Fish and chips are the best around and the service is fantastic,very friendly staff,the owner looks grumpy but really very nice lol

A great local chippy just a 20-minute walk from the town centre. Popped in one midweek afternoon. Good service and very good fish & chips. Reasonably priced and delicious too! Recommended.

Completly recommend, went here tonight for the first time with my partner and daughter, the food was so good best fish and chips even down to the tarta sauce and bread buns was nice and the prices was so good

Certainly changed over the last 5 years or so. Food portions are now much smaller. Standard 'going thru the motions' service.

Horrible and disgusting fish and chips over cooked fish and the chips .taste like if they have been cooked last year or before etc..they don't look appetising what's so ever....and to top it all you wouldn't believe we I should say my mother opened her peas out of the container to put on her fish and chips only to find a large hair in the peas ... absolutely disgusting...they don't even deserve one star🥺🙈😭.... AVOID, AVOID AND AVOID.....😥☹️

Really good chips, absolutely lovely staff and good value, it's become a regular take away stop off for us in the evening. I don't think you could ask for anything more from a chippie, thanks guys. Cash only but the THREE(!!) types of delicious curry sauce more than make up for it :)

A fabulous place, such an amazing atmosphere. Beautiful views across the bay and to the castle. The team were fabulous, can’t rate them highly enough. It was our anniversary and they made it really special. The food was delicious, local and beautifully presented

Fantastic venue and amazing food. The views are incredible and well worth the visit. We ordered blade of beef and the calzone with a side of chilli broccoli and cannot fault anything. The service was also bang on.

Rude staff, unhelpful, terrible attitude. created an uncomfortable and uneccesary atmosphere, will not be returning.

¡El pez espada fue honestamente el mejor que he tenido! El servicio fue atento, relajado y amable. Las patatas fritas no eran las mejores, hubiera preferido patatas fritas recién hechas pero tbh, no vine por las patatas fritas, vine por el pulpo y me quedé por el pez espada! Todo el pescado estaba fresco y cocinado a la perfección con sabores muy bien considerados y equilibrados: ) ¡No puedo culpar a este lugar en general! Volverá la defo. Cada comida fue increíble y el chef fue flexible con hacer variaciones en los platos que nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos y valorados. La mejor comida que hemos tenido en Swansea en mucho tiempo y volvería defo! Creo que hasta Gordon Ramsay disfrutaría comiendo aquí😜 gracias chicos. Gran grito a Protharn y Lorita. We visited a few times during our long weekend in Pennal and received a warm welcome each time. We had a delicious meal one night and were spoilt for choice with the menu including a specials board promoting local meats (would recommend booking a table for dinner). A great selection of beers but we opted for the very tasty Welsh beer, Largo, and enjoyed a Shiraz on another visit. Clearly popular with the local community and very welcoming to visitors too, we’ll definitely return to enjoy the food and the beer garden again.
