All their meat now is Halal, I will never go there ever again. I hope people with half a brain cell will do the same.

The entire team at Almost Famous was friendly, especially Pippa who provided excellent recommendations, ensured we got Halal food as requested, and made sure we had a fantastic experience. I will definitely be returning!

I tried the Vamos burger, it comes with two slices of meat with delicious cheese, and it is the only halal one on the menu.. Chicken pastries with teriyaki sauce 😍🤍👍🏻

I wasn't over impressed with my burger for the price of it. My biggest complaint is the 10% service charge added to the bill. I don't support companies with hidden charges on top of the already expensive menu prices. I like to decide when and how much to tip. So I won't be visiting this one again.

Always sensational! Although I'm a huge fan of Almost Famous, this was my first visit to their GN branch. The place is huge and provided a great atmosphere. Just as at other AF restaurants the staff were fantastic. More importantly the food was just as delicious as their other restaurants aswell. I finally got the 'Triple Nom' burger and it was ELITE. Amazing flavours and a beautiful mess to eat! I also tried their relatively new 'Wondernugs'. The nuggets were standard but had a nice seasoning on them and came with a tasty pickle ketchup. To finish off my feast I had the wonder tots. These always slap! The bacon sauce and hot honey combo is incredible. Almost Famous is my go-to place for top tier burgers.

Perfect cheat day meal! Been coming here for years, burgers are mint, fries are great, options for the burgers and chips are nice…just get down. Don’t need to say too much as the food speaks for itself, only thing I’d say is use the kitchen roll provided! I would recommend booking in advance if you can just incase as it can get a little busy, this in turn can mean wait times are a little longer with food and getting the bill however staff have always been nice 👍🏻

We went here for dinner before a gig nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delivered quickly and tasted amazing, so too for the cocktail. We had a great time.

We had a bottomless brunch here last night! The food was amazing and service even better. Nick served us and was very quick with getting our orders in and making sure we always had drinks. Very good value for money and one of the best bottomless brunches about!

Quick and friendly service. I had the Kids In America burger and it was seriously tasty. Love the quirky design and it's a nice big space that doesn't feel crowded. Next time I'm in Manchester I'll be back!

Top burgers and friendly staff. Meat patties were well rested so there wasn't meat juices drilling everywhere, while the bin was sturdy yet soft. Staff were chilled, friendly and efficient. Tater tots were crispy and toppings were plentiful. One of the best burgers out there

Food took 40+ mins to come, one portion of chips was cold, our water was never refilled, and they had the cheek to add an 8% service charge. Wouldn't recommend for the prices.

Nikki our server was the most accommodating and kind waitress. We had bottomless brunch and the food was incredible I deffo recommend the bacon fries. Great range of cocktails (my fav the nuclear girl🥵). They played the best tunes and Nikki was so lovely and allowed us to have the BEST time. Cannot recommend enough and Nikki baby you’re a star🌟

A mixed bag here, I really enjoyed the Phoenix fries that I had and would get those again. The burger that I had was unfortunately too salty (I got the juicy double). I did mention this to the waitress (not to complain, more just to make them aware) but was told it was 'because there were 3 sauces on my burger'. This made no sense to me at all, was one or all of the sauces particularly salty or something? The waitress had a slight accent so maybe my query was lost in translation. I thought maybe too much salt had been added during the patty creation, but what do I know... The half term children's meal offer was good value, with it only being £5 for any of the kids meals that are normally £10 so they was good. Shame about the salty burgers and my concerns not being taken on board.

Nikki was a fantastic server! So warm and friendly, super helpful and efficient! Had a lovely time. The bottomless brunch was great value for money and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. Great potion sizes and really fun cocktails.

Went early afternoon for a Birthday meal with friends. Everyone enjoyed the burgers. Good lunch deals. Nice touch of free birthday fries & birthday shot. Only rates atmosphere a 4 as was quiet when we visited due to time of day but im sure it would easily be a 5 later on.

Always great burgers. I recommend getting some blasts (tenders) and some tater tots to go with your meal.

Second Almost Famous I have been to, and experienced the same quality. Food: Devine, hot and truly a blessing on the taste buds Service: Amazing and understanding. Catered for a single booking without being made to sit on the high tables as requested even on a Saturday night. The wings, meat perfectly cooked and falling off the bone to touch. The burger, well... It's perfect.

Good service and atmosphere. Compared to most chain restaurant's this place doesn’t excel but I would still state the food is good. I just think it’s disappointing how much value you get for kids meals. I have 3 children and it’s very expensive for a family meal, however the burgers did taste good.

I’m always nervous having a burger outside the US, honestly, from mostly so so experiences. I also greatly enjoy trying cultures foods, and prefer eating that in new places. But we decided to give this spot a go at the end of a trip and it was great! I think our servers name was Daniel, great guy, good, cocktails, would definitely not be nervous to eat here again for a great burger!

One Of The Best Burger Places Ever….. Almost Famous has easily the best amazing burgers, loaded fries and great drinks. The service and atmosphere are also amazing. If your in Manchester give this place a go, you’d be missing out if you don’t.

Nice vibes … Delicious burger and wings .. Service is good .. We ordered fries with the foods but when they brought the foods , they did not bring the fires , the waiter said 3 minutes and it will be served as they forgot to order it , we finished the foods and no fries has been served… I asked to cancel it they said ok … no apology… that was disappointing … mistake happen , it is ok but at least say sorry or offer something for the delay.

Even though I don't consider this a 5* burger joint, it's consistently been a 4/5 for me. They have many burger choices, and all that I've tried have been good. Not the best burgers I've ever had, but above average every time. Their bacon fries are excellent, the location is nice, and this latest time I've been the service has been excellent, too. Try to go for their lunch deal between 12 and 5 on weekdays if you can. It's excellent value!

Most Famous Restaurant A family-friendly restaurant with a wide variety of options. Only their chicken is halal. Unfortunately, meat is not halal. The staff is very helpful and keen to provide excellent service and satisfy your desires as much as possible. It is a suitable place to watch the matches. The chicken burger was very delicious, to be honest. I repeat the experience, especially if there is a match on the same day

Had a great time, food at high standard as always, however we did book a private room, but was double booked. Compensated by prosecco so all good 👍🏼

Second time I've been to Almost Famous and both times it's been amazing food, amazing service and an even better atmosphere for the euros!

Travelled to Manchester for a concert, and as part of me and my partners hobby trying different burgers, we ended up at Almost Famous and ordered the butter, blood & bleu burger. From we entered we had amazing service from Sufyano who even offered to cut our burger in half lbecause he knew we were sharing, and moved us to a table so we could watch the Euros match. The burger left nothing more to desire. We ordered one to share, and ended up ordering another!!! Would recommend visiting if you’re in the area

10 of us went for a birthday Great service and food would definitely visit again

I hired a private room for my 25th birthday, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience for the amount of money I paid. *I would just like to add, however, that Ben (our private server for the evening) provided outstanding service and made the very best of a not ideal situation. Everyone was really impressed that he got every single food and drinks order 100% correct. He also brought in my birthday cake with all candles lit, and did his best to get our music requests played in the venue speakers. Thank you so much Ben! One of the main reasons I booked this room was that I wanted to play my own music through the speakers. However, when we arrived on the day, we were told this wouldn't be possible as the aux cord had been stolen. As a substitute we were given a tiny wireless speaker that we could barely hear music through above the noise of the venue. I understand it's not the venue's fault (and certainly not our server's) it was stolen, but to have it dropped on us on the day, and to not have a replacement wire provided for the £565 we spent on food/drink/room booking was simply not good enough. I was also given a quote for having the room from 6pm - 12am. However, on the night we were kicked out of the room at about 10:30pm. We were then only able to stay downstairs in the venue until 11pm. This should have been mentioned beforehand. Communication was also poor once I'd booked the room via Tagvenue. I was provided with a contact phone number that didn't work, and the mobile number of a manager - when I left a voicemail, I eventually got a call back from someone asking why I needed to talk to the manager!! The food and drinks did at least make up for some of the issues. The burgers were absolutely amazing, and we all loved the cocktails. They even gave me a birthday shot on the house. I would definitely return for just food and drinks, however, as a private hire venue, I wouldn't recommend Almost Famous GN.

Martin & the team always make eating at Almost famous a great experience today Father’s Day was no exception we ate early and the place had a amazing atmosphere, Ben did a great job serving us as I let my son ( 8 ) pick his own meal he was patience and polite with him , the foods MEGA it always is and now we’ve worked out that parking in the NCP on Watson st we will be coming more often

Tidy, nice chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. Had the Kids in America burger as part of a birthday 'burger crawl' to sample some of the best burgers in central Manchester. It was very tasty with lots of different flavours - the first time I've had pepperoni on a burger. All in all, a solid 4 stars.

Tasty, but seriously overpriced fast food. If I'm paying £15 for a regular sized burger, I expect fries to be included. And they've gone the way of the Americans, making customers subsidise their employees wages with an added service charge.

Fantastic place and super yummy 😋😋 food.We went on a Monday evening it had a steady flow of customers.We ordered Burger blood and bleu burger with bacon bacon fries.Burger was so deeply filled couldn't bite in to it with out it falling out.It was delicious best burger I've had. Chips with cheese and bacon pieces were so good.Highly recommended

Decent little place to eat. Very relaxed atmosphere. Got the Famous burger and the Bacon Bacon fries. Fries portion very generous and very filling. Could share the fries between two if you wanted too. Don’t forget if your student to use your UNiDAYS. For two people very acceptable price. If you’re just wanting a burger and some chips, wouldn’t even bother with TGI Fridays and come here instead. Good location, a few mins from bus station. Didn’t have any of the cocktails but I’ll definitely be back to try one of the shakes, only didn’t this time as I was too full. Wasn’t too busy when we arrived 5pm on a Friday but small room and get filled quick so worth booking if your planning on coming. Worth shooting your shot.

Had a great time yesterday, food and drinks were great, Almost Famous were amazing birthday hosts and made sure we celebrated well and had a great time. We were served by 2 staff members who were both friendly and attentive.

The staff here are wonderful, helpful, kind & down-to-earth, refreshingly allowed to ‵just be themselves′ rather than being corporate robots or clones, scripted & this rsther vapid; that's certainly NOT the case here! I feed the homeless and they have been so amazingly kind as to offer to make some items on their wonderfully delicious menu for me to give some nearby peeps on The Street. I can't sing their praises enough & am an ambassador for them, as they're been so kind to me. Honestly, this place is the ‵real deal′ & is truly authentic, the staff are well-chosen and genuine, whom will ensure that you're made to feel welcome & are very attentive. Well done, folks!

Visited Almost Famous in Manchester on Friday evening and had a great time! The atmosphere was lively and fun. I tried the Awesome HQ burger, which featured beef, chicken, and halloumi—it was decent. The bacon bacon fries were amazing! The food is on the heavier side, but that’s fine for me. Everything was well-priced, and the place is well-spaced out with interesting design elements. I can’t wait to go back and try a different burger!

Food was amazing and very filling. Eyes were definitely bigger then stomach. Definitely need to book especially on weekends to get seated quick.

I went in for some vegan food, nice few options but feels like they have a bit less effort to them compared to the meat options, understandable, and not to say the food wasn't nice. Tall tables feel like you're a bit on display too.

Lovely Awesome HQ burger and mac n cheese balls - the cocktails were a little sweet for me but still enjoyed. Visited as a large group of about 16 so a couple of drinks took a while to come but totally understand given the amount of us! Servers were very friendly and wait time for food was good - would definitely go again.

Staff were great - very friendly and helpful - but the burgers were average. Small piece of slightly overcooked chicken in the bun, although the sauce wasn't too bad. Fries were also not much to sing about. Music was far too loud for an afternoon out with family, we couldn't hear each other. I guess it's aimed at a younger crowd but there were loads of families there and I can't see the appeal of having your customers shout over each other to be heard.

Excellent service, very attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. There were 8 of us, so quite a large group, there was a bit of a delay on the food coming out, but nothing too extreme. And it was all delicious and presented well. Quite a quirky place, which I'm guessing gets quite busy in an evening.

Monday night in the North Quarter of Manchester and even though most places were shut Almost Famous’s lights were on, people were inside, and the atmosphere was vibrant and lively. The menu has a fantastic selection of creative and mouthwatering burgers. I opted for their signature "Famous Whisky BBQ Burger" and it did not disappoint! The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and meaty, and the additional extras were just enough. The bun was soft and toasted holding it all together. The decor was on trend for a burger joint and located in a thriving part of town. The weekends are going to be crazy in this place so suggest ringing ahead of time. If you're a burger lover looking for a cheaper but just as good if not better than five guys experience, this place is a must-visit!

Nice night out for dinner and drinks, fun atmosphere and really nice staff. The service was a little slow but it was really busy TBF. Unfortunately the ladies toilets were really unclean and I felt uncomfortable using them. Would love to go back again if the facilities are cleaned up because the rest of the experience was great :)

Relaxed atmosphere, good music and not ridiculously loud. I had the butter blood and blue burger with fries and it was beautiful, I would have married it if I could have or had a 2nd one at the least. Husband had a blame it on the whiskey and also enjoyed his. Worth every penny. Staff where friendly and very helpful especially when they pointed out there where multiple locations when I mentioned we were visiting!

Decent burgers and drinks. Chips tasted like the fat may have been a bit old though. Good service and friendly staff. However, quite possibly some of the worst toilets I've seen in a restaurant for a long time. Completely at odds with how the rest of the place is presented. Really needs sorting as would put me off coming here again in their current state.

Booked last minute for a group of 6 for my friends hen party & definitely made the right decision!! The food was delicious & the service from Pippa was brilliant. The total bill was just over £175 meaning it was just under £30 each for our food, cocktails & a round of shots - definitely value for money!! I had the liberty island chicken burger which was possibly one of the nicest chicken burgers I’ve ever tried. We shared the Wonder Tots & a portion of Winning Fries (potato & sweet potato mixed fries … genius!!) - the Wonder Tots were delicious!!!! There was unfortunately a medical emergency while we were in there but the staff handled it quickly in an extremely professional & respectful way, including our fab server Pippa :) Will definitely be returning!!!!

A big group of us turned up for lunch and they managed to accommodate us which was great. We were warned that there was a slight wait on food which was understandable as they were very busy. Service was good and staff were friendly and helpful as a member of the party is vegetarian. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.
