We were holidaying locally and came across the Tearoom, there was a live singer on and the atmosphere was brilliant. The sun was shining which also helped. Julie and Dan the new owners are so welcoming. The Tearoom is a fantastic place to visit.

Very friendly. However, lovely home baked scone with strawberry jam was served with margarine not butter and spray cream rather than clotted cream or thick double cream which we would have expected!

Our annual visit with grandchildren, playing a round of golf and then tea, sandwiches and cakes. Really friendly and helpful staff - the children love Craigieknowes as do we, having been coming to the area for over 50 years, Craigknowes golf and tea room is exactly what was needed. See you next year B

visited here for a coffee / cake while staying in the holiday park nearby.Nice set up with good choice of drinks and cakes. As sun was shining and we had our dog we sat outside - dogs are welcome inside too. Service was very attentive and quick. Wee bit pricey but to be expected given economic times and fairly short season to make it commercially viable. Definitely worth popping in for a drink if in the area

We stayed just across road in a log cabin and we decided to go for afternoon tea while my dad played golf. It was great, well worth the money and service was fantastic. Highly recommend.

We stay in Kippford once or twice a year and always make a point of popping into the tee room. A great place to have a good brew and a slice of cake. Staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Been staying in Kippford for years and whilst we've played golf before we haven’t ventured to the cafe. We popped across from our caravan for a treat of coffee and cakes. Greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. Coffee and cakes lots of choice and appeared homemade, they were lovely and table overlooking the golf course made this a picturesque setting. Had to chuckle at the age if the silver cross high chair my niece had this and she's over 30 now just shows how they built things to last! We will return most definitely

It was raining the day of our visit. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food is homemade. The Carrot and Coriander soup was hot and had loads of subtle flavour. The toffee cake was beautiful, soft and not overdone with icing. The pot of tea was lovely to finish off a great lunch.A lovely little gift display of local artists, candles, jewelery and homemade jams.A lovely little cafe.

We visited here 2 years ago on holiday and remembered how nice it was so definitely had to come back. There is a wide choice of snacks and cakes on the menu and everything we chose was really nice. The jacket potatoes were great and the cream tea delicious. Both ladies serving were welcoming and polite and nothing was too much trouble. As well as the wide selection of food and drinks there were lots of gifts for sale.Would definitely return here if staying nearby again.

I always receive here the same lovely welcome year after year. Food and service are superb - good menu and everything home made including the cakes. Tables inside and out. There’s a crackin’ little 9 hole par 3 golf course with superb views up the Urr valley. There’s clubs for hire, a little putting area, and even a place set aside for archery - oh and lots of space for parking.

Last week we stayed at Kippford and visited The Tee Room on several occasions either for coffee and cake or tea and toasted teacake. On each occasion the service was excellent. The lady remembered us after the first visit (may be that was due to the large fluffy keeshond we had with us rather than our sparkling and witty conversation). Whether we sat inside or out she was happy to bring our food and drinks to us and to stand and chat a while. The food is reasonably priced considering the beautiful surroundings both inside and out and the range of quality gifts and souvenirs available to buy was the cherry on the bun for me. We planned to have a last coffee there before we set off home but sadly had to leave before it opened. If anyone who works there is reading rhis, thank you very much and see you next year!

Having gone into Kippford itself, it was impossible to find anywhere serving food at 2.30 on a bright & sunny Friday afternoon. We had gone into the pub on the main street only to be ignored, along with other prospective customers for over 10 minutes....so we left! Thank goodness we found the Tee Tearoom at the golf course on the edge of the village. We were made very welcome & enjoyed a fresh pot of tea & toasted sandwiches....the staff could not have been more friendly & welcoming.

We visited a family of 5, 4 adults and a child. The staff were friendly, sharing the days specials and chatting about the local area. We order 3 soup and sandwiches & 2 blue cheese quiche. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. The cheese and pickle in the sandwiches were locally made & very tasty. The lattes were lovely, just right. We were all full so took cake to go, which again we were all very pleased with. This cost £11 head so good value for such lovely local food.

We visited twice during our stay at Kippford to play the 18 hole pitch and putt with our two children age 10 & 12. It was really good value and just what we wanted as the 9 hole course is for experienced golfers so this suited us fine. We didn't visit the cafe but it looked nice.

Chuffed to bits we found this place. Located directly opposite Kippford Holiday park where we stayed this was ideal. Food was lovely, boys experienced their first haggis on a jacket spud, but their favourite was the ice cream milkshake. The soups were lovely, the sandwiches were nice, good selection of the lovely Cream of Galloway ice creams. Great little par 3 course and bargain putting green opportunity for the kids.Staff extremely friendly and happy to chat and recommend places to visit.Well worth a visit for a nice lunch with lovely surroundings.

4th year in a row visiting Kippford and staying on Kippford Holiday Park, Tee Room nice and handy for the odd take away but every time I have visited it, which is often, it is always closed. No visible hours of business displayed. Very disapointing, how on earth do they make a living.

Been here a couple of times and we always enjoy coming back. Come at lunchtime for fantastic toasties, served with salad and pringles. Someone in my group had the pate and oatcakes and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although the interior and food is simple, everyting is very fresh and I am pleasently surprised with the quality of the toasties. The staff are friendly but proffesional. The cafe is on a golf course and a putting green is nearby.

Visited the Frothy this morning for the first & very last time as the cafe is closing. Whilst the cafe was comfortable the coffee wasn’t the best ever tasted and we were stunned at the price! Compared to other coffee houses close by it was surprising; could this be a reason they are not finding it profitable?

Went for breakfast & the place was pretty quiet. Disappointed with portion size. Ordered 2 x breakfast & 2 x cup of teas which came to £25.75. Gave feedback to member of staff & they were not interested. Won’t be back.

I go here regularly for a carvery as it is one of the best I have been to. I am a very fussy eater and to find a carvery that serves chicken as an option is surprising difficult. The three meats to choose from are usually chicken, beef and gammon/ham. The veg/side options usually include cauliflower cheese, broccoli, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, cocktail sausages and stuffing, but the roast tatties are my favourite part of the meal! You are limited to going up to fill your plate only once but I usually leave feeling very full. Sometimes I have soup as a starter as well depending on what kind it is. I highly recommend giving the carvery a go for anyone who is a fan of a good roast!

This cafe served the worst scone I have ever had / didn't have. (and that's saying something as I'm in my 70s and have had a few in my time. You could build a house with a few of them. Inedible expensive rubbish. It came in a paper bag, no plate and a wooden disposable knife which struggled to cut it. The coffee was served in a paper cup. But was drinkable. Cost over £13 for two coffees and two inedible scones. I am disgusted and will definitely won't be back

Friendly, relaxed, flexible and fun. Nick was a brilliant teacher and good company. Took Mother for some quality time together and she was immediately put at ease and we both had a lovely time. Will definitely go again. If you want quality experiences with friends and family AND you want to learn some great life skills to boot then book your place!
