Very bad behaviour, never back

My mates and I wanted to go because we saw Barbican Cafe had really good reviews. We were just overjoyed at how spectacular and amazing our meals were!!! I got the full English breakfast and it was HEAVEN!!!!! I mean it was the most -perfect- breakfast ever!! Thank you to the lovely Barbican Cafe!!!!!

Food was delicious but the lady who served me got my drink wrong then when I pointed this out proceeded to try to show me where she had written what I had ‘ordered’ when I had pointed at the menu when I initially ordered it then she gave me a dirty look before walking away?? Anyway one of the other staff members heard this and got me the correct drink and it was lovely :) I’ll assume the first server was new and I hope her customer service improves with experience.

Visiting from USA we had an awesome time at this quaint restaurant. The meal was superb. The portions were huge. The atmosphere felt like back home. If you ever visit don’t miss this lil gem!

They offer excellent service and delicious food at very affordable prices. They also provide a student discount. Highly recommended!

Restaurant for breakfast or lunch, the service from the owners is very good, they are very friendly and attentive, they offer you traditional full English Breakfast dishes with good quality and flavor.

The store had a great atmosphere and the staff was great! The food is delicious, satisfying, and very cost-effective. We're open from the morning on Sundays, so that's helpful!

Absolutely love this place! Tasty brunch, friendly atmosphere and good coffee! Best way to start Sunday. We walked-in on Sunday ~11am, were lucky get a table without waiting.

Barbican Cafe is one of the best places for breakfast in London. The service is always friendly, the portions are generous, and the food is consistently great. I had the smoked salmon breakfast and it was delicious. Highly recommend for a delicious and satisfying start to the day!

When you get tired of the bland food from high end chains, come here for the real thing.

The place is adorable. I love the decoration and whole vibe it’s so summery and beach/gardeny. There’s so many food options I’d definitely recommend going for brunch with friends. The food was so good and really cutely presented (with little flowers and all) and the prices were more than decent (breakfast food + fresh juice/smoothie) for 16£). The waitresses were super nice. My friend and me loved it we will be coming back

Chef’s kiss!! I had the PERFECT breakfast. I had the Smashed Avocado breakfast and Latte and my friend had the Healthy breakfast and Mocha. Both meals were beautiful and delicious!! Great attention to delay and flavor. And the service was very friendly. This quant restaurant is a 10/10!

Great Full English Breakfast. The plate is enough to make you feel full.

Charming backstreet cafe. On the surface it appears to be not much more than your average neighbourhood greasy spoon but there is a fantastically varied menu - my wife and I had very different breakfasts, both prepared and presented (the flowers!) beautifully and priced attractively. A real mixed clientele showed this was a local favourite and they seemed happy to accommodate all kinds of requests. Strongly recommended!

Service was not ideal, however, the variety of food offered is very broad

So glad that I discovered this place! The breakfast / brunch is tasty, with great portions and above all presented so beautifully! I think the flowers are such a nice touch. Great service and friendly staff too 😊 oh and the coffee here is lovely!

Cozy little restaurant with fun murals, although a bit cramped. Very large selection on the menu. Here you can get everything from a full English breakfast to a Snickers milkshake. Everything very fresh and prepared with love. An absolute recommendation.

This place is an absolute gem! Cannot recommend more. I was delighted with the vegan breakfast. My partner had the full English. Cumberland sausage was especially nice. Carrot juice perfectly done. Tea was beautifully presented. Best hash browns we've tasted and you get flowers on your plate.

This hidden gem serves generous portions at prices that won't make your wallet weep-with food that's prettier and tastier than what you'll find at most of London's posh brunch palaces. A brilliant Mothering Sunday brunch. My good friend kept mentioning how great this place is so after getting back into London I thought I meet her there. It was great indeed. I love anything that has lamb in it. They had exactly what I wanted, good quality lamb shanks and the fries were cooked just the way I love t, nice and crispy golden brown. The coffee was splendidly tasty and the owners went out of their way to give us a great meal and wonderful time. Splendid hosts and their smiles and hospitality made it a family intimate experience. Today visited the Barbican Cafe and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Despite the staff being polite and offering apologies, the service was unacceptably slow. We waited 25 minutes just to place our order, even after approaching the till three times, only to be assured that someone would come to our table. After this prolonged wait, our drinks and toast arrived, but the main components of our full English breakfast took nearly 50 minutes to be served. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and mediocre at best. I understand that the cafe was busy, but this level of service is unacceptable. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I do not recommend the Barbican Cafe and will not be returning.

We just got off a flight from Bali straight here for a full English, food was sensational 9/10 only thing was the black pudding wasn’t the best but can’t fault anything else! Will defo be back when in London again

English Breakfast so good it left me thinking about it for the rest of the day. Lovely staff and vibes, too. Can get a bit noisy when it's busy because it's rather small, but it's still manageable. And the food is so worth it.

All cooked from scratch using fresh produce and they take pride in their food. Friendly welcome too. If you are in the area definitely worth visiting. They have a vegan english breakfast and it's actually very, very good, and they veganised one other dish for us, still at least one or two more vegan options would be nice
