Gone downhill since I last went a few years ago. Seems to be under new management. Sizzlers didn't taste nice, beef was very grizzly and of poor quality. Chicken in the burger was measly, only filled half the burger and was super thin. Rice was clumpy and not great

Pulse Cardiff is one of the most poorly run, toxic venues in the city. It hides behind a reputation of being inclusive, but in reality, it’s inconsistent, discriminatory, and filled with power-tripping staff who create more problems than they solve. There is no real dress code policy, yet security regularly turns people away based on personal bias or how someone “looks” — while letting others in wearing costumes, casual clothes, or barely anything. It’s selective enforcement at best, outright discrimination at worst. The bar staff are rude and unprofessional, often overcharging people for basic mixers and getting defensive or aggressive when questioned about it. Reports of drinks being tampered with, watered down, or deliberately altered are not uncommon — and that is completely unacceptable. Management and security clearly lack training in both customer service and safety. There are multiple reports of victims being ignored, mocked, or accused of lying when trying to report harassment or unsafe situations. This is a venue that puts people at risk by refusing to take complaints seriously. Their inflated egos are clearly doing overtime to make up for whatever they’re lacking elsewhere — because there is zero professionalism, maturity, or respect shown to the people keeping the place open. For a place that claims to be a safe space, Pulse fails on every level — respect, accountability, consistency, and basic decency. It’s an embarrassment to Cardiff’s nightlife and to the LGBTQ+ community it pretends to support. I genuinely hope this place gets investigated, reported, and shut down. It doesn’t deserve the licence it holds.

I used to be a loyal customer and order form here quite regularly but after the last two occasions I will now go elsewhere. On the first of my last two visits I was short changed on my regular order and on my most recent visit I ordered a doner meat, with wedges and salad, but all I got was wedges and salad...

Had the most incredible lunch here! Just passing by, looking for somewhere to eat and the Bar-B-Q sign caught my eye. On entering, we were welcomed with open arms and some fabulous chilled out background music. Being our first visit, we had some questions about the food and it turns out the incredibly cheap lunchtime deals are really too good to be true! It's the same dish as the main meal, the same size and definitely the same quality but at half the price! Such amazing service and the food...wow...genuinely blown away by the flavours and how well it all melted off the bone! Recommendations: Pitmaster Bar-B-Q Sandwich and Taste-O-Rama

As usual satisfied, the burgers were delicious and very nice service. I recommend everyone to try.

ordered a iced drink which came half full when i asked the assistant to full it up he asked the manager who told me tthat it was the machine which filled the cusps automaticley then at work my collegue orderd on and it was over filled not great service
