Fantastic gem in Dumfries. The food was great quality and a good price and tasted better than most resteraunts. Might be expecting pub food if you stop in but this place has some of the best food I've had in a while at a great price point. Highly recommended. The staff are also really pleasant and attentive.

Bit cold and where we sat a bit hard on the old posterior. Lunch was fine as was the service. If the above two points could be sorted then absolutely fine. For some strange reason outside the men's toilet area - huge radiator in wrong place

Visited with friends on Friday evening . I’ve been a few times recently for lunch but not dinner . We all had different meals . Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food it was delicious. Service was excellent and the staff were so cheerful. Portions quite large and reasonably priced . The best panzanelli I have had in a long time . Will certainly return .

We had a pasta special on a Thursday night. Panzanelle to start, a huge portion of pasta with garlic bread on the side and a glass of wine for £13.99. You certainly get your moneys worth, although found the pasta portion a bit too much. We had to take it away and it FILLED a takeaway container. Would definitely return.

We were a family of 5 (including a toddler) and the staff were very accommodating to us all. Two staff members stood out (sorry I can’t remember your names) the lady originally from Nottingham who was extremely helpful telling her places to visit with the kids and offering my toddler some colouring when she started to get abit upset and the man who was new who served us he was really polite and again very helpful. The food was delicious it’s very rare everyone is happy with their food in a family of 5 but it was incredible. Best food I’ve had since visiting Scotland and well priced for the portion size. Highly recommend I wish I could give more stars. I hope to return again before we leave for home.

They have a good range of food at slightly above average price. The meals we had were tasty and decent sized portions. I had an Innis & Guns IPA beer which was good to totally overpriced at £6.80.

Booked online and asked for a quieter table. We arrived a bit early and we were shown straight to a nice quiet table in the corner. Great extensive menu! Food was amazing. Steaks cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. Well done.

Food is great and the portions are large. Because of this, it is on the pricey side but the portion sizes I'd say balance it out quite well. They also make some good cocktails, so it's both a good place for a meal or somewhere to get some drinks. I will say though the drinks are on the expensive side too.

Food is pretty good, especially the burgers, the Alfredo past is pretty bland and tasteless . The food is a bit over priced tbh, for a small town anyway. The drinks are expensive also, charging 39p for cheap ketchup is a bit far.

Popped in for a late lunch. Chicken stroganoff was absolutely delicious & the steak & onion ciabata was super tasty. Loved the addition of the slice of passion fruit & orange in our J20 drinks. Service was top class, will defo be back & would highly recommend 👌

Visited last weekend with our friends for lunch . The food was lovely two of us had a steak and onion panini the men had burgers . We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch . The service was very good . We shall return . Value for money

Absolutely amazing food my fajita pasta and cheesecake were stunning

Passing through town on way to the ferry, my family and I needed dinner. This lovely beacon appeared. It's clean, friendly and absolutely fine. When we were there it was doing a random line in early 2000 pop music from the stereo, which seemed apt for the menu. Think it was the early 2000's that I last had a fajita from a sizzling pan, but anyway.. turns out the early 2000's were right, this is good food that we've all forgotten. Large portions, chips tasty, staff friendly and helpful... Maybe there is more good stuff from the early 2000's that we have forgotten? Anyway, we do the ferry once it twice a year and I think we'll be back in this place again.

We had an amazing meal at the Corner Eatery. We had a table of 8, and every dish we received was piping hot and delicious. Two of us had the scallops to start with, which were just delicious, and at less than £10 amazing value....

The Eatery was able to take a walk in on a early Saturday evening,(unlike the popular Italian and Tapas restaurant's). The service was pleasant, atmosphere chilled and food was nice.

Have had drinks here a few times. Cocktails are delicious, especially passion fruit mojito. Their outside seating area is perfect when the whether is nice. Food is very tasty too! Fajita chicken pasta was amazing. The nachos were delicious too. Staff are always present too....

Group of 6 would not accept any non European ID outside of a passport. Not handled well, made to feel that group was doing something wrong. For reference a foreign drivers license should suffice. From gov.uk Examples of acceptable ID include photo card driving licences, passports or proof of age cards bearing the PASS hologram, although other forms of ID which meet the criteria laid out above are also acceptable.

We ate there after travelling to the area for a weeks holiday. I couldn't recommend the place high enough. The food was all fantastic. The service was great. A must eat for anyone in the area.

This site has seen a few restaurants come and go and was, up until last year, an offshoot of "Crumb" and branded as "Crumb on Bank Street". The original Crumb restaurant still exists on St Michael Street. Looking for a place to eat in Dumfries...

Food is simply delicious with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. We had nachos with cajun chicken, garlic mushrooms, salt and pepper chicken noodles and mixed burrito and they were all excellent. The main courses did take a bit longer that we would've liked to come out, and the double espresso that I ordered tasted more like a really strong coffee than an espresso. Overall an excellent bar/restaurant with some room for improvement.

Did like this place but they should really ask you how well you like your burgers cooked. Ours were a bit underdone for our taste but each to their own would have been a better experience if they had asked.

Online showing fully booked so phoned at the last minute and managed to get a table for 2. Restaurant was busy, so that was a good sign. Started with the large Nachos to share, good size bowl, fresh and delicious. Main meals of creamy mushroom pasta and the sizzling vegetable fajita were a delight. Too stuffed for a desert and finished with coffee. Staff great, very much recommended to eat here. Good drinks menu for cocktails.

Food was bland for the most part. It seemed like it was overstaffed for that time if day, entering was somewhat awkward when met with so many people waiting to assist you. Decent level of service once seated however. Timing between check-ups was well timed.

We visited The Corner while staying in Dumfries for the night. We chose macaroni cheese (which was OK) and a veggie burger (which was a bit disappointing, as the patty itself had hardly any flavour to it), as well as two cocktails. You can see this place is a bar first, as drinks were very nice while the food wasn’t anything special. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall a pleasant experience.

Great food, family friendly and very spacious

Visiting Dumfries, and picked this place from a list of restaurants and couldn’t be happier with my choice. Covid-19 measures and restrictions were well implemented and maintained with a one way system and sanitiser throughout the place. Staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. And the food was out of this world. I can’t recommend this place enough and next time I’m back in Dumfries, it’s a definite place to visit again for me. Keep up the good work!
