Best cooked breakfast Dumfries has to offer, bar none! Great coffee too. Really comfortable and peaceful space with views of the golf course. Well priced and friendly service

We had our Christmas staff night out here and it was brilliant!! Food was amazing and the party night was fab everyone in our group really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend and will be booking again for next year 🎅🏽😊

Thanks to the team at the Creighton Golf club for looking after everyone superbly on the 20th of July at our funeral wake. The food and service from the team was top notch.

With current rules the restrictions made the wake unusual to say the least but Craig and the team made us feel very welcome and it ran very smoothly.

Great atmosphere I think everyone one was ready to party. Super meal turkey an trimmings and hog roast with good selection veg and mashed potatoes. Also roast potatoes to die for and as much gravy as you liked. Out of the 4 Xmas dinners I have eaten so far this was the best. The desserts were excellent too. Jingles disco had everyone up dancing and he played a good mix of music.

Unfortunately when we arrived after golf there was only one person on duty. She was trying to cook meals for 5 ladies so we had a long wait of nearly 20 minutes for a couple of cold drinks. Disppointing.

The food menu had a good choice & we received or mains very quickly. During his meal my husband noticed the sticky price label on his plate. We did tell the staff. They had apparently been through the dishwasher, obviously not very successfully. My prawn & tuna salad was lovely but my husbands pastry of his steak pie was almost white & just dissolved to crumbs when he put his knife into it. It was just an undercooked shell for pastry. Once we finished our main we waited 20 minutes to get our tea scones & cakes. The table beside us got their mains after us but got their tea, scones cakes long before us. When I was a child & was taken out often for high tea,one of my Dad’s favourite. The tea scones & cakes were all served together with the main. Usually on a lovely big cake stand. Not so keen on the modern slate, but that’s just me. We like butter with our scones. One other thing that really upset me. When we arrived we were directed to a small table for two by the window, I am using crutches at the moment & they sat in neatly behind the curtain. Out of site & bothering no one. The owner came & said she would take them away & they won’t fall & bother me. I said no it’s ok I will probably need to go to the toilet. She said that’s ok we’ll bring them back for you & she whipped them away & put them right out of the restaurant into the foyer. After I finished my main I did in deed need to go to the toilet but there was no staff available to get my crutches. When someone appeared I had to call out to her to get my crutches which I found very embarrassing. Now I have been using crutches for the past 5 months & have never experienced this. I even went here with friends for lunch one day & my crutches were never mentioned. I feel this was a discriminatory thing to do. Perhaps this lady needs this explained to her. Because of this & other problems mentioned we won’t be back & I will not be recommending to my friends. Particularly my disabled friends.

June and her team gave us first class service today at her newly advertised Afternoon tea. There were 12 of us and we all enjoyed our meals which ranged from Chilli Chicken, Steak Pie, Lasagne, Veg Lasange, Omelette, and specially made Cod and chips for our youngest family member. Large portions of food, served hot and tasted delicious. The creme de la creme was the large cake stand full of mouth watering cakes and scones, accompanied by tea, coffee of choice. All this for £12.50 each, well worth the money for the great food and attentive service.

At a family funeral yesterday, food was excellent, but older lady behind the bar was very very rude and unprofessional, I forgot a drink and she tutted and rolled her eyes, then other family members had to go find her when they wanted served. Afraid I won’t b back. It’s nice to b nice and a smile would have been appreciated

Besides the excellent presentation of prizes to the Club Players, a big mention has to go out to June the Caterer and her Staff. It is rare nowadays to get a well cooked, hot meal at large capacity events. The food was very tasty and for me the service temperature was superb. Well done to all.

June and her team gave superb service during the planning and on the wedding day itself. From the wedding service to the excellent meal and later hog roast provided, drinks, etc June and her staffs attention to detail was simply exceptional! Great wee place for lunch. My husband and I eat here about once a month, my husband probably more as he golfs here too! Extensive lunch menu and everything I've tried is delicious. Staff are very helpful and polite. Been here for a few functions too at night, all in all a great wee place!

We held our wedding reception here in July. From the very first visit we knew this was the place for us, June was warm, welcoming and so down to earth we quickly felt at ease and 'at home'. We booked there and then that day. We weren't disappointed. Thought the planning process June was happy to answer any questions we had, even the daft ones.. she helped us out with suggesting a first class DJ and also a lovely lady who me our gorgeous wedding invites (June have you though of a career in wedding planning?) Thanks June. The run up to the wedding went smoothly, planning the food, look of the hall etc was a joy working with June. On the day of the wedding the hall looked amazing, my vision had came to life thanks to Finishing Touches . The layout looked great and we were over the moon with it. It is a fantastic space for a wedding. June ran the reception for us wonderfully, from getting me to sit down and eat, helping me sit in my dress , looking after our guests, keeping us on track with times, taking pictures and videos for us. And plenty more. June again...thank you. We booked a hog roast, well, it was delicious, the guests still rave about how nice it was, with the stuffing, fresh rolls, chips, apple sauce, it wasn't even any hassle to make up a vegan option for a guest! Honestly the food was wonderful. Seconds for most people. The bar staff also were great, keeping our guests well hydrated. Thanks. We hired the ice cream cart which went down a treat, kids and adults alike loved it. It was a warm night and the side doors were open and the kids ran in and out all night having a great time, the adults also sat outside enjoying the sunshine. I can't recommend the Clubhouse, June and her team highly enough. Don't hesitate in visiting or booking here. You won't be disappointed. June I've told you this already, but again a heart felt thank you from us both for making our day perfect. 😍

We held our whole wedding here on the 9th may. What an amazing time we had.June and all of her staff were just fab. Nothing was ever a problem. The food was superb. The carvery we had during the day and the hot rolls at night. I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding. Everyone was so professional. The room was turned around 3 times from when we got married to our evening party and not one problem. We had the.most amazing day and we would like to thank everyone from the chef to the bar staff who made our day and night so brilliant x

Having held two family celebrations here at the Crichton Clubhouse I look forward to booking another! Planning the parties was easy and the venue was set up just the way we wanted. The food, be it a sit down meal or buffet is very good. Extensive range of items and conveniently presented in a room off the main area. The sweets are excellent especially those which are home made. Bar staff and waitresses were helpful and saw to our requests. The location is good and there is convenient parking. Be it lunch, high tea, a party or just a drink give this is one to consider.

My neighbour held her daughter's 18th birthday party here and the service from the staff was terrible..right from the minute we walked in we felt the staff would rather be somewhere else..rude and very stand offish..not much hospitality in the building..my advice would be to look at other venues

Went there with some friends from college large portions and price ok . Burgers were nice and service was good . Handy for a quick lunch time fill up

Visited yesterday again for lunch with friends We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and each had something different . It was tasty enjoyable good and prompt service and value for money . This is becoming a favourite of ours as we have visited many times and it is handy for lunch . We will certainly visit again .

Went in at lunch-time today and was asked what we wanted before we had even time to look at the menu. She waited while we looked and felt rushed to order. After ordering we waited 45 mins for our food to arrive and for waitress to say sorry it took so long but we're really busy today, I looked round and there was 8 people in total in the club.What i had was delicious, hot and very tasty, my mothers on the other hand was very fishy as if it had been sitting out waiting to be cooked for some time, to the extent where she left almost all of it

Visited club again for lunch last week with my colleagues . The food as always was tasty and value for money . The service was prompt and efficient . Everyone enjoyed there lunch and we will certainly return .

We were in a party of 30 who visited the clubhouse bar for out staff night out on sat 14th dec, we have been going out for the last 14 years and this is by far the best, from the warm welcome when we arrived to the meal of traditional xmas food including a fab hog roast, to the selection of puddings there must have been at least 12, we then got to a gorgeous ice cream cart serving locally produced ice cream, we then enjoyed fabulous music by otis jones, thinking it couldnt get any better we then weretreated to the fantastic drums & roses! Well worth every penny! Weare all still buzzing from it yet! We will without a doubt be back next year!

Four of us visited the Crichton Clubhouse for a pre Christmas lunch. It was excellent, super menu,plenty to choose from. Three of us had the traditional Christmas 3 courses the other had slow roasted beef and yorkshire pudding. The desserts are superb. We were impressed with the decor and the quality of the Christmas crackers no rubbish here.Thanks to June and her staff for a lovely afternoon in pleasant surroundings with excellent food. Well worth a visit.

My family and I visited the Crichton Clubhouse for high tea in October 2013. We were immediately struck by the clean and pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was friendly and helpful. There was a fine selection of main courses. After perusing the menu, we each selected a different meal, all of which were prepared to an excellent standard. These wonderful meals did not disappoint us one bit and we ate every bite. We were then flabbergasted by the huge selection of scones, cakes and tray bakes presented beautifully on a slate cake stand. We were also brought Scottish tablet as we visited said establishment close to the time of Halloween. As we could not finish the incredible cake selection, the waitress kindly offered a tidbit bag to bring home our delectable leftovers. Advantageously for our children, there was the added bonus of free Wi-Fi!!! On the whole, this was an exceptionally commendable feast. Splendid value for money. We hope to revisit in the exceedingly imminent future.

My daughter recently got married her reception was at the clubhouse bar, the food was first class,staff were very friendly and helpful,the proprietress pulled out all the stops for us and couldn't do enough,the whole night was superb and would recommend the clubhouse for any occasion.

Been to clubhouse for different occasions including there lovely high teas on a Sunday. Usually get the fish and chips, delicious and the batter is homemade. You also get a choice of lovely cakes/scones which are all homemade aswell! Never been disappointed by the high standard of the clubhouse, good atmosphere, great food (especially the high tea) and very friendly staff recommend a visit to this great place :).

Great lunch and fabulous service once again. As usual a great welome Acess and help for wheelchair users very good. They have a great menu and value for money

I visited the club house with colleagues on Friday. The food was outstanding as always .My favourite is the onion tasca bread I have had this three times now with various fillings . My colleagues enjoyed their food also . The service was great and you are always made welcome . Very good value for money ,they also do a set lunch menu if you are extremly hungry . The home made coleslaw is wonderful . One of the best lunches I have had in Dumfries .I certainly will return .
