The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

Food was amazing and really friendly staff! Lovely atmosphere and really appreciate everything that goes on in the kitchen to make everything perfect.

We had Sunday lunch there yesterday, and the food was impeccable. We started with a freshly made bloody mary with fresh horseradish, which was so, so good, with perfect levels of spice. The roast beef was awesome - so many thick slices and perfectly cooked with a hint of pink, roast potatoes crunchy on the outside and soft inside, roast parsnips almost caramelised, amazing gravy, great cabbage, wonderfully punchy homemade horseradish creme fraiche and perfectly cooked carrots. Slow-cooked pulled lamb with homemade mint sauce was incredible too. Everything was delicious, service was quick and friendly - we couldn't fault a thing. We're so lucky to have this lovely pub as our local.

Fantastic Sunday Lunch, had belly pork and it was very good, cooked well with some crackling on. Plenty of veg too which is great for us, kids were happy with their mince and yorkshire’s! Very happy and will return.

Food is really great but a bit slow

Under staffed… limited dishes on the menu as they had ran out of so may dishes at only 6.30pm.. meal was over priced for not great quality ingredients. Over cooked food.. the chicken burger was burnt.. also the table next to us had the same problem. The restaurant itself was run down.. sea view was limited.. the windows weren’t even clean. Waitress was super friendly.. kept apologising.. but like we said this wasn’t her fault. Wouldn’t reccomend to anyone or come back.. very disappointing visit

Earlier today, I travelled 45 miles by train from Exeter just to pay the wonderful eatery a visit. It's been a long time coming that I've been meaning to visit ever since I had that inspirational Brazilian breakfast way back in 2023 in Cardiff. The staff were really welcoming and the fact that one of the menus catered for vegetarians was really warming. I would highly recommend the place to any family, friend, or work colleague who wants a fresh new perspective on Latin American cuisine, besides the Mexican big kids on the block. Don't get me wrong, I like their food too but today's experience has given me a new fresh new spin on Latin American cuisine, and as a result I'm putting Brazil food at the top of my list. Muito obrigado, rapazes e moças. I will come back soon.

Just wanted something fast and simple so my wife and I went in and ordered two different burgers . We shared half and half and were both amazed at how different but tasty mere burgers here are . If we're ever in the area again then we will visit again. Absolutely devine.

Excellent quality food & service from Ali. Gave us a free burger due to a mixup on the till and everything was handled with pure professionalism. Food was piping hot. Tried the K-chick burger, chilli cheese burger and the smoky burger. All items fresh and delicious made with care. Highly reccomend.

We came for lunch as we happened to be in the vicinity and my wife fancied the three cheese crepes I'd seen in the menu online. So glad we did! Gabe's was amazing, their menu had so many options that I had difficulty choosing one but the chorizo bangers and mash were outstanding and I would genuinely sit with a jug of the gravy and a spoon. My wife adored the crepe we'd come for and insisted she was trying the raspberry and ginger one before we could go. Since that gave me time for the banana fritters it was not a problem! Overall this was ana amazing find that we would heartily recommend if you're anywhere nearby, and by that I mean I'm going to be driving up from Glasgow to explore more of their menu!
