Great food and really pleasant delivery driver.

The food was tasty, but it arrived cold, so it went in the microwave. A bit disappointing.

Incomplete order. No Irish curry delivered. Although admittedly my fault, I also ordered fish assuming it came with chips. It didn't. As I say my fault but I wish that it was made clear when ordering. Disappointed!

Regular cod ordered received oap, used to buy from here regularly but the quality has dropped and the prices hiked

Food was very poor, chips tasted days old and were of a horrible texture, pie was overcooked and the fish was both very small and bland. Usually much better than this, probably will go elsewhere in future.

Delivery was good, chips were lovely unfortunately the curry sauce I ordered was watery and had a horrible taste so was inedible.

Very efficient delivery, friendly driver. Food was nice and hot, everything was present I ordered. The Chicken & mushroom curry was really tasty, however for nearly £9 I would have expected a little more chicken! Aside from this minor issues I would certainly recommend them and will order again.

Delivery time kept changing constantly and when it eventually come the chips were like the scraps at the end of the night and cold and the sausage in batters could have broken someone’s teeth it was that hard. Would never order again. Save your money

worse food we have had from hickory's,chips looked like they were from dinner time,all soggy and luke warm,be a long time before we order from them

Food was delivered later than I'd specified - 12:45pm instead of 12:35 pm, I'd ordered it to be delivered at that time specifically because I had small window to eat and a taxi to take me to work at 1pm.

Fish was perfect cooked beautiful, batter was perfect, Bread rolls were also perfect, Chips were cold, when i pulled chips out of the bag, they went everywhere all over the floor, would suggest double wrapping chips...

no delivery i won't be ordering again , got 3 hungry kids now phone the fish shop and the woman on the phone said that they couldn't give me any details on my order has it says it been delivered

We got someone else's order and was told to ask just eat for a refund, so no food for us tonight.

I visited this fine establishment sometime last week for the first time! The service was outstanding some honourable mentions to the chef Nadine, my fish was cooked to perfection, perfect combination of crisp and moist. I asked their names so i could write this review, Millie and Tiana the servers were so polite and handled my order perfectly, they advised me on the different types of curry sauce which really helped my selection. Will 100% visit again if i am back in the area. AMAZING CHIPPY ZERO COMPLAINTS!!!!!

We will not be returning following the rude staff and stale food. We ordered fish and chips with battered sausage and unfortunately all of it was inedible and most went in the bin. The staff are rude and do not want to be there, we were very disappointed.

I didn't make a particularly large order, yet the jumbo sausage was missing. Overload on the salt on the chips to the point they are inedible anyway and pretty stale. Very disappointed ☹️

Surprised that this outfit has a rating of 4.5, as the chips were inedible. Not fresh and many of them were very gritty. I have no idea why.

Food was lovely as always only downside was there was no lemon on the fish and hardly any chips

My battered sausage wasn’t cooked had flour still on it so wasn’t happy about that

I always get my fish and chips from hikarys,as they are the best,but this time the fish and chips were not hot ,for the first time .I dont know if thats hikarys fault or the delivery. But i would order again from there.Or collect them myself.

It was only on time because it kept changing the time Got to say good was so delicious just gutted it took over an hour to get here but was worth the wait as kids really enjoyed

The chicken was drier than the Sahara dessert, the sausages had on odd flavour and were rubbery the chips where just about cooked fine for the bare minimum, the curry sauces tasted like they were made from a powder packet, the pie was greasy and not warm and the rissoles tasted like old socks with cheese in them best part of the food was the drinks congratulations on the worst food never ordering from you again

I ordered on delivery. Can't comment on atmosphere. This place was recommended by my neighbour. I ordered large cod, small chips, Irish curry sauce, mushy peas and tartare sauce. The fish was a reasonable size but not thick, the batter was thin and ok. I prefer bubbly very crisp batter. I didn't like the skin left on as you waste the batter and the fish was a bit wet and grey underneath (not great). There were far too many chips and they were bitty rather than whole and fat. The Irish curry sauce was lovely. Peas OK and home made tartar is a nice touch. I wouldn't order from there again. Sorry guys.

Been coming here regularly for 7 years food tonight fish was raw uncooked,chips were raw undercooked sausage in batter batter not cooked won’t be coming back total waste of £ 20

Wanted to try this place for ages because of good reviews. It's way more expensive than most chippy takeawys. I paid about £7 + for fish which was miniscule when I saw it. Total rip off. Chips were OK but I've been to lots of proper award winning chippys in Wales and beyond. I rate this one very lower end and I definitely will not be returning.

The worst curry sauce i have ever tried, not traditional curry sauce tastes cheap and powdery it was the worst curry ive eve had from a chippy. Disappointed

Waited for delivery, and got message that food was outside, couldnt find it anywhere, went back out a second time and i could see it on my next door neighbours step.By then it was not as hot as it should be.as it was delivered to the wrong house
