Royal Star in Islington

My family and I went here twice during our stay in the area and it was great. Awesome beer garden, fun vibes, and excellent food.

Awesome experience! The atmosphere was very calming and mellow! The Fish and Chips were tops! And the waiter was very professional and polite! A lovely time!

We left satisfied because the food was very delicious. We recommend the club salad and the pizzas too.

Great vibe. Super friendly staff. Loved the food. I'm gluten intolerant so being able to get a gluten free pizza was amazing! It was so delicious too. Hubby had a good ol' fashioned base and the pizza looked so so good. Had garlic and chilli oils to jazz things up if we wanted too. Definitely be back.

Really enjoyed this spot for a late lunch! Tried the pizza and blue cheese burger with fries and everything was excellent. Great beer and cocktails too.

Staying in London for 4 days down the road at Premier Inn. Visited for food on our last night and what a find. We had a lovely welcome, the host was freindly and attentive throughout. The table service was extremely refreshing and the choice of ales and food was very extensive, offering superb value. Would definitely return 👍

Pleasant, open until 1am. Difficulty judging accessibility, being my first evening in London. Warm staff. Tasty chips. Excellent cider, reminiscent of a frizzante white wine. Clean place.

Nice pub, good decor and prices are reasonable for the area - multiple pints under £7 (which I still can't believe is the bar in London these days). Nachos were good, and the bartender was able to give advice on gluten free options for the celiac in our group. Only disappointment was the range of beers on tap was limited and very commercial - there were no 'interesting' beers, which I always like, but the basics were covered.

My local pub, can be very busy on Thursdays the new Friday. If you do go with friends might be worth booking a table for yourselves inside or outside.

I come every other week with my fencing club and the staff is always lovely and the food is satisfying.

We had a really nice time here. We loved the music and vibe. All of the employees were friendly and the food came out quickly. Our drinks and pizza were great and we’d order all of them again. My partner loved adding the chilli oil to his half. We would definitely come back the next time we are in the neighborhood.

Can't rate the food as I've only had Tequila Sunrises... but as a Yorkshire lad I'd say the service here is the standard I'd expect (very nice cocktails)!!! And the atmosphere at 3pm is very pleasant :)

Ordered the Soho pizza. It was done literally after 5 minutes. It's so good, especially when you're out of time. Hot, crunchy, thin and soft at the same time. The best what can be. There is lots of space, terrace and nice neaty room close to yard. Came to kill time before event but actually enjoyed much being here😊
