Typical Premier Inn but location is great. Car park is a bit small and ther is £7.00 for 24 hours parking charge.

Great location and helpful staff. Parking available £7.00 a night whish is good value as once you are parked the beach and the town are all accessible. Standard Premier Inn room - very comfortable and we had a sea view!!!

air con doesn't work properly and is really noisy. it's either off and the room gets stuffy or on and it keeps you awake because of the noise. can only use between 19 and 22 degrees which is crazy. unable to open any window to get fresh air in. can hear people stomping above you in the room so the soundproofing is an issue.

I have stayed at this venue numerous times before for a couple of nights at a time as well as many other Premier Inn venues. I was extremely disappointed at our room we were given as there was a picture that had clearly been ripped from the wall and not replaced or repaired and clearly not been inspected before we were given our key. But more importantly we were right on the bottom floor and there was no net curtain so we had no privacy from the public car park that was directly outside our bedroom. I spoke to the young member of staff at reception and he was clearly not interested in taking any details of our room number to further report on it or rectify the issues when we had left. I have never had any previous issues with Premier Inn, on the contrary, the standard has always been clean and consistent.

Parked in car park and opened my door only to be greeted with a loud thud. I then discovered a small 12 inch high wall that had had the top slab knocked off the of resulting with a large dent in my door that should’ve been marked with some high vis signage or a cone. Or better still someone should’ve moved the broken slab that damaged me car

Premier rooms good but costly for what you get. Clean. ''Feature lighting'' badly thought out and impractical ( do the design team test out their ideas - decent lighting for shaving only if you stood a yard away from mirror...) Small car park managed by a private company and seemed that there was not enough space for all guests.

A very pleasant overnight stay. I used to try to support local businesses when staying in Aberystwyth, but after one too many disappointments I gave the Premier Inn a try and I was glad I did. The seafront location is terrific - once you solve the puzzle of getting to the front door from inside - and the room was very clean and comfortable. Parking isn't great and cost extra, and unfortunately the windows don't open. Overall though, it was a great place to stay and definitely recommended.

Not your usual Premier Inn. Great seafront, central location. Appears to be 2 or 3 traditional seafront hotels knocked about with a whacking 3 storey extension on the back, turning it into quite a substantial Premier Inn. Smallish car park around the back that costs £7:00 per 24hr period to park there. Entrance to the hotel is from the car park, or from the front. Staff in the hotel and restaurant are lovely, efficient, helpful and friendly. I only stayed 1 night, a Sunday, for work. Dinner and breakfast was the standard Premier Inn menu, and the restaurant is within the hotel, rather than in a pub next door. Food as expected and service excellent. I was given a room with a sea view on the 2nd or 3rd floor? can't remember now. Really great view but the room was tired and wonky, giving a nod to the building's history. Not meaning to sound ungrateful, but I think I'd have preferred a room in the modern extension and forfeited the view of the older room - it was very much 60s traditional seafront hotel - smelled a bit stale, mouldy bathroom sealant, draughty windows etc. I think staying in Premier Inns frequently, I've come to expect adequate, free on site parking and level solid floors etc. Surprisingly decent WiFi. I had a walk along the front in the evening and when I opened my curtains the following morning there were people having a swim in the sea at 08:00 am! I only stayed 1 night and was there on business, so didn't see much else. There's a little cinema just behind the car park and when I went out for a walk there appeared to be loads of bars, restaurants etc. still open, even late on a Sunday in November. It's definitely the location that sells this one.

A Premier Inn squeezed into a traditional seafront hotel. Some rooms offer a great sea view - others overlook the car park, I don't there's a way of saying which you prefer. We had one sea view room and one car park view room, the later was very warm and no amount of air conditioning changed this. The rooms are a good size with some rooms offering a bath and others a shower cubicle. All rooms include a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant is quite small and at busy times it's essential to book breakfast. The restaurant wasn't open in the evening when we were there. The car park is £7 a night and was full when we stayed - the nearby public car park is slightly cheaper and offers electric car charging.

Rooms clean and the building has been sympathetically restored so there is no really garish purple signs on the sea front. Lots of parking at rear which is where reception is.

The room, staff and service was excellent, the only thing that let it down was the evening meals as most of them are cooked from frozen instead of cooked fresh. For a sea view room ensure you book the rooms with a bay window ;)

Nice location, facilities all clean and modern. Had a couple of peaceful nights' rest here on the weekend and was pleased we'd booked due to the comfy beds and aircon what with the muggy weather lately. I gave the Rooms 4 stars as I can only assume a recent guest in our room was clearly a smoker and there was a not insignificant trace of smoke in the room still. I mentioned whether we could switch to Sophie (I believe) on the desk and although there wasn't any alternative available she went to the trouble of setting up a fumigator they had in the room whilst we went for a walk. When we returned we enquired as to whether the restaurant was still open (don't believe it was at 9:30pm on this particular Friday) but again Sophie obliged us in sorting out some ice cream for our family that we ate at the bar seating whilst the room finished fumigating. When we returned to the room it was much fresher so absolutely cannot fault the friendly and attentive service we received here. Location also 4 stars only due to the car park being rather small and we had to make a rather adhoc parking spot for ourselves, the hotel itself though is ideally located on Aberystwyth promenade tough.

Many many thanks to Simon and Amy at the Premier Inn Aberystwyth. We arrived at 3am after our car broke down. The RAC accidentally took us here where we were not actually booked. Despite the late hour and the hotel behind initially fully booked Amy and Simon did their very best to find us a room which they did. If it wasn’t for them we don’t know what we would have done. They were kind and polite, made sure we were ok and went well out of their way to help us. Many thanks again guys.
