Our server Felicia was amazing for bottomless party for a hen do! We all had an amazing time and our drinks were never empty she really made our night !

We had the bottomless party here tonight. Out waitress Ego was very attentive and helpful. The food was excellent, the drinks were great and we really enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

Went for a birthday brunch, the drinks were lovely and got given some shots at the end, the atmosphere was alright it was early in the day so it was quiet, had a chance to take pictures (although the Photo Booth wasn’t working) however we were surprised at one of the waitresses I believe her name was Beth, there were 7 of us and we all thought she was very rude and must have been in a bad mood, we didn’t tell a manager but as we also have experience working in retail/customer service we found it shocking, she was rushing a friend to order (we still had an hour left), was impatient, asked for sauce and she had a snarky response..bare in mind she only asked one person on the whole table if they wanted sauce(rest of us couldn’t hear from where she was standing anyway) and when we asked later on she was annoyed. The second waitress was amazing with us, and the rude one ended up being ok in the end, (she replaced my mates burnt halloumi burger later on) but not happy about the service it’s embarrassing especially when it’s your birthday and you invited your closest friends, we didn’t expect it.

I believe me and my friend had ‘ego’ for a waitress for our bottomless brunch today. She was extremely nice and professional, kept checking up on us for drinks. Very good service AND many many gluten free option which was nice! Food great, drinks great, cannot complain! 10/10 would go again.

I came here for a bottomless brunch for my hen party in February 2024- we all had a fantastic time and were so well looked after by the Manahatta staff throughout. Our Prosecco was constantly topped up and the team were very attentive at taking additional cocktail orders, including just before our timeslot was about to end. One of my friends was pregnant and the team kindly brought her a whole bottle of non-alcoholic Prosecco when she asked for a glass! Please thank Piotr and Nirmit for looking after us all so well, we really appreciated it and hope the Manahatta team can pass on our thanks.

Went on a works night out. If you're a poser and love paying £15 for a drink, this is your spot.

Booked and pre-ordered bottomless brunch a month in advance. On arrival we were shown to our table, and then left for a considerable amount of time before anybody came to attend to us. Our table was in a very busy bar area, the servers could not get around our table so people at the bottom end were not having their drinks orders taken (they were struggling to communicate with us due to the sheer volume of the music), and when drink/food did arrive we were having to distribute them ourselves from the head of the table. People were swamping our table meaning that as we were eating, people were bumping into us, with multiple people even using our table as a storage facility for their drinks/bags whilst they danced in very close proximity to us. The whole experience was very overwhelming and uncomfortable, meaning that we actually got the bill and left 30 minutes early. After paying in excess of £400, every single member of my party said they would NOT revisit manahatta. UPDATE - I have emailed manahatta Sheffield as instructed by the generic reply to this review, and not unlike some of my guests on the night, I have been ignored. This is yet another show of terrible customer service, either they have not opened their emails in two weeks, or they have chosen to ignore a very disappointed customer instead of possibly learning from my experience.

We were going here for their £7 lunch as advertised but its a Limited menu and with no photos of the vegan food anywhere which we thought was a bit odd so we messaged politely but no reply and ignoring customers isn’t really greqt customer service nevermind plenty more restaurants in Sheffield who do actually want to help customers and want them to come in to eat there 🙂

I had a great experience at Manahatta Sheffield for my 30th Birthday with my family. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the great music. I enjoyed the New York City themed decor, food and drink, I feel the prices are very affordable and there is a great vibe about the place.

The manager Lewi checked on my friend who was crying. What an exceptional bar manager he is, to check the welfare of people in the bar and to notice someone upset, and to check out that she is fine. Outstanding service and customer care. Thank you so much.

Had the best time for Sheila's birthday had bottomless brunch it was great girls really looked after us the drinks were flowing can really recommend it fabulous atmosphere till next time x

I went to Manahatta today for lunch with my friends and the staff were really friendly , we all got the £7 lunch deal and it was so worth it and affordable the food was lovely.

We booked this venue for a celebration 8 guests Our table was ready at 430 for a 2 hour brunch after 10 mins we were still not offered a drink I asked the staff we then received a proscecco drink each We were not asked our choice of cocktail after 25 minutes I again asked staff we were then asked to choose a cocktail so 30 minutes in a 2 hour slot our drink orders were taken I complained to a man who said he was the manager I was then very rudely told he would not be extending our booking I had not asked for this I had simply asked for what we were paying for but his response was unprofessional and quite clearly he is not trained in customer service to a point of I did actually question as to whether he was in fact even a manager !! After the 2 nd complaint we then received multiple drinks !! An hour into the brunch we still had not received our food I kept asking when the food was coming and kept getting fobbed off telling me it would be soon We received our food 1 3/4 hours into our booking !! We were then asked to vacate the table when 2 of the party were still eating !! The service was terrible clearly a fully booked day with minimal staff !!! I would definitely not be able to recommend this place due to the above Which is a shame as the drinks and food were both good but did not expect this absolute chaos !!! The manager on duty clearly needs some training on customer service to alleviate his stress maybe a better staffed venue !!

The cocktails are to die for! And 2-4-1 a lot of the time so what's not to like?!

We booked this venue for a bottomless brunch for my friends birthday. We paid the extra for the better menu & I cant rate this place more!! The staff were very welcoming friendly & gave lots of knowledge around the drinks and food that they serve. The food was lovely, I had a new York burger which was beaut, my other friend had a hot dog which was picture perfect! We was never sat waiting for drinks. They would notice when we was getting to the bottom to a drink and order more. Prosecco was always topped up and the atmosphere was a vibe! Would definitely be back. Thank you very much ^_^

i thought the days of asking customers to remove their cap had gone, i wear one because of a medical condition and felt extremely self conscious having to take it off OR wear it back to front . have the security staff got no genuine issues to deal with ? i could easily take my cap off for the camera, then put it back on again , anyway i refused to give them my custom and would not have gone in in the first place had i not been with a large group of people who did spend a fair bit. The fools .

Absolutely disgusted with the attitude of the manager on duty on the 27th of Dec 23 we were a party of 5 who ordered separately 1 after the other at the same table 1 meal came out and our friend had to eat on her own while we waited for ours she also had to send hers back as was cold , my friend had finished her meal before the other 4 came out , we complained to the manager on duty who was extremely rude and offered no compensation for this other than blame her staff when I asked if possible we could have maybe a bottle of wine to compensate she said she wasn't allowed she became very argumentative and threw me out of the venue other people that were in the venue at the same time witnessed how we were treated I asked for her name was refused asked for who was above her and was also refused I have never been treated to badly

Came for a work Xmas party and it was amazing! Great buffet with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, a range of drinks included too, like cocktails, prosecco and beers.

Came here for 1st time out with friends in Sheffield Saturday evening. Busy venue,looks great place to spend a night for food dancing etc. Would like venue to explain why a woman in her 50s was challenged on thr door...for carrying 2 bags of chocolates in her hand?I had just purchased in a local supermarket and had not had chance to put in my bag. My handbag nor my friends were not searched, we could have been smuggling drinks in,as we witnessed several other people doing this in gift bags etc. On asking door security there reasoning they said food is available to purchase inside.Really?? I had to leave my chocolates I had just bought outside on a table in rain.Ruined. Nice venue for the young and trendy personally cannot understand this crazy rule,I'm hardly high risk in this day and age I could be carrying much worse than chocolates. Would like venue to justify please .

We came for my friend’s birthday and the private area with large table is a nice touch for celebrating together! The team brought sparklers out with the Prosecco too, which made it special! The cocktails are lush.

Hollie was a fantastic server! We had bottomless brunch here and it was well worth it. Hollie made sure we always had a drink, food was yummy! £30 for 2 hours bottomless brunch, fantastic value for money. It ended with our last drinks, sparklers and shots, lovely experience!

Taylor was great on bottomless brunch as usual and Felicia was really friendly too! Chappie the glass collector was smiley too

Had a bottomless brunch here with friends and we had an amazing time. The food was lovely - none of this cheap stuff often served at these type of events. The cocktails were really good and a perfect range was available. Finally the service throughout was excellent - I can highly recommend Taylor who dealt with us with a smile on her face throughout. Had a brilliant afternoon and would definitely recommend it!

Been here for drinks before, came to try food as i had a 2 for 1 voucher, food wasn't amazing but it was still nice, and not too expensive either, I had a New Yorker Burger & fries for £15.50, the cocktails were also 2 for 1 so had a few of those, service was very good, nice and polite staff.

Booked in for food. Left my wallet at work’t so didn’t have my ID. Told I’d only be allowed soft drinks even though I’m 27 and had 2 photos of my drivers license and passport and my partner is 27 too 😂 completely crazy I was looking forward to trying it but will definitely give it a miss! Now enjoying a meal and some drinks in pitcher and piano a lot more accommodating!

Louie was an excellent host, so attentive and happy to be of service anytime we needed him. Cocktails were delicious and food was great with good portion sizes (especially for a bottomless brunch) couldn't recommend enough - will come back again!

I used the ‘Meercat Meals’ offer which made it BOGOF on starters mains and desserts. I left a message beforehand and staff were up to date with the messages and super nice. Told us exactly what was included as well as other drinks offers. I’ve been before and they’re a super nice team. Flawless! The environment in this place is perfect for lunch, brunch, casual drinks in the day, fancy evening of drinks with cocktail dresses in the evening, dates etc- it’s an all rounder.

They don't deserve one star. I went with my son (13 years old) and my wife today. Lunchtime. Around midday. We got refused entry because we had the wrong kind of shorts on. He said the material looks too sporty. (They're fabric black shorts with a white t-shirt) I couldn't even get in with my family . I don't know who they think they are. But for a place that sells burgers, they Sure do treat potential clients awfully and think way too highly of themselves. The doorman just told us to go away and get changed 🤣 A dress code in the evening I understand. A baking hot Saturday afternoon wearing black shorts is not reason to flat out refuse us entry. Very rude staff. Paid £15.70 for a bottle of beer and a vodka/coke, tried to sit at several tables to drink them to be told each time "that's reserved". Times on tables said some not reserved for over 45 minutes but staff member "yes, but I've cleaned that". How long do you think it takes to drink a bottle of Peroni FFS? Last visit. Pretentious

Had a bottomless brunch with my two friends today. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely. Kept a discreet eye on the table and were there to top up our prosecco glasses and take cocktail orders whenever we needed a refill. The food was delicious, too. We'll definitely be back!

Me and my friend came here on Thursday to get a drink to celebrate her 21st Birthday. As we approached the bar, the bouncer asked to check our ID. We both gave him our IDs and he starts checking them with a UV torch. He gives my friends ID back to her but starts saying that mine is fake??? Even though I am 21 and bought it off the government website. He says it looks fake because my UV light is different from my friends. But if he knew anything about his job he should of known that the UV lights recently got changed last year. I know this because I work at a bar and we sometimes UV check IDs. My friends ID was a 2022 one whereas mine was from 2020 so obviously my UV won’t be the same as my friends. The bouncer wouldn’t listen and then started to say that I can’t have my ID back and that he is going to give it to the police. I start to get upset as I was going to uni on the Monday and have a festival coming up, so I need my id especially when this whole ordeal is so stupid and is all because this incompetent man didn’t know his facts. He then started to say that he had a complaint from tiger works saying a girl was trying to use a fake ID to get in 10 minutes prior to me and my friend coming to manhatta. This information had NOTHING to do with me and my friend as we were out at Pho having a civilised meal, then paid, then walked 2 min to come to manhatta. I even showed the bouncer a photo of our meal. He just wouldn’t listen to me it was so frustrating almost seemed like he was profiling us as there was no reason my ID seemed fake. He eventually got his colleague to come have a look and he didn’t really say anything at all. I tell the bouncer that I’m going to phone my mum as I wasn’t sure what to do as I needed to get my ID back. He didn’t believe I was on the phone to my mum and asked to speak with her to his surprise I was on the phone with her!!! At that stage the bouncers colleague tells him to give the ID back to me and then he also tells me I’m banned from coming here again !!??? Which is just ridiculous as I have done nothing wrong (I would never come back to this establishment anyway) Your staff need to educate themselves better so this doesn’t happen to other people it was so embarrassing for me and ruined my friends birthday. I have told all my friends and family about this place and none of us are ever going to come here. You should do better as your reputation doesn’t seem amazing looking at the other reviews.

We did the bottomless party in the evening and absolutely loved it. Eliza was brilliant at checking in to top up our prosecco and take our order for our next cocktails. Super service! Highly recommend everyone to try here. The only negative was that the music was too loud and we struggled to hear eachother around the table.

Three of us went for bottomless brunch and had a lovely time! Our server Louis was friendly and attentive and we always had a full glass. Would be 5 stars but they charge the same price regardless of whether you’re having alcohol or not which doesn’t make sense as there’s only 4 non alcoholic drink options besides the typical soft drinks. They brought us a surprise final tray of drinks (we didn’t know about it) which they charged us £3 for but these were all alcoholic which I couldn’t have. It was fun with sparklers but non alcoholic options or no surprise charge for this would’ve been nice.

We attended for brunch for my friends birthday on Saturday, it is the first time we have attended here and we were all looking forward to it, however the service was shocking we got 4 drinks each in 2 hours where as the table next to us got around 10 drinks each as we asked them. I'm all for music being played inside a bar when drinking as you can have a boogie but I thought the music was way too loud we couldn't hear each other and we had to shout to each other when talking. When we received our bill the amount was wrong as we had already paid a deposit when we made the booking, if my friend hadn't have noticed then we would have been charged too much (I think this is quite cheeky especially after a brunch when customers have had quite a lot to drink they may not notice). We complained to one of the waitresses about this service and she did give us a bottle of prosecco which we appreciated but it didn't make up for the disappointment for my friends birthday. When we were given the bill it was just left on our table nobody came over to collect the money from us we had to flag somebody down to do this.

Popped in of a weekday afternoon. Quiet but I suspect it gets busy in the evenings. Good drinks range. Clean.

Extremely slow service on a quiet night.

My partner and I visited shortly after opening and we absolutely loved the place, so we decided to revisit. I’m disappointed to say that the standards have massively dropped since our first visit. As we arrived we so happened to run into one of the servers who we asked if we could have a table for two or do we just seat ourselves, to which she replied ‘yeah, just sit wherever’. We easily ordered through the app - drinks came to the table fairly quick, however we waited 50 minutes for two starters and two mains considering it was very quiet and we were the only people who had ordered food. We were missing the sauces that we had ordered with our mains, but we weren’t able to catch anyone’s attention in order to ask for them. No one came to do checks backs on us even though there were a few people working on the floor. Food was nice, however not worth the poor customer service we received considering how pricey this place can be, therefore we will not recommend.

Place is absolutely beautiful, very aesthetic inside and out. The food is again amazing 10/10 further more I’d like to say i got full and couldn’t finish my burger so I asked it to be packed away and they made me a new burger and packed that away🥺❤️ Which I never experienced at any other restaurant so a big big Thank you to Hollie and other staff members for the consideration. The service was also 10/10 very sweet and professional thank you.

My foodie friend and I were keen to try this establishment but I know from experience it could go either way. We took advantage of the '2 for 1' cocktails (no mix and match), my friend had the loaded hot dog that looked great value for money and I had the vegan 'beyond meat' burger. For £15, I was expecting the size to be bigger but I guess I would put that simply down to the size of the patties available. They did pack it with fresh veggies, vegan cheese and sauce. We also choose to eat outside to soak up the remaining sunlight but when our server brought the food there was no cutlery, condiments and napkins offered. Maybe they didn't feel we needed them? For a place that has splashes of 'faux luxury' I found that a bit disappointing. I would go again however to try out other items on the menu and drool over the magnificent bar which was very large.

Lovely decor and amazing cocktails! I have been to New York many times and you really do get the new York cocktail bar feeling. Special thank you to the doorman "Dave" who intervened when my daughter was being hit on a little too aggressively by some older men pulling on her wrists. It was her 18th birthday last night and the first time she has been into town and it puts my mind at ease knowing there are strong capable men out there to protect people. Absolute credit to your establishment!

Had an amazing time doing bottomless brunch! The girl with the pink hair and short brown hair (sorry forgot their names) was really attentive and the drinks was really good! Especially the summer punch and apple spritzer which were our go to for the night 💕

A vibe of the old 80s style bar. Not a very extensive cocktail menu. Staff are helpful & knowledgeable about both food/ drink menus. Didn't have food on this occasion, but menu looked nice. Best cocktail for me was called Old Fashioned, which is whisky based.

Me and a friend were supposed to get a refund WEEKS ago! We called and they asked us to email. We both emailed and got no response!

First time in manahatta today, had a good time. The server Holly was amazing, very attentive and friendly, helping us whenever needed. Would definitely recommend here.

Nice cocktail bar with good food. I had the chicken ramen. The pickled cabbage was great and cut through the sweetness of the barbecue chicken perfectly. My girlfriend had the vegan hot dog, they didn't have vegan cheese but that was fine because shes just veggie anyway. They did have a surprising amount of veggie/vegan options which was appreciated. The hotdog was very nice although a bit too full and messier than hoped for. The cocktails we had were very nice and we both really appreciated the 'scan to order at table' service offered. I probably wouldn't recommend it for families but definitely a nice spot for a date or night out with friends. I will probably come back in future.

Racist Security Staff. In response to your claims, the man you are accusing of being intoxicated had had 2 drinks at that point, and we had just walked 3/4 of a mile to get to Manahatta as we are regular patrons. There was a woman outside that was severely intoxicated, and was being aided to by an actually helpful member of staff. Whilst, when me and my black friend approached, before even looking at him, the white, male, elderly security guard decided my friend was unable to enter the building. Even though we had just signalled to the staff to help with the woman you left outside your establishment, vulnerable, and clearly over-served. Honestly used to think this was such a nice place. But that man was disgusting and racist and there are no excuses for his behaviour or actions. I am prepared to make further official complaints (with reviewing of CCTV footage), showing us walking to the venue normally and trying to enter to spend our money on overpriced cocktails. Just FYI, this happened at around 11pm, and we continued our evening until 5am. Entering multiple non-discriminatory venues with no problem. Thanks for your response but excusing that behaviour is shocking and I for one will not be stepping foot in the place again. I have friends who work security and will advice them of the same. P.S. Visited on Sunday night and sat outside with the patio heaters. Ordering was quick and easy via the qr code on the table, although I could imagine on a busy night it may take a little longer. 2-4-1 on cocktails operates all day everyday ....except Saturday so Sunday night was great. We also ordered the nachos with beef and only critisism is it was a bit small. Having said that we did share between 3 of us and we'd had a very large lunch at 3pm, so this was a perfect portion. This is a very new venue so everything is beautiful. We loved it and will be cak whenever we come to Sheffield

I came for a Bottomless Brunch on Saturday with 3 others. It is definitely the best bottomless we have ever done. The food was incredible, I had the Steak Frites and it was definitely worth the little extra. Our waitress was Beth C, she was amazing and is definitely a credit to the business. We can't wait to come back!

Came to Manhattan after a bottomless brunch to continue the cocktails. Very impressed with the espresso martinis. It's very squashed in my opinion but it is a nice place to come in for cocktails. I'd like to come back for food. It's £12 for an espresso martini so it is on the expensive side, but I was impressed with the drinks

It's a nice place to go and have a few drinks, not cheap but not over priced, it's nice inside and play's good music, but it's not as big as I thought it was going to be and the balcony is full of people buying one drink and staying for hours so no chance of sitting there, and all the tables on a Saturday are always booked up so you will find it really hard to sit down,i really don't like when bar's do that but I do understand why they do it i just think it spoils it a little bit because it is small venue, it's just what Sheffield needs sadly there's not more bar's like this in the city

Great bar. Had bottomless brunch. All staff were brilliant. Great value for money, great choice of drinks that you could swap and change. Definitely be back soon.

Absolutely amazing thank you to molly who looked after us from beginning to end! Everyone is so nice and the cocktails are beautiful, the food... Wow just amazing!! Had the best time ever!

We had a bottomless brunch today and were very well looked after by Piotr who kept our glasses topped up and kept checking whether we wanted anything. The food was lovely and the drinks were the best we've had on a bottomless brunch, we will certainly be back. A perfect experience for a special birthday celebration!
