on the line. It took them over 5 minutes just for me to pay the other week. The chicken has got smaller, the wings are smaller, the burgers are so small they look anaemic compared to the bun. I’ve have gone from eating here 1-2 times a week including all my house mates to I never want to ever go back in there again. Sort out the management and quality and get it back on track. Poor
