My glass was never empty, all staff were forever topping our glasses up - can’t fault the service. Greeted warmly, lovely food & general vibe with good music playing in the background. Thoroughly enjoyed my bottomless brunch & would recommend.

Perfect place for wonderful cocktails, and fabulous food. So many great choices to suit everyone’s tastes

Overall the food was good especially the Cajun chicken burger, but it did take a while to arrive. It's pricey, but worth it for the good service, pretty decor and nice ambience

Had the most lovely, tasty dinner here last night. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Very attentive staff, calm and peaceful atmosphere (seated to the front) will definitely be returning

We went here for my Sister’s birthday, 9 of us. The food was excellent. Burgers, Steaks, SeaBass & Prawns, all superb. I fancied a Tequila Sunrise, which wasn’t on the list of cocktails, but it was not a problem; the manager had that made for me and it was the best! They also let us bring our birthday cake in for my sister and brought it to the table singing Happy Birthday! We all had the best time, Thank You Perfect evening, perfect food and great staff, we will be back 😊

The scallops were the best I’ve ever eaten ,cooked to perfection. Rump steak melted in my mouth with chunky chips and creamed spinach DELICIOUS! I will be back without doubt . A jewel in Oxted. .

2 course brunch near Christmas! We went on a weekday as a treat so it was a bit quieter. Fantastic attentive service . We both had the halloumi as a starter which was delicious. One of us had steak & I had the mushroom truffle risotto which was huge ! Great cocktails option or fizz ! Lovely 🥰 .

Beautiful establishment, fantastic customer service and stunning food. I would recommend this restaurant. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. No long waits great customer interaction with staff. Music at a good level (not too loud, not to quite) Give this restaurant a go!!

Food was absolutely lovely, and very attentive staff. Lovely decor. Downside was the music volume. Thankfully my group had a table at the back because the guests in the middle section were shouting at each other to make themselves heard. Why so loud, it's a restaurant!

Food was fine but hospitality was left wanting. Last orders at 9.30pm and glasses whipped away and main lights thrown on at 10pm. It’s a cocktail bar no?! Show a bit more respect for your customers and put them at the heart of the decisions you make and you may get more coming back….sadly I won’t be.

Wow! So it’s the first time I’ve been back for a few years and the decor, live music, ambience was amazing. Our lovely waitress was very polite, knowledgeable about the food and enjoyed our company. BUT at 9.30 we were asked for last orders, asked for empty glasses and wanted us out. A waitress (not our original lovely one) was rude and sour faced and put a complete downer on the evening. Not the way I would want to spend my birthday. Sadly, we won’t ever go back and as locals we will steer our friends away

A first visit to a first class restaurant! We were welcomed on arrival and the service throughout our meal was friendly, timely and just a delight. That said, when taking our order, our waiter said “ladies first” which may land him in trouble with wokey customers in the mad world in which we now live!! I hope this gives readers an idea of the light hearted nature of the banter we enjoyed. On a rainy Thursday night it was certainly not busy but there’s a nice ambience to this place. The food was absolutely tremendous. We all enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks after our amazing starters and it was even better knowing that all meat is locally sourced. It is rare for me to find no areas to be disappointed with but I can’t do do here. I would not hesitate to recommend and will certainly be visiting again.

This place is incredible. We were waiting for the other half of our party to arrive and they took another 45 minutes but we weren’t pressured at all by the staff which we were grateful for. The food was amazing and the cocktails were even better. We’ll definitely be coming back here.

I have been wanting to come for - forever!!!! And it absolutely didn't disappoint!!! Annoyingly we were late for our table but they were over accommodating to us and we managed to still have a fantastic meal. Food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We where a table of 6 ranging from 17 to 55 fabulous evening and not just the steak....a must visit...

We went here as a family of 4 after going to the cinema. We had a fabulous meal. One thing that really stands out is the way they handled the nut allergy my daughter has which was amazing. We were a bit disappointed the scallops weren’t available however were happy with the prawns, bao buns and haloumi. For mains we had 2 half lobsters, prawns and pulled burger all of which was well cooked and tasty. The service and staff here are super friendly and attentive. We will be back and most probably for a Saturday brunch which sounds amazing!

The most fantastic evening. We have been a couple of times before but not since before COVID lockdown. Jono and his team were the best and our waiter was a delight. The food was exceptional. The only place where you can get a blue steak cooked correctly. Thank you!!

This excellent eatery is perfectly placed for dinner after the cinema, just across the road. Service is efficient & the staff friendly & courteous. Have never had a bad steak here which is more than can be said for so many restaurants purporting to know what they're doing! We have been several times and will be going again.

Popped in, on the off chance of a table, for a pre cinema meal. Managed to fit us in even though it was a busy Friday night. Food is excellent- recommend the steak.. Wine list is excellent- a choice for all tastes and wallets. Someone has taken a lot of time and care with the wine selection.. for that alone, I thank you. Will be returning soon and hopefully make this a regular thing.. so impressed.. well done to the owner and staff

Searching for a new restaurant to try locally and this came up and loved the name , so booked to give it try. When we arrived the restaurant was full and bussing . We were shown to our table and the decor is tasteful and comfortable. We ordered cocktails while looking at the menu , The menu is interesting with so many wonderful things to eat, spoilt for choice. The food we ordered was most enjoyable and tasty , from fish to steak . We will definitely be back very soon to sample more of the tasty menu.

Great restaurant, our 1st of many visits

Have to say hadn't been before, but usually eat in~house when we visit the Everyman, Oxted. Was blown away by the beuatiful decor and the amazing service given by the manager, Jonno and his lovely waitress. Have to say I used to work in the City and the food here us simply first class and well worth trying their cuisine. We had their set menu which was amazingly good value. My wife had the rump steak with fries, tomato, salad and pepercorn sauce which was unbelievably good, (Gaucho Grill watchout!). I had their scrumpcious chicken burger with all the trimmings which was excellent. Can't wait to come back when we have more time, a Jewel in the Crown of restaurants!.

Lovely venue/ambience Not great location for those outside of the Oxted Area but right by the train station Came for a 50th small birthday booking and unfortunately I am disappointed as the staff made no effort to make it special which was a shame The birthday note was on the booking for the table but also was mentioned to the waitress Some waiters are nicer than others I did feed this back post visit We ordered starters x3, mains x3, sides x3, dessert x1, alcohol x5 and soft drinks x2 We spent a lot of money and did not feel that it was good value

Food here is really good, ate here after being abroad for a week and in need of some proper food. The jazz singer although I forget her name was great and the all the staff super friendly and helpful. They didn’t have the wine we wanted however the waitress was able to recommend a similar one. The portions are generous and the desserts look amazing!

Took my daughter for her 17th lunch. Lovely venue complimented by high end food cooked perfectly; having eaten at many high end restaurants this venue is easily on par. Put that together with a warm atmosphere and attentive polite service..... Great choice for a bit to eat and cocktail.

We had an amazing takeaway experience this weekend! The food made it home (5 min drive) still piping hot, was beautifully presented and just as delicious as eating in the restaurant. A Saturday night treat for sleep deprived new parents! How amazing as well to get cocktails to go!

Jono (manager) and Eva are two of the best people I’ve come across in a hospitality environment. The food is always 10/10, the staff are incredibly attentive and caring and will do the utmost to ensure you have a nice time. The drinks are always lovely and the bottomless brunch is great value. I will always recommend Cattle & Cocktail to anyone in and around Oxted.

Fantastic place! A definite go to. Visited for the first time last night for a date night. We were served by Emily and Georgina and they were amazing. Really knowledgeable and super friendly and professional. We had halloumi and bao bubs to start, followed by half price steaks.. the filet is amazing. Than a biscoff martini for desert. The cocktail selection was great and really tasty. Would highly recommend.

Food was good, burger was slightly over cooked but it was a busy Friday night, I would certainly try it again. Highlight was my liquid dessert - chocolate Martini - delicious!

Food was ok, but the plates were cold, also got seated by the toilets as we found it to noisy were we were 1st going to be seated. Service wasn't the best as some of the staff were quite young and the price of the food far exceeded what it was worth paying.

This was our first visit here, and it won't be our last. The service we received was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We made the most of the 50% off offer on steaks and enjoyed amazingly well cooked food. I'm glad we went here and can't wait to return. Thank you to all the staff who made our visit so memorable.

First time visit the weekend just gone, fabulous place. Surprisingly big inside with good customer service. The food was delicious with a a wide variety from the menu and quality produced which was very well presented. The double stacked burger is not for the faint hearted! Favourite part of the meal was the salted caramel martini which was the best I’ve ever had

First, a special thanks to the manager, who dealt with a somewhat unusual request of mine, both quickly and beyond the call of duty. All the staff were very friendly, polite, and efficient. An excellent establishment, offering delicious, quality food, and drinks, with an extensive wine list. Highly recommended, and I will be back.

What a lovely lunch! Impromptu meet with a friend who lives locally and had always wanted to try this place. The set lunch was 3 courses for £18.95. With a glass of wine and service, it came to less than £50 which we regarded as good value. Bao buns and halloumi to start…. then sea bass fillet and a chicken & bacon Caesar salad…. followed by sticky toffee pudding….. Couldn’t fault the food or portion sizes; and the effort that went into food presentation of each plate, I think speaks volumes about the care that went into making it. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Undoubtedly, the hospitality industry overall has suffered disproportionately from Covid, staffing issues, higher energy costs, etc etc. Oxted is lucky to have such a venue - I highly recommend it, and will be back to try the cocktails next time.

Very disappointed, since opening we have regularly visited this restaurant as a treat. We received two cocktails, my lychee martini was delicious but my partners mojito was unmixed and piled up 2 inches over the glass with chunky ice. I’m a fan of lobster! It’s my favourite. They used to serve lobster with the prices listed on the menu and the dish would arrive beautifully cooked and reasonably sized. The last 2 occasions (since removing the price to seasonal) have been really disappointing. On the first occasion the manager deducted the full price of the dish as it was tiny but cooked well. It wasn’t due to complaint, apparently they had run out and the size was an automatic gesture. Last night I received my dish and it was as small as the last occasion and sadly undercooked. I kept trying to make eye contact with the team, of which they had plenty and was ignored. My partners steak was undercooked so as I prefer mine rarer we shared his. When our table was cleared we were asked how everything was. We said ‘not great’ and the waitress said, dessert menu without acknowledging our disappointment. Then the bill arrived - asking for £40 for my tiny dry little lobster, this I flagged with the manager this time and he tried to say the weight was correct then comped half saying that’s less than I pay for it. I found this incredibly rude and unprofessional. I still paid £22 for a poor dish and I was treated like I should have been eternally grateful. Won’t be returning,

Had dinner here on Sat evening with my family. The decor is stunning, food delicious and service exceptional. We were made to feel very welcome and were well looked after, especially our little boy. Will definitely return.

Stopped into the newly refurbished Cattle & Cocktail for an impromptu lunch. The updated decor is beautiful and highly "Instagrammable" We ordered Scallops to start and these were cooked perfectly and a real pleasure to start with. We shared the lobster and a steak between the 3 of us. As it was lunch, we weren't looking for a huge amount of food as we didn't have huge appetites. This amount of food was perfect. We ordered sides of mashed potatoes and green beans along with French fries. The steak was a little on the smaller side for the price but as mentioned before it was more than enough for us on this occasion. Cooked medium-rare, could have been a little more on the rare side but it was tasty regardless. The cocktails were delicious and we will definitely be back, perhaps on a Tuesday or Saturday when they run their deals. One small setback, we were overcharged but the staff recognised their error and immediately rectified it. The meal was lovely, service great but it isn't a cheap lunch location. Would still recommend if cost isn't an issue at all.

Fantastic restaurant with delicious food. We choose bottomless brunch and the servers were awesome. Our drinks were kept topped up, the cheesecake was incredible and most of all we had a wonderful time.
