Galleria MC Donald waiting for delivery is some kind of misunderstanding. Delivery was supposed to be within 30 minutes arrived after an hour. In addition, the order preparation time was constantly changing. It was getting longer and shorter. The only thing that was fast was home delivery. Order preparation took 50 minutes, of which delivery took 8 minutes. Very disappointed .

Disappointing experience at McDonald's drive-thru. Long delay in service, had to wait in the parking lot. Also, hand tissues were missing from the package, requiring an extra trip to the counter. Room for improvement

Absolute joke. Ordered through their mcdelivery nonsense which is handled by Uber. Order came incomplete and there isn't even a customer service helpline to rectify any issues. The mcApp took 10 mins automated messages to tell me to call Uber which also wouldn't connect. Nobody answered at the restaurant. Biggest company in the world can't even offer customer service, so bad

11/03/2025 12:30 Unacceptable Treatment at McDonald's Galleria Hatfield I have been facing a recurring issue at this location for nearly a month now, and it has become incredibly frustrating. One particular employee—a bearded Indian man who also takes drive-thru orders—has been deliberately delaying my order every time I come to pick it up. Even when my order is visibly ready on the table, he refuses to hand it over, making me wait unnecessarily for 45 minutes or more while giving orders to others without delay. Most recently, on March 11, 2025, at around 12:30 PM, the same incident occurred. Despite me clearly seeing my order ready, he kept telling me, "Let me check," while continuing to serve others promptly. This behavior feels intentional and unfair, and I have no idea why he is treating me this way. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expect to be treated with fairness and professionalism. I urge the management at McDonald’s Galleria Hatfield to take this matter seriously and ensure that all customers are treated with respect.

Waited over 15min for food in restaurant meanwhile drive through orders been priority 🙄 Asked about our food, staff and manager even did not apologised for delays, no pls or thank you, not even smile. Spent £25 for this? Never again

Takes too long to get food, food is cold, got wrong items

When we received our order, our 2 youngest children were upset that they had no nuggets in their Happy Meals! We put in for a refund, £1.98, but then I had to order more nuggets, pay for delivery again so cost much more than the refund amount!

Perennial traffic problems getting to the drive through window - if you have choices, take them!

can be a big que due too at the drive thru and parking is now limited in the carparks too 20min after this you will need to pay for parking . parking is monitored via entry and exit cameras . food can be just about warm at times its a risk depending on how busy they our big que food will be cold

It was yummy. The car park is nice and big. For some reason, some of the numbers were on the screen three times. Number 094 didn't pick up their order. There's still a couple of fish burgers waiting for you. I got to be number 001. Now I know the answer to that question on The Prisoner.

This is one of the worst MacDonalds out there. It is a shame it is my nearest drive through. The queues are horrendous. Easily half hour wait even when seemingly that long. If it is long then forget. When you finally get to the front you can at least get you drinks but you will have to park up and wait another 10 mins for your food. Fries are always half full.

I ordered at 19.25 and it turned up at 21.03. Full refund please!!

I don’t normally go for McDonald’s but needed something simple for lunch so we visited McDonalds. This branch is very modern compared to how I remember McDonald’s. Ordering is via the terminal or your phone app. You can either collect your food or have it delivered to you. I tried the special (BBQ Ranch Stack) and it was very nice. Would visit again.

I went to the drive thru and even though there were only two cars in front of me in the queue, I was having to wait about 15 - 20 minutes before I could make my order. Then once I paid I had to wait another 15 minutes on top of that for my food. Although it was late evening, I saw through the window there appeared to be enough staff in so I couldn't understand what the delay was for. This is not the first time at this McDonald's that I've had to wait in the queue for around the same time for the drive thru. Rather disappointed with the service.

It's my birthday and I wanted a mcflurry from apparently, the best place to go for an ice cream, and I was told that I couldn't have one because the machine wasn't working! This is unacceptable! Mcdonalds is an iconic establishment an institution with years of memories and good times and good service. I am so upset with this lack of care for the customers happiness. So uncalled for and disappointing. You can't have a mcdonalds without a mcflurry , what is going on in the world! Proper upset.

When ordering it was advised that delivery would be 15-20 mins, so of course we chose that option an ordered. 1 hour and 35 minutes later our ‘fast food’ was delivered, mostly cold and with half of the group that it was ordered for having left.
