Margam Fish Bar in Neath Port Talbot

First time order from this restaurant and boy it did not disappoint. Yes we ordered late and the delivery time was proportionate so we cannot complain about it. Very tasty and plentiful food and very well priced. Highly recommended and will definitely order again thanks guys

Tasty food and good portions for the price

Food very poor. Burned sausages, undercooked and soggy fish, all not very warm. Poor.

Awful, chips were full of greece, mush, burnt sausages, worse food we have had from any takeaway.

Used to br nice food, chips today burnt old and cold. Will not he going back.

Awful chips old overcooked or cooked in old oilOnly ordered some pies with chips and 2 soft drinks but meal was totally ruined as had to throw chips away just so annoying how someone could serve that as ok to go

All the beans leaked out from the carton into the bag, so very little left on the jacket potato. Maybe bag needs to be handled or packed better

Absolutely disgusting black and green chips, inedible and had to go in the bin. How you can send out food looking like that is beyond me

Chips were burnt, I be ashamed to sell them, Rissols have a burnt/ plastic taste to them could not eat chips or the 3 Rissols, tuna jacket was ok. Condition of the chips and Rissols has put me off. Terrible

When the kebab is cut by the owners it’s delicious but anyone else seems awful had thick burnt chunks of a kebab and a handful of chips on the large kebab so wasted the money on it because it’s horrible.

Margam Chippy used to be the best place around, but chips are cold & dry won’t be ordering from here again 😞

Food was lovely as always but the new pots u use to put the sauces in aren’t very secure-second delivery when the top of gravy pot came off- not a huge deal but just for you to be aware x

The order was wrong - ordered a chicken and mushroom pie and large battered sausage with curry sauce. Received a small sausage, a cheese onion fritter and gravy…end of the night quality. Plenty of chippie options around the town, won’t be rushing back to this one

Had throw the while order in food bin. Rissoles were dreadfully made, barely saw any corned beef, and chunks of cold potatoes in the rissole. The Chios were all mulched and stuck together. Inedible order and be thrown.

Although on time it was as an hour and a half wait from ordering to getting the food. Fab food though

Had food delivered, missing item from my order, by the time we had it the rest of us had finished our food. Delivery driver banging hard on the window of my nieces bedroom while she was trying to get her baby to sleep. when I answered the door I got greeted with “IVE BEEN HERE A WHILE” with terrible attitude. Sorry but you shouldn’t have forgotten half the order in the first place, sorry would have been better or call to say that you were here, I have bad hearing. Disgusted with that service.

By the time my order got here. It was freezing cold burger was dry and hard as for salad half of a cucumber and half of a tomato will never order again I ended up walking to McDonald's as food was in un-edible.

Childrens meal advertised with free toy and lollipop did not contain either. Grand kids very disappointed on opening their meals .Went back to the shop to point out the mistake only to be told with a shrug of the shoulders that they’d run out of lollipops and had no toys.I consider this gross missrepresention and no way to treat a child

Love the food here but literally everytime we order the food ends up all over inside the bag, wast of time and money really which is a shame. Sauces poor out onto other containers and you spend more time cleaning up than eating whats left. Also cross contamination would be a risk if food allergies are involved as everything is at risk of mixing.

Excellent service chips the way I like them. Spotlessly clean very helpful staff . Pleasure to call on way home from a holiday abroad .

Huge portion of fish with lovely fresh chips

I love this place! Food is amazing, my grandfather has fish every Friday and it beautiful, light and crispy batter 🤤 we had a delivery last weekend and ordered a kebab as we had never had one from there before, all I can say is WOW! Never have I tasted a kebab like it! So fresh and tasty with a little kick to tingle your taste buds! I can’t imagine ever going somewhere else for our takeaway needs anymore. Five ⭐️

After asking for food to be hot as cold last time it still turned up cold

Ordered online and left a note to have kebab meat really well done also phoned just to make sure inccase they missed the note the woman on phone said it ok we read note turned up not done at all not the first time either maybe someone can't read tbf i wouldn't have fed it to my dog

The chicken curry rice and chips is to die for aswell as the batterd sausage but just to let you know you must spend minimum of £5 on card transactions in the shop but it has never been a problem for me personally by far the best chip shop in the area

I only live 2 Seconds down the road as children are not very well I did an over an hour and a haoff only no and 2 seconds away when food car 2 sausages absolutely freezing mushy peas absolutely refreeze them gravy

Margam Fish Bar has become our regular fish shop takeaway service - due to their quality food & service. The food is always cooked well, generously sized portions, speedy delivery (despite living down Margam village) and overall excellent value for money. I would recommend this chippy 👌

Unfortunately, I have to say that is the worst kebab meat I have ever had. The meat was cold, and like ovetcooked spicy paper, and just to add insult to injury, no coleslaw. Such a shame as the last one I had was gorgeous.
