My experience was really good. My boyfriend and me have had breakfast here twice because we wanted to repeat their delicious meals. The personal were super kind and the place itself was very cute. Thanks for everything : ) If I ever come back to London I will definitely come back here.

Really good breakfasts, with very balanced ingredients having salad and fruit. The presentation is really good and the food itself tastes great!

Genuinely traditional generous breakfasts with proper cappuccino. Tasty main meals too.

The food is very good, the dishes super generous, the smile of the waitress comes from the heart! The atmosphere is very quiet, the music is not too loud, the muffled sounds of the open kitchen make you hungry! The seats are comfortable, the tables stable, everything is clean and bright! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

We were a group of 20 people excited for a weekend treat, but our experience at Barbican Café was absolutely terrible. The owner was extremely rude from the moment we arrived. He brought us the wrong food and drinks, and when we tried to politely address the mistake, he became hostile. Shockingly, he even told us, ‘This is my shop, I’ll do whatever I want,’ before rudely asking us to leave. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I would strongly advise against visiting this place.

The restaurant had poor service, with unprofessional and rude owners. Additionally, they failed to distinguish between hot smoked and cold smoked salmon, which reflects a lack of attention to detail.

The owner not only served the wrong food and drinks to multiple people in our party but reacted with hostility when we politely pointed out the mistakes. His attitude escalated to the point where he openly declared, ‘This is my shop, I’ll do whatever I want,’ as if that justified his rude and dismissive behavior. In a completely unprofessional manner, he then told us to leave. I’ve never seen such a blatant disregard for basic hospitality, and it left all of us deeply disappointed. This is not how any café should be run, let alone one in such a renowned location.”

It was very delicious. The store is stylish, and the menu is rich, fresh, and plentiful! The smoothie, hot chocolate, and coffee were great! The beans are even more delicious when eaten on the bread provided (the bread is freshly baked and delicious)! Bacon, sausage, and salad are great! !

my first visit at Barbican Cafe was so lovely 🥰 the people working here are so sweet, it gives the start of your day a boost of happiness. If you’re a solo traveler and you have a bad day, swing by here for a shot of kindness. Food was also good and the mocha was yummy, but the biggest selling point of the place are the people. Atmosphere is also nice, especially if you get the bouncing light of the morning sun. (For my veggi fellows: decent vegetatian options and also vegan milk available)

Absolutely lovely hidden gem. Food was absolutely beautiful. The turkey breakfast covered everything I wanted in perfect portions so I was full but not stuffed. It offered pancakes and syrup with small fruits chopped on top, turkey bacon, hash browns, beans in a pot so it didn't spoil the rest of the food, halloumi. It was delicious! Great prices too and coffees were soo well presented and perfect. Great place! Staff are super friendly. Lovely chill atmosphere that made me feel like I was on holiday xxx

Each visit, I've been warmly greeted by the owners and waiters, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for its delicious meals and friendly atmosphere!

Barbican Cafe on Lever Street is a hidden gem! The cafe's interior was small and cozy. It's welcoming vibe is enhanced by its front of house leading lady! I ordered the Eggs Benedict Avocado . The presentation was a work of art...prepared by someone who loves and knows how to combine fresh and simple food to create a wonderful and memorable dish. Coffee was also to die for. Will definitely be back again!

This is a most excellent spot! Came here for breakfast and wish I would have known it was here sooner during my stay at the NHow. There is a great variety of prices and offerings. I had the “Healthy Breakfast” and it was delicious. The cafe is decorated very cute and the coffee was fantastic as well!

My husband, mother-in-law, and I stopped here for breakfast before our flight out, and it was the best place we tried during our one-week trip. Everything was fresh, and they paid a lot of attention to detail. Every dish was super flavorful. We ordered smoothies, breakfast, and even sandwiches to take with us to the airport because it was so good. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit. The prices were also very fair.

My local cafe, which i go every morning before work. The breakfast is always beautiful, i recommend the traditional! But most of all is the latte and the beautiful lady that makes the latte (Denislava) who as the best smile. A lovely cafe with lovely staff.

This is our fave cafe we always get lasagne and chips and it is INCREDIBLE!!! THE TURKEY BREAKFAST IS ALSO AMAZING and the people are just so friendly defo cant recomend enough :)

Unfortunately not good scrambled eggs, squidgy, wet and not enough, the rest of breakfast was very nice although we ordered granary toast but got white. Also got my drink wrong but was happy to change it ☺️
