Welsh adventure couple needing a hot breakfast. After reading great reviews online. We just had to stop and have a breakfast. Amazing food. No waiting and the owners are very friendly. Definitely recommend for awesome food.

Found this wee place by accident and as a tourist looking for a quick bite to eat before our long journey home. What a lovely place for breakfast which was great value for money and very tasty with a lovely mug of hot tea to accompany. The new owner was a lovely woman and I believe her son was the server, a very friendly and professional guy too, made to feel very welcome. I wish the Route 75 diner all the best with this new venture.. Good luck

whilst touring the borders of scotland , Dunfries and Galloway to be precise i stumbled upon a fantastic cafe tucked away in a lay-by off the A75 between Dumfries and Castle Douglas , called Route 75 , run by a very nice/ friendly staff known as Gwen and Alex , the food was exceptional and the price was very reasonable , its not the biggest eaterey that i have ate in but with the experiance i and my family received i am sure they will grow ,

Been working a lot in the area recently and stopped here a lot of times due to the good atmosphere and good food. As an ex chef I couldn't help noticing the high standard of cleanliness, attention to detail and quality of service.

This was our 2nd visit to the diner. We stopped on our way from Gatehouse to Perth. Fish and chips for me, one large breakfast for my fiancé and Eddie our pet dog had his own sausage and bowl of water. Food is fantastic and I would highly recommend a stop at this diner. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner and the young girl who served us. Will definitely return soon.

Well signed before arriving we had expected a traditional diner. The trailer was fine and the snacks were good and hot.

We have a static van at a local site and make a point of visiting Route 75 when time permits. It is a lovely, clean establishment. Very friendly owner and staff. Food is fantastic. We usually have the full breakfast and it is fabulous value for money. Quality of the produce used is first class.

Tired and hungry we stopped off here, and not disappoint. Food was great we all had something different to eat, safe place to let dog out for a walk. Very clean, staff couldn't do enough for us, large menu to choose from, the food is all cooked to order, and a really good price, they do carry out food too. Will be telling our friends and family.

I don't normally frequent Transport Cafes or Roadside Diners, but I discovered this little gem about 6 years ago and since then I've revisited whenever I'm going anywhere near it. The Route 75 Diner is a cabin about 6 miles to the west of Dumfries,...

This diner, colorfully named The Diner Route 75 in homage to its American roots, makes for a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We had a really good break from Stranraer en route to Dumfries here. It's just off the main road, but extremely well sign posted.

A lovely warm welcome from the Lady serving us and so far the best breakfast I have ever had in Scotland (and I've had a few). Cafe is spotlessly clean and prices are fair, well worth a visit in my honest opinion.

This cafe served the worst scone I have ever had / didn't have. (and that's saying something as I'm in my 70s and have had a few in my time. You could build a house with a few of them. Inedible expensive rubbish. It came in a paper bag, no plate and a wooden disposable knife which struggled to cut it. The coffee was served in a paper cup. But was drinkable. Cost over £13 for two coffees and two inedible scones. I am disgusted and will definitely won't be back

Visited the Frothy this morning for the first & very last time as the cafe is closing. Whilst the cafe was comfortable the coffee wasn’t the best ever tasted and we were stunned at the price! Compared to other coffee houses close by it was surprising; could this be a reason they are not finding it profitable?
