An excellent selection of meals, I had a potato and spinach curry with rice. Great service, meals cooked to order. Prices to suit the pocket.
Also available is a great selection of sweet and savoury delight.

The horseshoe inn is a outstanding establishment. It offers a wide and varied selection of food and drinks all of which are served to an extremely good standard. The owner Darren always very accommodating and happy to help where he can. Will definitely be visiting again.

We had an excellent stay at Morgan's. Amy and Ben gave us such a warm welcome, and we were thrilled to receive a complimentary upgrade to the stunning Henry Belle suite—full of beautiful period features and grand, elegant décor. The bar had a lovely, relaxed ambience—perfect for a pre-show drink before heading to the Grand. Breakfast was another highlight, with an impressive selection of fresh produce alongside a delicious full cooked option. We’ll definitely be back!

Unfriendly reception, pillows with all give and no support, air conditioning switches off randomly, leaving you waking up in sweat in the middle of the night, unusable free wifi. Two stars for hot water in shower.
Well, it’s not often do I take to Trustpilot to write a review , but today I feel I have even if it’s to inform the management of our bitterly disappointed visit. We have been regular customers of this family restaurant when it 1st opened on the power station hill several years ago.Sadly their tenancy came to an end and there threatened with closure so they relocated to Trallwn ( inside The Central Hotel) On arrival last night we were met with a scruffy exterior , with a piece of A4 stuck to an internal door stating ‘Cinomen Tree’ the other external door onto the pavement still had the expanding foam around the door which nobody had bothered to see to.
Basically they have hired two rooms of the Central and with a very quick decoration job have put the original tables and chairs that were in Treforest. I decor was tatty and looked rushed wherever you looked. Food remained on the ££££ side both my husbands and my Sons Currys had to be returned because they were cold. The service was VERY SLOW, with just the older female and what appeared to be her daughter on restaurant floor it only had three tables in the restaurant we were one of 5, and there were two other couples . We all waited almost an hour for the main course. There appears to be a much stronger presence of ‘Just Eat’ couriers and instead of this place being a classy restaurant with the occasional customer coming in for a take out It’s now more like an Indian Take away with a few tables for people to sit and enjoy a nice meal in the restaurant !
This is such a shame because we used to really enjoy going to this restaurant ?. There were no waiters who attended our table or even asked if our meal was OK… There always used to be several staff floating in Treforest to ensure you were enjoying your evening !
To add insult to injury when I asked to pay the £150.00 bill I was handed a piece of cardboard which asked either for CASH or payment by bankers transfer… I’ve never been asked to pay like this ever it’s always been via card at the table .
Hence , this will be the last time we as a family will frequent a restaurant that used to demand 5 STARS on this site …. to just ONE ?!!
VERY POOR
VERY DISAPPOINTING ,
NOT TO STANDARD OF FOOD YOU WOULD HAVE EXPECTED
AND…….
SUB-STANDARD

Me and 11 friends visited this pub on Saturday evening. We weren’t sure what to expect as it never seemed that busy but decided to give it a try based on some good reviews and the proximity to our hotel. The bar and outside space was quite busy but the restaurant wasn’t! None of the 12 people had anything good to say about their meal. The Welsh rarebit starter was frankly awful (no cheese!) and the beef and chicken burgers were very average at best! I expressed my disappointment about the Welsh rarebit starter to two members of staff who showed no real interest - maybe they do Welsh rarebit differently in Wales! This was 12 middle/old age men on a golf trip looking for some good wholesome pub grub near to our hotel and everyone left very disappointed and we adjourned to the wine bar next door for a post meal drink! There was it seems a reason why this pub never seemed that busy!
stunning views towards pen-y-fan , lovely to sit out on a gorgeous day , most stunning burger ever and delicious fries and yummy coffee , lovely friendly staff , clean and nice decor .
