The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

We loved the super laid back atmosphere. The dishes we chose were all small plates (we chose 7) but there was more than enough for our table of three to share. Really enjoyed the way they were severed, traditional tapas style. There a decent space of time between each and we never felt rushed.

Good place shame they don't promote artist properly to draw in crowds could make a lot more effort

The food for me couldn’t get better the drinks are fabulous however the couple of Times I’ve been Iv been served by the younger generation let’s say as that seems to be the demographic for there however they really couldn’t care any less about you.. Iv still marked it as good as the food is fab however be warned the service is generally from a teen who dosent want to be there or serve you as a vibe such a shame really

We love the pub quiz here we come every week and always have fun. The host is good. We love the food too, always good and usually quick service

Been here a few times now as a foot passenger and on my bike I love this place of your into bikes it’s a must if your in London good food good place to chill the only trouble is there’s a shop full of stuff I want 🤣 so it costs me a small fortune every time I go

This is pub not restaurant standards. They need to be much better organised and more professional with customers as the food is not cheap. We ate here twice throughout our stay mainly due to them accepting dogs. My chicken on first visit was very dry and lasagne on second visit was too. They need to have someone manning the bar who can be efficient and only do that as their job, we got our drinks served half way through our meal. They are running around with no professional standards maybe need to have another member of staff and have some hospitality training. It’s a case of come in sit over there and you will be served at sometime.

We popped in for dinner and didn't have a reservation, but so glad we did. The food and staff were excellent. We both had 12oz rib eye's for mains with scallops and spicy chicken as starters. All was tasty and cooked extremely well. If we come back to Winchester we will definitely be back to eat.

Tuvimos una velada tan agradable en Boxcar. Había reservado aquí después de ver este sitio y su panadería en Insta, y todo se veía tan bien. No nos decepcionaron. En primer lugar, el personal era absolutamente encantador, charlatán divertido y muy accesible. La comida estaba deliciosa, y me encantó ver que tenían surtida la rosa Mirabeau Pure, una de mis favoritas en una noche de verano tan encantadora. Pedimos la barra con mantequilla de hierbas para la mesa, podría haber comido todo yo mismo. El cangrejo, era ligero, fresco y sabroso. Los dos comimos filete, ribeye y filete con salsa y lados. Ahora mis últimas 2 experiencias de cena de bistec han sido basura, así que me preocupé por pedir bistec, pero Boxcar cocinó mi petición media / rara a la perfección. Era tan aterciopelado, magro y sabroso. 11 / 10 . Me convencí de que necesitábamos un postre, pudín de toffee pegajoso, tan delicioso y la ganache de chocolate, rica e indulgente. Sin duda volvería a cenar aquí.

Típico restaurante frecuentado por turistas, por lo que han adoptado una mentalidad de servicio que significa que no esperan volver a verte, así que ¿por qué hacer todo lo posible? Me decepcionó particularmente (casi me sentí insultado) que al gerente con un traje azul no le importara incluso después de haber sido informado de que había un problema, en este caso algo simple como cómo conseguir un taxi para mi cuñado que no podía caminar demasiado lejos.Hay muchas mejores opciones de restaurante, ¡mantente alejado de este!

Fue a tomar un brunch sin fondo para el cumpleaños de un amigo. Es cierto sin fondo, la comida era genial y el personal no podía hacer lo suficiente

Never been here before although we visit Stamford a lot, how have we missed it ! Tasty, freshly served food and plentiful !! Friendly obliging staff( family run) lovely quaint atmosphere. Will suit all ages. Reasonably priced too. Varied menu for all tastes.One of our secret shopper asignments !

This review is for my visit a few months ago and only just got round to do it! Steak was lovely and cooked to perfection!

Great burgers, best chips too.
