The Owl & Pussycat in Suffolk Coastal

Live locally and have to admit, have not used this pub as much as we should do, but saw the videos of the recent bike ride out for an old frined of mine, so decided to pay a visit this week. We are definitely coming back alot. The food was lovely, very good value and the atmosphere was brilliant. Watch the football as well, which as a bonus. Lovely to speak to the manager about his passion and plans for the place. If you haven't been recently, go back, it's a brilliant place for everyone.

As this Greene King pub/restaurant is my local I am ashamed to say I don't use it as much as I should. A mate of mine and I booked in for Sunday lunch and we both enjoyed our Roast Beef. It came with roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire Pudding, broccoli, peas, carrots and a seperate jug of tasty gravy. It all went down very well and, looking through the considerable menu, I will have to visit more often.

Amazing restaurant. Staff are lovely and atmosphere is great. There is something for everyone, came in with my family and there was board games and colouring for the kids. As well as a huge TV for sport which is nice. 10/10 will definitely be returning

Lovely visit after a great day at the beach. Always worth visit as great car parking facilities, brilliant staff and wonderful food.

Small Birthday celebration. Went on a Thursday lunchtime, very quiet which suits me fine. Very friendly staff, first time visiting and the food was excellent and very reasonable prices. Order the food at bar and pay straight away which I like. I had green king vouchers so three meals totalled £1.61 to pay, will certainly be visiting again vouchers or not.

We had family visiting to went out for evening meal. Fantastic food, great value. We are regular visitors. Staff are great. Overall a 5 out of 5 experience ⭐️

Arrived for Lunch. Made a reservation online for midday. A warm welcome from both ladies from behind the bar. Nice clean restaurant with large TV for viewing sport events. We both ordered steak and ale pies which arrived with mash and veg and a good portion of gravy. One of the best pies in my opinion. Faultless service and a very friendly atmosphere. Will return

Was here not long ago with partner, was served by a lovely gentleman called reece, nothing was to much trouble for him and the entire time he smiled and offered to help with anything, checked back on us promptly and asked if we required anything else. Will be back again and hopefully he will be there at the same time!

It's been a while since we have been able to get into Felixstowe and visit our favourite place and I am pleased to say it is still, if not better than ever. Great atmosphere, brilliant staff and so friendly. The food is always tasty and hot and with the beer so cheap during the beer festival, it was a great visit

We had eaten here 6 times in 3 months. There was never a problem until our last visit when we found the manager/chef to be very rude. We'd not met him on the other occasions, but have not been back. Won't go where we're not welcome. They lost out because we would have eaten there every night for a fortnight whilst our new kitchen was being fitted a few months ago, but don't feel inclined to go back now. I should add the problem was not with the bar staff who were always friendly, just the manager who took an instant dislike to us. The food was always ok too.

The food in this place from when I first ate here has took a massive nose dive. The mix grill is absolutely disgusting the sausages taste like the worst economy sausages the steaks the size of a pea. Also you'll order something an you'll either not get it or get something else I'd advise you all to stay away from eating here it's just not worth it.

Back to pussycat before leaving the town, it has been changing a lot after 3 years. Now I got a good value meal with 6 pounds, of course chips up and a drink to make it more. Nice people here as always though the old ladies are not here anymore. A good place for lunch and don't forget the Thursday steak day though I missed it.

Amazing atmosphere. The new menus look amazing the food is great thanks to the chefs for a lovely lunch. Lunch club deal is great amazing ciabatta for £6, to add chips for an extra £1.50 and to add a nice glass of lemonade for and extra £1.50 it's a bargain. Thanks to the manager Paul for looking after us great upselling really looked after us at the table. I love coming here for the great and friendly service I always get. Thank you all.

13 of us went in without a booking for my sons birthday celebration. Maggie did all she could to accommodate us, and we couldn’t fault a thing. 13 meals all without issue, space was made to accommodate us all, and Maggie made my son feel very special on his 4th birthday.

A lovely, conpetitely priced, meal with excellent service from Michelle and Allison. Well worth a visit! The food was typical pub fayre well cooked and delicious. Highly recommend the all day breakfast and fish and chips!

The staff here, go out of their way to provide a great service to the community, whether its running arts and crafts groups for local home educated kids, putting on charity events or discounted menus for elderly people. Maggie, the pub owner has gone above and beyond to provide a place where many people feel welcome.

Amazing arts and crafts group run by Maggie. It’s my childrens favourate group, Maggie is super supportive of my children and she always provides a range of games and activities for all different ages, as well as a book swap and refreshments for the adults and children. It’s also fantastic support for parents and a great way to meet other families in the area. Amazing facility and a huge thank you to Maggie.
