Stayed with my daughter for a couple of nights before the school term restarts. Room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet with a gorgeous view of the Welsh countryside. Breakfast was lovely and filling. A real shame they don't do evening meals as it meant we ended up with takeaways in the car as I wasn't sure if we'd be allowed to bring in hot food. That aside, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.
Popped in for a quick lunch as I have been meaning to visit for ages. I was not disappointed. The warmth of the lovely welcome was matched by the glowing woodburner. The menu and specials covered everything from traditional Welsh Rarebit to Patagonian and Korean!
As it was my first visit I plumped for the traditional with a lovely flat white.
The star of the show came with an excellent side salad and some amazing cranberry chutney.
Will I be back? Definitely, the Fiery Patagonian is calling my name.
In summary a fantastic place with lovely welcoming staff and amazing food.
My advice is don’t miss it.
Lovely place to dine nicely decorated and set out. Service from staff was first class , friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and presented well . Would highly recommend
Excellent service
Visiting wales called into this lovely little deli/cafe with my hubby and 2 dogs
Although dogs not allowed inside they couldn’t do enough for us
Found a bowl for the dogs to have a drink and had a great Brie/cranberry and bacon ciabatta delicious
Well worth a visit
We stopped for an icecream on a miserable day
The welcome was warm and the icecream was delicious
I had an affogato and my partner had two scoops of ice cream mint chocolate chip and vanilla both were superb
This is the best place to go for lunch a cuppa, the loveliest people you will ever meet so friendly and kind and welcoming I love going here and will continue going here 😊
Love, love love this coffee shop and deli. Tucked away far from the madding crowd, this delightful place is located right at the far end of Fowey high street. A lot of tourists probably wouldn't venture far enough to come across this place, which kind of makes it all the better. Greeted by the friendly owners on arrival, we liked the look of the deli produce so hoped that their coffee would also be good. At first we thought the prices were a bit steep, but ordered anyway. All I can say is - you get what you pay for sometimes. We were not disappointed! Probably the best coffee (double espresso) we've had in this country. The coffee is organic and from a very small producer. It was so good that we made a special trip the next day purely to park up and go back for another coffee! Also tried one of the little Italian patisserie bites (can't remember what they are called, but similar to cannoli) - again, better than we've had anywhere else - fresh and full of filling. Just disappointed we didn't time it for lunch as the panini options sounded lovely and you just know the quality would be great! 10/10
The food and service is always great.
Have been to Fika a few times now, the ultimate breakfast bagel and chicken pesto are my faves.
Dog friendly and lush coffee 🐶
Second visit in as many weeks, this time for a Marmara breakfast. What a wonderful meal for the two of us, a lovely selection of cheeses, meats, pastries, bread, olives, jam, honey and menem - eggs scrambled with peppers, tomatoes and onions.
Deliciously simple and very moreish meaning another visit is on the cards soon, not least for the wonderful family who run the place.
Highly recommended!
A Hidden Gem with Delicious Home-Cooked Food and a Warm Welcome!
We had the absolute pleasure of visiting Caffi Hen Felin and were so impressed by the whole experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a genuinely warm and friendly welcome from the lovely ladies working there—it immediately set the tone for a lovely visit.
The food was excellent—proper home-cooked comfort food done right. We had a cheese and onion quiche with salad, and a tuna and cheese panini, both of which were absolutely gorgeous. The tomato relish served alongside added the perfect touch of flavour . Generous portions and very reasonable prices made it even better!
We couldn’t resist taking some cakes home with us—a slice of rocky road and an orange and chocolate cake. Both were divine, rich, and clearly homemade with care.
Caffi Hen Felin is a true gem—cozy, welcoming, and serving fantastic food. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
On our way to the lagoon we drove past this cafe. It looks great on the hill with the backdrops so we decided to stop in the next layby, turn back round and go in. The gardens there are cool and I got a plant. What I was not expecting at all was ice cream.... my word it was 10/10, I had to go back in and ask about it afterwards and I was informed it is made there as well. You can tell, no chemical nonsense like most ice creams or even ones that claim they are "fresh". This was another level. I am a ice cream fanatic, I live by the sea and have one most days, Worldwide I try to find the best galato's. I would say this was the best freshest ice cream I have ever had. My other half had the lime/ginger one and said it was incredible too. I will return here next time I come to Pembrokeshire for sure!
