Very friendly staff with a warm welcome. Lunch for 8 was fresh, tasty and great service. Dogs welcome out in the decking if needed. Shop was also full of lovely items.
Whilst in town I decided to to have breakfast not eaten in Dalbeattie for long time as usually else where I opted for the granite kitchen only one I'd use in town service was perfect by Hannah food was absolutely delicious had been while since had breakfast in here definitely not disappointed perfection with quality food items complete with an amazing latte top marks to chef / owner Angela will be back definitely best latte I've had perfection
recommend this small cafe on the main street of castle douglas they make banging cheese toasties but i will complain about one thing there was a cheeky young lad who works there an he made an inappropriate remark about my weight
We stopped here and was closed but bless them they opened early for us. And omg it was the best service and atmosphere you could ask for. The pancakes are mouth watering and there was no issue in ordering something different off menu. The drinks are freshly made using fresh fruit. Highly recommend and would happily travel the 4 hours to eat here again
We were holidaying locally and came across the Tearoom, there was a live singer on and the atmosphere was brilliant. The sun was shining which also helped. Julie and Dan the new owners are so welcoming. The Tearoom is a fantastic place to visit.
This cafe has a really distinctive menu for its size with a choice of meat- fish- and plant-based dishes. They were extremely attentive to a very unusual dietary issue which involved them adapting several elements of one of their menu items. Both waiter and chef spoke to me before we settled on a dish. This was all handled in really friendly manner.
Best cooked breakfast Dumfries has to offer, bar none! Great coffee too. Really comfortable and peaceful space with views of the golf course. Well priced and friendly service
Wonderful and welcoming wee cafe within Gracefield Arts, lots of space between tables. Managed to grab a pot of tea, and homemade mint rocky road before it closed. Lots of delicious looking cakes on offer, very good value and affordable prices. Was able to dry off after a downpour, and not rushed. Then was able to visit the exhibition and look around the shop, which was full of lovely local crafts, good quality art cards and gifts
Second time I have been overcharged ! Probably stick to Francis bakers now.
Thought first time was a one off !
2 pies : £ 3.60
2 biscoff traybakes : £ 2.00
Chopped pork : £ 1.09
The only other items i got was 2 plain scones, and 2 potato scones.
Total bill was £ 10.48
Almost £ 4 for 2 scones and 2 potato scones. Come on !!!!
This place serves THE BEST BURGERS EVER!! Over the past 2 decades my hubby and I have set out to find the best burgers anywhere. Independent places, franchises, back of beyond, you name it we have tried it. We had our last night of holiday meal and chose The Shack. Absolutely no regrets, food was beyond description, tasty, fresh, perfectly seasoned, rich but not stodgy. Cannot recommend them highly enough. The two working the van were lovely and even gave my daughter an extra box to colour in. Highly reccomend this place and can't wait to visit again next year! 10/10! Thank you for the amazing food.
Excellent Thai and Chinese food.We could not recommend this highly enough as the food is really good and the staff are excellent. Do visit and enjoy the restaurant and the Ship Inn pub next door as you will not be disappointed!A great community eatery and Inn!
I visited the Paul Jones bakery during a trip to Kirkcudbright. The rolls are excellent and the best locally. I also bought some scotch and haggis pies, both of which were very filling and tasty. I can highly recommend if you are visiting Kirkcudbright.
Welsh adventure couple needing a hot breakfast. After reading great reviews online. We just had to stop and have a breakfast. Amazing food. No waiting and the owners are very friendly. Definitely recommend for awesome food.
Very disappointed. Lukewarm coffee, cold sausage rolls, very slow service.
Redeeming feature, the delicious fruit scones. Tasty, fruity and enjoyable.
Overall, overpriced and not impressed
