chicken was dry and burnt and instead of a coke can I was sent a lemon can from Aldi

We were at The Garage for a festival all weekend and this was the perfect spot for some food, so good in fact that we went both days! Everything was delicious : we had habanero lime wings, a rice box and a wrap on day one; Korean BBQ wings and a wrap on day 2 with peri salted chips. The fact that the food took 10 minutes to come meant it was all made fresh and it was piping hot and really tasty. Service was great too, really friendly. Definitely a step above other chicken shops and will one hundred percent be our go to whenever we're at gigs. Thank you!

I really love your chicken wings, maybe I'm getting a Chinese flavour out of them! Hahahahahahaha, I keep ordering one to take away from work and eating it when I get home while watching Neflix. Such cheap chicken wings are still so delicious, I don't know what those who leave bad reviews are asking for, they might be overly harsh on the world. Your staff is also very kind to me and I feel like I always receive a big portion. Be nice and kind to the staff and that little reward will warm up your life too.

Loved the food here. The variety here also separates itself from the standard chicken shop. The service is very friendly. I usually don't care much for the ambience of a fast food place because let's face it, that's not what they aim for but I was impressed by how clean and well maintained this place was. I will definitely be coming here regularly from now on

Ordered chicken wings and a whole chicken peri peri platter. Wings were dry as paper. Was told chicken would be ready in 15 min. Had to ask him again after 25 min and I was the only customer in the shop, his answer was I He was busy in his mobile/texting. Its been 33 min and still counting........ Chicken came after 5 more minutes thats 38 minutes. Chicken is dry inside and seems like it was cooked on oven before then grilled it. It went cold and dry chewey by the time I brought it home which is 2/3 minutes drive from the shop. By the way he fried the chips way before deliver the food and that went cold as well. Honesty speaking I will never visit this place again

I was feeling a bit peckish so stumbled inside this fine establishment, ordered 10 grilled chicken strips, sat down and started eating, very tasty, but halfway through my meal I realised that bossman only gave me 9 strips. I told him and without flinching he replied “no problem” couple minutes late he gave me not 1, not 2, but 3 extra strips. He literally rectify the error by giving me a bit more so I can be satisfied. That’s what you call customer service. Hold tight Bossman and that other brudda that was in the back.

I had lunch one day in the same place I loved the Quality and Taste of Food it is prepared with a very perfect quality of taste. One of the staff members who is always there and running for us to provide a better service and makw sure that what we ordered is accordingly made. They staff is Friendly and cooperative sometimes they also give you discount and extra meals on a special Day. I had also recommended to my friends and we had came there for dinner one I am just surprised that they always maintain there quality of food cleanest environment and services. A 100% level of satisfaction and I recommend this to all once you need to try Big Papas peri peri believe me you gonna love it. Thanks Team Big Papas.

Had a bad experience with the staff today. Me and my wife and children, after a long day at the funfair came to order the food. However I was needing the toilet so I had the member of staff and he said they don't have a toilet and go to tesco. Bearing in mind we also paid over £30 for our food and the least he could have done was be helpful and let me use the toilet. Instead he was rude and disrespectful. Not happy at all. We came all the way from East London. The rude staff memebr shouted and said wasn't his problem. Disgusting behaviour The staff member also said he doesn't have a toilet meaning tye owner of the business doesn't even give his own staff toilets and then to say its because its health and safety reason. What a joke. You got our money and yes it's about providing a helpful service. Because of the rude and awful attitude your getting a 1 star review. Do not lie sating we swore at him. We was there eating in.

Absolutely tiny wings not acceptable

Previously, due to a one off slip up, I didn’t have a good experience with this place. However, after my review, the owner invited me to come in to rectify the mistake. The owner was a very very nice person, ensured my meal was up to scratch and was willing to remake it again if it wasn’t right - it was perfect though so absolutely no need. He offered an explanation as to what went wrong last time, and overall my experience was very pleasant. Now the food this time was great- well priced too for London. Will definitely frequent this place for my lunch whenever I’m in Islington! Definitely recommend, I’m satisfied with yummy meal now.

Peri peri was bang on just like it is when I've ordered it from the shop tasty hot not dry shame it wasn't as a meal would be better value as the burger alone was pricy.

hi, sorry for the inconvenience but as i open the box of wings i cant feel any heat coming off of it, the fries too. i eat it and its cold and stale. i would like a refund or at least credit. thanks for your time.

Actually can’t believe this place has the rating it does, deserves way higher. I’ve ordered here a few times now. It’s sometimes really difficult to find a place on delivery where the food is hot and still tasty when it arrives but this place is always fantastic. It’s become my go to because it’s consistent and the food is actually fantastic. How they got both fried and grilled chicken perfect I don’t know. Tasty, hot food, amazing prices and quick service. Thanks for the extra ketchup also!

I called up the restaurant to double check they had the pieces of chicken I eat. They confirm so I proceeded with my order online also putting a note on the order. Food came and the chicken pieces I was promised wasn’t I what I got. I began eating it and noticed the chicken wasn’t cooked properly. See attached photos of “RAW CHICKEN”

Food was cold and bland with no taste of peri peri just plain chicken. Chips were hard and overcooked. I would like a full refund.

Paid £4.80 for a chicken burger, chips and drink. Chips were inconsistent in texture. Some fresh, some rock hard. Chicken fillet burger was small.

Ate the food about 45 mins ago and the only meal of the day - definitely food poisoning as have the worst cramps and will probably be out of action for a few days. If this shop is a franchise I will definitely be complaining. Also, the bad attitude towards customers is appalling.

Food good took some time getting the food

Worst chicken filler burger I've ever had, the bun seem to have been found behind the fridge, it was completely stale and tasted old, the chicken should be an embarrassment for big papa, the coating was soggy and a little slimy and the flesh looked budget, i won't be back and I would not recommend to anyone, there are plenty of good chicken shops in holloway Road, if you're hungry and you see big papa's, just keep walking you will soon find a chicken shop that care about the quality they serve.

Grilled chicken is good but it's not the cheapest place either.

Ordered 4/5 meals worth of food which came up to a grand total of roughly £50 which was not worth so much for the standard of food. (1) lack of food quality. Wings extremely small and brittle. (EXTEMELY SMALL WINGS) (2) burgers typical fast food quality. Ratio of bun to chicken lacking. Burger bun too small for the chicken. 3/5. (3) no special burger meal offers which offer fries at least. £2 for basic fries nothing special at all l even then price does not justify a typical order for one person. (4) wings meal was less than half full. Small box which was still quite empty. Just think about it a customer such as my self orders a big order you would provide your attention to getting everything in yet no attention was given clearly.

Best chicken shop in the area, easily. the premise is clean, the manager is a good guy, and the chicken and wings are pretty good.

The chicken lacked any seasoning and the mild and bbq flavour were non existent. We had a big order and were dissapointed the wings were the smallest i had ever seen.
