Amazing manager, despite having loads of people with us was still amazing and quick service . Would definitely recommend!

Not one of the best Wetherspoons experience here! Food took 45 minutes!!! When the meal arrived it was obvious that it had sat under the heat lamp for a period of time. Also it wasn’t the correct dish ordered so had to send it back which took even more time! The rare steak was well done and you could have frisbee the fried egg!!!

Mixed feelings about this one. The building is the opposite to Dr Who's TARDIS (smaller inside), service was good but not sure the staff knew what they were doing. Main disappointment was the lack of Guest Ales, only one Mild when visited. 08-10-2024

Cheap but not much else to recommend

6 of popped in for some food after swimming on Sunday. We waited an hour for food. 4 of 6 orders came out wrong- no apology. Food came back out 15 mins later freezing cold And still not the right order- onion rings were rubbery. Chips dry and freezing all 5 of them we got on our plates anyway! The absolute worst Wetherspoons I have ever been to, I know what to expect with spoons, it’s quick and cheap. But this was just awful- would advise anyone to Stay well away!!!!!

Another great spoons, not the biggest but still plenty of seating. There's the normal great spoons menu with something for everyone. Our food came pretty quickly and was hot and fresh. The pub was clean and well presented despite being very busy.

Service was awful. We were trying to order food. The person serving served 3 customers he knew before us despite we were cueing. Then gave us the wrong information. We were consequently overcharged. No refund!

Love Oxted area. Found the Oxted Inn wetherspoons easily. Was good customers service and table service, toilets nice and clean. A lovely breakfast for a great start fur a very busy day ahead.

What a lovely place to visit. Excellent food both to buy and in the cafe along side the main shop. Such a variety of beautifully presented food and other products too. Although essentially a farm shop it had all the amenities and ample parking for such a busy place.

Fantastic pub conveniently located in the centre next door to the station. Plenty of seating and very reasonable prices, would highly recommend this pub to anyone visiting the area looking for somewhere to eat or drink.

Nice little spoons pub, friendly staff, friendly locals, decent amount of parking 20ft from door. Cheap, fast turnaround food, with a fair selection of drinks. Brought my family in for a cheap meal and drinks, service was under 10 minutes from order to table (food) and drinks within 3 minutes, staff checked back with us to make sure food was to our liking few minute in to meal. Pub was clean and tidy, with tables being wiped down and any mess/rubbish being picked up as spotted. Have visited several times over the year and even when busy, the staff welcome you, acknowledge you waiting at the bar and try to serve you as soon as they can, one of the manages (I assume) even put down her food to help serve while on her break. Very customer focused, polite and friendly and welcoming pub... would reccomend a visit if passing. Keep up the good work.

All the workers who work on floor are absolutely spectacular and well mannered. It is clear they take their jobs seriously and do their best to satisfy customers. Beautiful pub with posh decorations that add an attractive atmosphere.10/10 would recommend.

Food _ some is good some is not ! Chicken strips were nice, chips cold so had to replace them. Burger not good, lasagne not good, wrap sandwiches are good. But price decent and special deal with alcoholic drink included for £9.95

Great pub. Good value good food

After a long 5 hr hike on the North Downs Way, we went with our Labrador dog to the Oxted Inn. Whilst the sign indicates no dogs allowed inside we sat outside in 5 degrees and abided by the rule, had food and drinks and we were then asked to leave the outside. There were no other people sitting outside, it was cold. The manager then waited until we had paid for food to then send out a member of staff to request we leave. Awful treatment. Whilst the venue looked good, and the staff serving nice, based on the management we will avoid and strongly recommend others walking / hiking also avoid.

Good range of draught beers. All well kept and served. But it is a Wetherspoons.

It's a spoons so no surprises as such but I had great friendly service and a sirloin with all the trimmings for under £12. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Bit of a bargain IMO. Place itself was clean, pleasant and inviting.

Had lunch for my hangover husband before Christmas grocery shopping. We ordered heatwave burger and ultimate burger. Food came relatively quickly and tasty for the price. Decent quality food for what you pay I think. The fried chicken breast for my burger was really tender and juicy. Nice budget pup for families too!

Nice selection of drinks at a great price. Always busy when I visit with friends, and food is constantly good. They could be quicker clearing and cleaning used tables ready for the next person. The staff are always friendly and helpful 👍

I feel I was personally violated in this place, its only getting stars because I have to add them!!! The order was wrong and cold, clearly the waitress we raised this issue with isnt getting enough bedroom action as her attitude stunk worse than a crackheads chuff. The eggs were snotty, the bacon was stone cold and which inhuman monstrous being feels they have the right to subject me to toast without butter? I for one shall not be returning to this dump and shall be taking my business to the East Grinstead branch where the food is hot, the staff are always smiling and happy to help and resolve any issues promptly. #BigUpGrinny

A nice friendly spoons pub, what you would expect with good priced drinks and food. Only negative was a few little flies/bugs flying around.

Not your ordinary Weatherspoons, busy but relaxed atmosphere, staff were excellent, jovial and amicable. Although we didnt eat food coming out of the kitchen looked good. Will definitely try to return here!

What can u expect ,when a large mixed grill costs £12? Served up in less than 5 mins,plonked " on Ur table,with the words" ere u are mate" 😅, lots of suspicious eyes were checking out our table, probably cos we ordered coffee and not 2 pints with our meal. Still,we were desperate and hungry,and my car was still where I left it..🤣🤣

I love this pub, I come here often. The vegan options in Spoons pubs are great and the quality is amazing for the price. This pub is in a nice little quiet location tucked away from any noisy roads. My only criticism is that they never have crayons for the children's menus and they don't sell the jackfruit burger, if you fixed these things it would be 5 stars. Otherwise I always have a nice time here, great atmosphere and good service.

It was my first time at the Oxted, we planned to go after a trip to Quebec House, Westerham. The place is light, airy, warm (on a cold day) and very comfortably furnished. The price of 2 large soft drinks was highly reasonable. Once 11.30 came around, we ordered lunch. Steak & Kidney pudding, chips & peas and a small-plate ham egg & chips for Mrs S. It arrived quite promptly, was hot, fresh and most enjoyable. Leo was very pleasant and efficient at waiting on tables. For dessert, we had apple crumble and ice cream. It rounded off a great lunch, I was amazed at the cost and was left feeling thoroughly lunched in a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return in time!

Breakfast was great, also served by a very kind lady called Bonnie. The lady helped the OAP in for the early morning breakfasts with a smile and friendly banter. For what you pay and what you get with the service and food is quite incredible.

My favourite spoons to visit. All the staff are lovely and helpful.

Standard Wetherspoons food delivered promptly, the only issue being that they had run out of naan bread so provided three popadums with the chicken jalfrezi. Not too busy on a warm Saturday afternoon when the majority of customers chose to sit outside.

We were delighted to find Oxted had a Wetherspoons. Pleasant staff good service nice surroundings Our freind took us to 2 other places in Oxted, one awful (no access to a toilet either) the other was amazing for lunch, otherwise we would have eaten in The Oxted Inn.

Had a meal on Sunday 13 August. Service was quick and food good.

I had an American breakfast which was lovely, fast and efficient service and friendly staff. A very good portion size for the price and refills on hot drinks was a bonus.

Gave the whole table the wrong food and the man with the mop looking hair was extremely rude to me and I’m not having it even though he got my order wrong

Had a drink with my pals and ultimately enjoyed everything from being served to chit chat, a special announcement! Lilly and Scarlette were exceptional, I recommend for everyone in oxted to be served bye them ! Lovely jubbly

The most disgusting Cold breakfasts we have ever tasted. The plate was piping hot and the beans sausages eggs were cold. The bacon had been on fire but still cold. The toast you will see is uncooked and thrown onto the cold beans along with 2 pats of butter. This was terrible and when I told the staff member he just said I’ll pass it on. No apologies, they couldn’t care less. Because of the state of the food that they served, I didn’t feel that sending it back was a good thing to do. Absolutely disgraceful.

We needed a quick lunch on a Sunday in Oxted and to be honest there seemed to be very few options in the centre of town. We didn't know it was a Wetherspoons until we went it. It was typical Wetherspoons fare and you can never complain about their prices. We had a regular fish and chips and a small fish and chips. Decent sized pieces of fish for the prices. The portions of chips and garden peas were cooked well and reasonably sized too. With a soft drink (included) each, the cost was under £18 for two - you can't complain about that! You would pay that just for one main course in many traditional pubs. Service was quick after ordering at the bar. Remember your table number - I didn't. Clean toilets. Tables and carpets have been well used. All in all we couldn't fault anything, but it wasn't a venue for fine dining.

Stopped off for a quick pint only to find that they had Jaipur on and it was perfect. Not freezing cold but just cold. Best I've had from a spoons in a long time. Wish they could get the temperature right at there flagship, my local, "The George" pub in Croydon. 🤔🤔

Very good value for food and drinks, generally well prepared and presented, some staff look a little stressed and over worked but generally good. Very good value. Very much worth a visit.

We went as a family and all choose different meals. These came out correct, fresh, hot and tasty. We all thoroughly enjoyed it as we did with the drinks. It offers great value for money especially the large mixed grill £30 for three meals bargain. The table 34 was very clean and actually looked newly varnished.

Just ordereda bottle of wine and a beer Went to order ultimate burgers and an alcoholic drink and was told beers were an additional cost After finally realising they were charging me extra on top of a soft drink the girl then tutted at me and the manager stepped in when I was complaining only to refuse to serve me. No idea on customer relation skills whatsoever And all this hassle for microwaved food

Regularly visit here as it is an ideal venue for group meets. Food and drink to cater for all tastes and at a price that caters to all incomes. Very friendly and helpful staff and generally pleasant environment

Cracking pub great selection of Beers. Food is top notch as is the service... I popped in during a Sunday afternoon and the pub was reasonably busy but got served within minutes... The staff are very polite and make an effort to ensure all customers enjoy their experience... Will definitely be back very soon.

Popped in for lunch on a bank holiday. Lovely spicy chicken wrap, great value. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Actually quite a few people eating with kids, none of the spoons-daytime-aura you get in some places.

Somone did not like the food it seems

It's a Spoons and one of the least pretty ones to boot. But the beer is good, cheap and just keeps turning up with the click of a button. Basic but fair food and great to get things like steak and kidney pudd with a discount pint. Perfect for a lads (we're in our 60s) night out. Mixed staff but the experienced ones are great Can't fault it.
