Second time I have been overcharged ! Probably stick to Francis bakers now. Thought first time was a one off ! 2 pies : £ 3.60 2 biscoff traybakes : £ 2.00 Chopped pork : £ 1.09 The only other items i got was 2 plain scones, and 2 potato scones. Total bill was £ 10.48 Almost £ 4 for 2 scones and 2 potato scones. Come on !!!!

I though this shop was ace until recent hygiene issues were raised. I shopped there every day for my takeaway lunch and I collected any other orders for my work colleagues as well as for myself. On 1 occasion during Strict Covid recommended regulations of social distancing and wearing of masks I was dismayed to have two members of staff not wearing masks and wandering around everybody who was queueing and not socially distanced in the shop . I waited outside and till there was a point where it was possible to social distance before being served in shop and when I mentioned my concerns to the staff that they were not following guidelines one member just said if I wasn’t happy Then to go somewhere else 😱so I have taken their advice and taken my custom somewhere else Along with a few other regular customers who’s lunches and other items would normally be purchased there . They say support small businesses which I am all for but if this is the way loyalty gets rewarded in this Deli then this is one small business that I will no longer support As I was so dismayed at the The low level of standards of customer regulating and mask wearing during this difficult time of staying safe !

Lovely family shop brilliant range of meats pies pastas, you always get a warm welcome try the curry coleslaw you won’t be disappointed

There has always been an Isherwood shop in Annan for as long as I can remember and that is a long time. Visited to see how it had developed over the years. Great expansion of products since the 1950's but superb quality of meat we purchased and excellent dervice from staff. This is now part of Annan's history.

I purchased “Sweet chilli noodle salad” and to my horror on taking the first mouthful the last thing I expected was it to be full of PEANUTS.Some whole but mostly crushed.No warning whatsoever on the clear container and no warning in store either.This is Law to state it contains peanuts.This could kill somebody.No excuses.

Isherwoods has been around since ever I can remember. Recently visited and it brought back great memories. My partner wanted the pies before we left as he had been to Annan Athletic and tried then He wasn't disappointed.

This has been my favourite shop in the Town of Annan for many years, it is more like Delicatessen than a corner shop, they bake there own Sausage rolls, Pies, etc, they are one upcoming shop, they have great staff who are more like friends than staff, they make you very welcome with a smile and a hello, they are developing some good diet meals for those on diets and have a great selection of meats etc, I can not recommend them enough, a 10 out of 10.

Only went in to buy brown sugar cooked ham and ended up also with homemade scones they were all delicious and so was the ham. I can recommend both.

Wonderful selection of meats, pies, and selected produce. Try the Balmoral Chicken. Chicken breast stuffed with Haggis and then wrapped with bacon. You won't be disappointed.

family ran so what you get is first class all staff very helpful .every things fresh and local goods iam sure this shop will be on the go for another 50 plus years its what the big shops has not got

A great family-owned shop, the best in the area for fresh produce. Their range of cooked meats etc is excellent. Pies and sausage rolls are made on the premises. A good selection of home made meals are also available.

fresh backed pies are amazing, they will do fruit baskets to your price range and fresh cut meats, looking for something fresh and nice to eat then look no further

Best place in Annan for cooked meat, coleslaw best I've ever eaten. They have started making homemade pies and sausage rolls and if there is nicer round here I've still to taste them

The saying "Why fix something that isn't broken" comes into place. I have been visiting since i was a child and the shop, quality, staff and atmosphere is still as high quality as it ever has been. Highly recommend for fresh produce especially their ground coffee blends!

The best wee shop ever for fresh produce . Great tasting homemade food !! When I visit isherwoods shop I always come away with a bag load of goodies even though I only went for one or two items

A lovely old fashioned shop, excellent service with friendly staff. The coleslaws are second to none, cold meats so tasty and the range of sausages are just great, only problem is you can't go in for one thing you come out with a bag full everything is so good.

This is my local shop where I go to get one of the best selection of food i.e. bacon sausages, haggis, eggs, cold meats etc. the best about it is if you just fancy 2 slices of bacon or 1 or 2 sausages you ask for what you want, this is a family business over a lot of years and they are catering for what other multinational shops cant supply. there staff are very friendly, helpful and well trained I visit this lovelt shop at least 5 days a week and don't mind recommending this shop to others.

Fantastic meat, friendly atmosphere, also a good range of other foods like ice-cream, cakes, vegetables, biscuits, crisps.

Excellent fresh bread, home made coleslaw and off the bone ham which together make an AWESOME sandwich. Great shop with a friendly and old style approach.

Good old-fashioned service here. This shop has wonderful cold meats and coleslaw freshly prepared on the premises, you won't get this anywhere else in the area. Hampers made up in baskets to your own specification...fantastic. All served by the ever-smiling, ever optimistic John and his super EFFICIENT staff!!

Has been in the Isherwood family for many years my mother used it many moons ago it's what you call a traditional grocery has everything if not they will get it for you beats Tesco any day

This is an original good old type of shop, selling fresh meats, fruits and vegetables, fresh coffee beans, also contains butchery dept. Lovely fresh salads and accompaniments. Make up beautiful hampers for you also. A must to visit when shopping.

I used to be the Isherwoods message boy many years ago so this reveiw may be a bit bias, but its still the best shop in town if you want quality home made produce. Just check out the deli counter,brilliant,doesn't get much better.
