I'm not sure what's happened to this place but it has gone downhill. The service and food selection was a lot better pre covid era during my student years. I think the strongest selling point at that time was their dim sum and custard buns that they used to serve for lunch. It was better than the ones you'll find in any Aber takeaway. Their weekly menu at the chefs table was consistently delicious and filling. I was surprised to find out they do not serve food anymore at the chefs table after 1400, which is a shame since most students and lecturers finish their work and classes after 1700. Their cooked to order food menu is bland, soggy and hastily prepared. I'd give it a huge miss. You're better off going elsewhere to get better food like to neighboring food store to get a microwave meal or to a chippy shop nearby.

Came in afew days ago, was served on the till by an older lady with short hair, she was so rude and snappy with me, she was also just screaming orders to her co workers who were doing an amazing job! she ruined my experience if i could rate 0 for service from her i would 😡

Whilst waiting in line a week ago I saw the same tongues being used from a walnut cake for cinnamon rolls by an old lady with short hair please be wary of this if you have a nut allergy as this quite serious

Consistently overcharging. This has happened to me 3 times, and I've only been there a handful of times. Dirty place. Some unfriendly staff. Overpriced food. Not great quality.

Nowhere near enough staff to cope with busy times. Felt very sorry for the girl manning the coffee shop and till with a line snaking down the hall.

Well organised and Great Staff! Can be very busy at times but open and roomy so well good for a place to eat and have a break...😎

Taste is sometimes good, sometimes meh. But they always have vegan options, which is nice. Usually, you have to pay extra for veggies, though.

Shut today and tomorrow, so don't waste your time. Unfortunately two other people had a wasted journey as well. Parking 'looked' free, and was for 2 hours, but probably worth a call first so no surprise post your meal.

This is a great place to stop and get a coffee and something to eat whilst charging car on the car park. Staff are super friendly, facilities are very clean and the food is great.

Great value for money lovely staff good choice

I think this is the place at the uni we had lunch, sorry Google, not sure. Sandwiches were fine, good looked good, sausage bap was a bit squashed, bit still tasted fine.

There was food for a gluten free vegetarian and oh, the vegan hot chocolate is good! Views down to the sea from big windows, light and airy, good ventilation. A bit of a canteen like experience though there are upholstered pods if you need some peace.

Always a great customer service during the weekends. Perfect for a little coffee break.

Great place and hope that it brings the best out of my son when he starts in September! Great gym, and hopefully it brings the best shoulder delts out of my son.
