Food terrible, not all items delivered. Food was cold and only half of drinks turned up. Tried to call restaurant 15 times without getting answer

Poulton : My husband was on crutches after a knee replacement but was not offered by the greeter a table on the same level ( there were some) but managed to navigate some steps. Not a massive issue but could have been for others. The entrance and car park looks a bit dank, dark and uninviting, I missed the entrance initially and then thought it was closed down. Most Miller and carter's I have been to are nice buildings. Inside was a bit dated n chairs a bit grubby. Our server Lee howevery was lovely and attentive and took note of our daughters allergy to onions. Starters n Steaks were very nice (although the lobster tail was tiny) and service was good. Probably won't be back. There are plenty other nice restaurants in the area. It's pricey but if its good food and nice atmosphere we don't mind this. This place only hit one of the two.

Gran lugar, tiene las sensaciones, el menú se ve increíble y promete mucho. El ambiente era bueno, pero el asiento de la ventana era un poco frío con una corriente de aire. La música estaba en el lugar y la música en vivo se declaró justo cuando terminé. Estaba muy emocionado de probar la comida. El menú se ve muy bien y suena diferente, se perdió el especial que habría pedido. Ocupado, lo cual fue positivo. El personal era bueno. Tenía que tomar una copa en el bar antes de sentarse. Pedí la comida y la espera no fue demasiado larga. La comida no estaba caliente, se sentía como si hubiera estado sentado durante un tiempo. Todavía caliente. Hamburguesa, sabrosa pero tibia. Iron bru sacó cerdo estaba allí, pero no dio en el lugar, tal vez si la hamburguesa estaba caliente y no había estado sentado esto habría sido mejor. Sal y patatas fritas de puchero frío difícil de describir como puchero, no consiguió la cuajada. La salsa de curry era muy pesada en la especia china 5, este era el sabor dominante y le quitaba todo lo demás. ¿Sólo una servilleta en la mesa, tal vez un rollo azul para ayudar con los derrames? Cuando me limpiaron el plato me preguntaron si había terminado, nadie preguntó cómo estaba la comida en ningún momento, yo habría dicho. Esto podría ser un 10 absoluto dado el menú y cuando se compara con la competencia (pan de carne, hipopótamo gordo) pero decepcionado por la comida. En un miércoles por la noche ocupado esperaba más, comida caliente al menos. Potencial masivo, menú de gran aspecto, decepcionado por la falta de lustre luke comida caliente.

Went for my birthday and enjoyed a very nice steak each. Service was phenomenal (thank you Roxy!) and accomodating, although some items weren't available when we went. Highly recommended for any special occasion

Really fun stag do venue. The games are much more engaging than playing darts in a pub or something! Good beer selection and good service.

I visited Bristol for a weekend and visited many places but this one is very poorly managed (maybe consider change of whoever runs this). This 1 star goes to the management as there is a lot of things that needs to be improved in this place and has a knock off effect on everything else. Visited Sunday morning for breakfast, we made a booking for 10:30, the place was massively understaffed. Because of lack of staff, the waitresses and people making drinks were super busy and couldn’t keep up (definitely not their fault) but they couldn’t provide good customer service due to that. Our coffee drinks arrived about 20-25 mins after our food, and then I found out my coffee was not what I ordered. There was constant flow of people coming in. Bacon pancakes were good, service was slow. We finished food and then coffees arrived. My vegan waffles were pretty average but that wasn’t the issue. This place is very popular and it needs a lot more staff members - because of lack of staff, customers are not happy when mistakes happen and then obviously it affects waiters (I’m sure this place has high staff turnover, I wouldn’t want to work here). As seen on photo, my table and chair was an inch in front of the disabled toilet which I found very grim regardless if the toilet was in use or not. This table should be for one person only and not for two. None of the above is staff members fault, they are trying their best but this is the only food place in Bristol that needs heavy management changes as clearly it needs works. Sadly we will not be returning here. I highly recommend “be natural cafe” in the market hall, their breakfast was 1000% better.

Attended miller and carter Maidstone 22/4/25 for my son’s birthday. As always amazing service special shout out to “Spud”. Friendly, explained everything clearly, didn’t rush us. Amazing. Thank you.
