Had a table booked for 4 people. Turned up the restaurant was going under some sort of decor. Did not have the decency to ring and tell us they were not open. Even now on the website it is still saying they are open.

I visited this restaurant last might with my family after reading great reviews only to find I would add another. The food was well presented and tasted amazing. The waiting staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant to others who enjoy Indian cuisine. The food is the shining star at this restaurant. A beautiful Massala curry with prawns, accompanied by some tasty tandoori lamb chops. Service was a bit hit n miss, but it did its job. The food did take a while but I wasn’t in a rush. If I was in the area again, I’d definitely return for a great curry.

Really nice food. Attentive staff Probably went there on a bad night, as was sat by the door on a horrendous evening with the wind and lashing rain beside us and the door opening regularly. Unable to hear my partner due to the noise opposite from a birthday party.Complimentry crackers and dips were good as was the mixed grill and chicken biryani.Staff looked slightly overwhelmed by the fact it was so busy and in trying to be helpful pouring my peroni,most of it went on the table.However,its obviously only recently opened and the management will definitely learn from feedback like this.Potentail is there for a nice dining experience as the actual food and service were of a high standard.

3.5 stars rounded up! Got complementary poppadoms, chutneys were tasty. We are Indian and found the butter chicken and chilli paneer to be a little bit on the sweeter side but flavourful. Garlic naan was good too. Portion sizes were good enough for 2 people. We didn’t get it, but the table next to us ordered a mixed grill, and it smelled really good! Service was nice. Overall decent, but will have to come back and see if they can adjust the meal to suit our palate.

Very professional place , freindly staff and good location near Ealing Broadway station. The menu offered a extensive variety of starters / mains for vegetarian and non vegetarian. The restaurant set up was very tidy and table was positioned well. Definitely my top three restaurants in Ealing.

I did a take away, staff friendly, polite paneer was good, lamb good, but channa a bit undercooked!! Bit disappointing. This is a only Indian restaurant after Madhu’s they need a bit of attention.

Fantastic service at Mela, the waitresses are so sweet and hospitable. Poppadoms on the house were a nice touch. For starters we had onion bahji’s which were delicious and samosas which I felt could have done with a thinner pastry. For mains we had chicken madras, saag paneer and the goan prawn curry with pilau rice and garlic naan. Everything was delicious except the saag paneer which I’m am sad to say disappointed me a little. Overall a great experience for my birthday dinner!

Lovely little place. Service was impeccable. Great quality food. I always judge a curry on whether it upsets the stomach in any way and there was not even a murmur of a gurgle after eating here. Butter Chicken, Keema Naan, Pilau Rice and Chicken Tikka Massala. Stayed in Ealing twice now and would stay there again just to eat here!

Was decent. I wouldn't really call it fine dining. Pretty standard restaurant with ok service. Long waiting times between starters and mains over an hour, everyone was getting hungry. Would i come again ? Probably not.

We had mums 70th birthday meal here for a group of 14. Prior to the day, Shiya handled my booking very attentively and advised that bringing a cake would be okay. Poppadoms were served prior to us ordering the starters. The starters ordered were very nice, both vegetarian and meat dishes. Waited a bit of time between courses as some guests did ask how long it was going to be. This could have been due to the size of the booking and dishes ordered. I would recommend a bit more attentiveness to larger bookings. The mains were also very nice and tasted fresh, with flavour. Wines, beer, and cocktails served. All in all, it's a nice restaurant in the heart of Eailing. Good vegetarian and seafood options on the menu. Shiya who is front of the house, was very nice and very keen to make her diners feel welcome.

Nice, very nice actually. The food was really good although a little bit too spicy for us; we still ate it because it was really good. Service was very good, we couldn't fault it at all. The atmosphere was just too busy for me to deal with. I have very bad tinnitus and the place was just too noisy for me. Overall, it was very good and we will possibly go back there next time we're in the area. However, it was a little bit too expensive compared to other Indian restaurants we have been to so we won't be rushing back there. Overall score: 8 out of 10.

We went to Mela restaurant on valentine's day for the first time ,we were amazed by the quality of food and service. Each dish tasted so delicious and unique. Staff putting extra effort to serve customers with respect. I highly recommend this Restaurant. We definitely go back very soon. Louise

friendly and courteous staff, ambience is nice but not outstanding, unfortunately the food was far too spicy, almost inedible. In return there was a dessert for free. Unfortunately, vegetables in the “mix vegetables dish” are a bit rubbery and not fresh.

I‘m normally Not the Kind of Person to do many reviews but I Need to do one for Mela Restaurant! We were looking for a Restaurant pretty spontaneous and just thought Why not trying the Mela restaurant? And I never looked back. It‘s the best Indian restaurant where I ever was! The food was amazing also for the price of 70£ having 2 forecast, 2 main courses, 3 drinks you can really Not say much. The staff was amazingly kind and attentive as well. I can just say Thank you to the whole team and I will surely come back when I will be un London again!

Been coming back to the UK for 12 years and end up drawn back to Milton Keynes normally. We fell ill on this trip so ended up eating local. I will not be going back to Milton keynes again for Indian food. I had the chicken jalfrezi my with the chicken tikka masala both with the perfect heat to not blow the roof of your mouth of and leave you wanting more. I also got the lamb chops (always have enough food for the next day) they were equally as tasty. Lovely people and in the right place for when we stay in ealing next year.

The papri chaat was stale and almost inedible. Mix grill was ok but meat tasted a little off. Main course was ok but I've had better for cheaper the price. Naan breads were good. I eat Indian food regularly and wouldn't visit this place again. The waiter was telling us the chef has lots of experience but didn't seem like it from the food he made! Service was good and staff were friendly and helpful

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is absolutely amazing, the place is beautiful, very convenient close to the station, great service. And they have an extensive vegan menu, I love this place!

Loved the aubergine masala and Peshawari naan. All the dishes we ordered came with good portions and were not very spicy except the jackfruit and mushroom biryani. Even the kids enjoyed it. There was a large selection of vegetarian menu. The service was great and the staff were friendly. Very accommodating and helpful to things we asked for. Parking is a bit of a trouble. There is road side parking and it is free after 7pm. But quite hard to get a spot though.

We booked Mela restaurant for a staff Christmas party. They were very accommodating and opened the restaurant earlier than usual for us. They also accepted my request to serve the lunch menu at 4pm - normally they serve that between 12 - 2. The staff are very friendly and the food tasted nice. All of my colleagues enjoyed their food too. The lunch menu is really good value for money - 2 courses for £10, 3 courses for £11.

So glad I found this fine dining restaurant in Ealing. Food was delicious, top quality. I really appreciated that they prepared a special curry for me (butter paneer) without onions and garlic. It was the tastiest curry I have ever had and I am indian! All dishes were prepared with the right blend of good quality spices. It was an excellent experience. I will go back or order from this restaurant again for sure.

Had a takeaway dinner for two last night. Ordered over the phone as the website is not up and running. Staff was courteous and the ordering process went without any issues. The good - bhindi rani was excellent, gulab jamun was great - tasted like home-made jamun rather than store bought ones. Not so good - parathaas has stones in it - could've been from the tandoor but it was no pleasant experience biting into stones. butter chicken gravy had too much cardamom and it was off-putting. the chicken itself was good and had a nice smokey flavor but the gravy had too much cardamom. Got a 30% opening week discount which was great, but otherwise we weren't blown away by the food! Update: Gave Mela a second chance and had a dine-in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Lamb Rogan Josh was good, but the HYD biryani was excellent. I've changed my mind. 5 stars to Mela!

I've been going to Tinseltown Ealing since it first opened. I think I've tried everything on the menu. It was our go-to place, we loved it. Recently they decided to change the menu, so we went to try it. The new menu isn't as extensive and they've gotten rid of a lot of old favourites. The meat in the new burgers is disgusting, it tastes like cardboard. The nachos were freezing cold and had weird movie theatre cheese on it as opposed to melted cheddar cheese. I paid £1.69 extra for cheesy fries and there was hardly any cheese on it (it was the same weird cheese as the nachos). I cannot believe they changed a perfectly good menu. You were doing so well Tinseltown but you ruined it. Never coming here again! Disgusting food. Avoid!!

I went yesterday night with my family to have some dinner. Its been a pleasure to eat here. Place was not fully packed but we got our starters with in 5 minutes. Our server Ishmael been did a great job as he cleared our table after the starter and we got the shakes what was delightful and the mains almost the same time. I went for a double beef the don burger and everything was perfect. Bun was toasted and the beef was beautifully cooked. This place is definitely worth visiting and we will be back
