WOW - Amazingly good! First class service and atmosphere in a warmly lit restaurant, where the staff are exceptional at making you feel welcome. The highlight of our trip!!!
Lovely location by the riverside, the Winter frost on the trees made a romantic setting that could be compared to any European city for its romantic atmosphere.
Food here was fabulous to look at, tasted fantastic and was an absolute joy to eat - ‘early bird special price’ on the oysters was a real treat, they were so delicious and everything was so beautifully presented. If you’ve not tried oysters before I’d encourage you to give them a try here - so many options. Our Cod & Hake dishes were perfectly cooked, photos show how beautiful the plates looked - We’ll definitely return.
NB. Tips for the staff aren’t automatically added to the bill, but can only be left in cash - take cash! They deserve a tip, as the service is really exceptional!
I had the most delicious onion soup. A little bit pricey but for a treat, totally worth it. Most of the menu is best for sharing. But there’s a few bits you can enjoy on your own. Super friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere.
Very nice place for a quick bite. Very clean and a lovely vibe about it. Had the 3 cheeses grilled sandwich and hoooooly s***!! Simply the best I've ever had!
The sweet pastry selection was also to die for!
Worth the detour if you are in Inverness.
This small street cafe style Thai restaurant is fantastic! Freshly cooked, hot Thai food served by friendly staff. As there are only a few tables it's best to book, now also open at lunchtime. BYO. Free parking nearby.
Very kind people and cosy environment which made us feel warm and good.
Travelled to see the loch ness views and found this incredible café. The soup made us feel at home and the food tasted good.
Excellent little cafe on the main high street. Very friendly, attentive staff and excellent food and coffee, along with a much appreciated fire during the cold weather. Went twice during our two days visiting.
Lovely quality food, cooked really well and locally sourced. Staff were friendly and smiley. Easy to book online. It's a bit more pricey than many other Shetland venues but it is very nice so I would recommend trying it if you can. Stock local beers as well
Breathtaking spot on earth. A beautiful lake surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Cairngorm National Park. We've been here countless times in winter and have almost always been able to enjoy the landscape wrapped up in snow and cold. Also fantastic for campers, winter sports enthusiasts, nature lovers and weekend trippers.
