A little gem of a cafe after walking the steps to the falls. Excellent Coffee (Australian opinion)

Stopped by for some refreshments whilst out cycling. Lovely little place with very friendly staff. I will definitely pop past again.

Very cozy place, with hot chocolate (deluxe) and two very delicious pastries! We were even able to play a board game there, it was perfect!

Multiple gluten free & vegan options, brownies, cakes etc. Soya and oat milk, friednly staff, perfect little place to stop at the falls ❤️ great coffee! 👍🏻

A lovely small café with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes. There are a couple of tables inside and a lovely outside decking with seating and great views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Had the carrot soup and toastie was absolute divine! The hosts are excellent 👌 Would definitely visit again keep up the great work.

A welcome oasis in a somewhat isolated location(unless you have transport) Very friendly staff, and a reasonable choice of snacks, including family bakes. From what I saw the ice cream, made on the premises was also a big hit

Great place for trekking around Falls of Foyer. Nice place, friendly staff, convenient place to park your car and rest, snacks, drinks, and cooling ice cream, sorbet, and chilled drinks.

Great lunch with gf and vegan options, . Also a great selection of gf and vegan cakes (which were lovely!). Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The cafe was very welcoming and pet friendly!

Delicious soup and sandwiches. We are not big in coffee or tea, but they smelled great. The desserts were soo good. The gift shop had many cute and unique items. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!

Tosties for less than £5, good and right opposite the falls

Not strictly breakfast but a great cheese & ham toastie with a nice cuppa tea. Lovely staff, great homemade cakes including a heavenly Persian style flapjack, yum!

10/10 for staff, food and prices. A lovely little stop on the East side of Loch Ness on the River Foyers with a lovely walk in the woods leading to the falls. The cafe was a great experiance, informal, chit chat with the staff and locals alike - an absolute gem.

Café, restaurant de toast et soupe maison . Accueil très agréable, cuisine simple mais bonne et à coût modéré . Les gâteaux sont « fait maison »et délicieux Petite boutique de souvenirs attenante mais pas envahissante Nous nous sommes arrêtés par hasard ( ce resto est situé du côté le moins touristique du Loch Ness ) et ne l’avons pas regretté du tout !!! Nous le recommandons !

We walked up with the intention of getting a cold drink, going to the falls, then coming back for coffee and cake. Having stood for 5 min in shop, while someone stocked shelves (having seen us) but ignored us. Obviously didn’t return for coffee.

Lovely coffee and cakes. The range of cakes looked delicious - there was a good mix of layer cakes and traybakes to choose from (I chose carrot cake and was very happy). The cafe is just over the road from the path down to the falls so it was very convenient. The proprietor was friendly and although the cafe is quite small, with only a few tables, there were sensible Covid measures in place. All in all, a very good experience. I’d definitely return if I was in the area again. We enjoyed the walk around the falls. We were a little disappointed that we didn’t catch a glimpse of any red squirrels, but we can hardly blame the cafe for that! :D

We’ve been to the falls on many a visit to Loch Ness, but never actually been to the Waterfall Restaurant. Please don’t miss it, it’s lovely. The gentleman serving was most courteous. The selection of cakes was amazing too. We had a toastie and a coffee, piping hot; excellent. We’ll certainly be back.

Visited here twice whilst staying in a nearby lodge. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a coffee and some cake!

After a long walk on a hot day we stopped here for coffee sandwiches and cake before we went to the falls. Coffee was fantastic as were the cakes and sandwiches. Helpful and friendly staff. The place was spotless. A real gem

A must when you visit the Foyers Falls, support this family run business. Nice outside terrace seating area. Really good value for money here, your charged really reasonable prices for drinks etc. Friendly service. Ice creams available and a gift shop selling local wears.

The cafe is across the road from The Falls of Foyer so great to park the car, explore the falls and then refresh with a soup or tea/coffee and some cake. Outdoor seating too.

The atmosphere is very relaxing, food was delicious and servers are friendly and welcoming. Would go back again!

Small cafe but busy place since only place to have some food and coffee for miles . Situated at falls foyers . Due to COVID-19 following strict rules.they knew they always busy coz of the location but taking long time to get a take away coffee. Need improvement on service timing .

Stopped here while cycling the south Loch ness trail. Great little cafe, set out for social distancing. About 4 tabled inside and another 5 or 6 outside. We sat inside quite close to the fire. Serves food until 230 and offers sandwiches, paninis, filled bagels,...

Stopped for coffee and something to eat three days running as staying locally. The cakes were delicious as was the Thai spicy soup. Very high standards of cooking. Friendly service and a great location to stop and visit the local falls.

Myself and partner stopped off here on our tour of Loch Ness.. We ordered a bacon, sausage and egg roll and a latte coffee.. Beautiful butty with good quality produce, coffee was really good. Also treat ourselves to a piece of coffee and walnut cake, lush.. Friendly staff and a real chilled feel.. would recommend to all... Thanks Waterfall... 👍❤️

Nice little cafe up by the roadside at the top of the falls of foyer. Good coffee and cake with one or two little crafted items for sale made locally.

After finishing a good walk from Foyers to white bridge and back waterfall cafe at Foyers was a welcome delight. We plumped for a coffee and the fish and chips. Sitting in two comfortable chairs taking in the pleasant surroundings of the cafe and the fantastic view of the mountain our meal arrived. I cannot fault firstly the service, secondly the coffee and thirdly the food all was excellent. I would highly recommend a stop here all be it for the food, the coffee or the cake (which I have just decided to try. Well you have to whilst you’re here) enjoy the falls of Foyer or some other walk if you like but definitely come to this gem of a cafe. Oh and in these difficult times it is good to know that they are Covid secure (yet more piece of mind)

Cozy, lovely and tasty! Had the Haggis and egg bap - hearty and hot! I write recommend. Also: excellent Covid security with staff wearing masks and plenty of sanitiser

Perfect Picnic Platter! I ordered the platter through Facebook as recommended by our host at Foyers Lodge and what a feast we had! The food was so delicious and even after doing a 7 mile walk we couldn't finish it all (we did so later on though!) Highly recommend.

On a car adventure in Inverness around the Loch and came across this little Resturaunt . We had the Crofters Feast platter for two. It was so fresh and really delicious and more than enough for two! Beautiful little oasis in the sun today!

The roll with link sausage was really nice. Hope to go back.

Mi sono fermata qui a pranzo dopo aver fatto un'escursione nella zona delle cascate. Ho mangiato benissimo...Cibo sano, gustoso e rigenerante. Il personale è molto gentile e il locale arredato con gusto. Mi manca tantissimo la Scozia. Consiglio vivamente questo locale.

Lovely cafe in front of the entrance of the Falls of Foyer. We had the chicken bread with bbq sauce and chips. Nice staff and covid19 procedures taken.

Remarkably great scones, and the soup was really good, thick, warming and home made. A huge range of cakes, good coffee and a very friendly feel. Loved it enough to go back twice more!

After a long and exhausting walk up Foyers falls. You are greeted by the Waterfall Cafe. The menu was quite extensive for such a small place. And outstanding night I add. It’s fresh and reviving meals had me well satisfied on the drive back to my hotel. Must recommend the topper bagels folks! You won’t be disappointed.

Found this place whilst visiting the waterfalls and what an unexpected gem it is. The green signage didn’t lead us to expect much, however we made our way in, the sun came out and we sat outside in a lovely rustic seating area which we hadn’t seen from the road.A great menu with something for everyone, quick and polite service and nothing too much trouble.Oh and then the food! I am pretty easy to please but time and again meals with the family whilst out and about are a let down with even basics like chips proving to be a disappointment. Not the case with the Waterfall Cafe.My wife and sister had the platter which was beautifully presented with fresh produce. I had the chicken and chips as did my son. Again it was cooked to perfection with perfect size portions and very reasonably priced.We then had some of the delicious freshly baked cake and finished up with a cup of tea.I have no idea who the chef is but he or she clearly knows what they are doing!Highly recommended and the best food and meal we had during our recent holiday in Scotland.

Stopped here for lunch, had sharing ploughman’s platter. It was a treat, warm quiche, chunk of cheese, 2 kinds of continental meats, pate, salad coleslaw and oatcakes with butter. It was a feast, thought enjoyed. Salad had a lovely dressing. Coleslaw had a lovely sweet dressing rather than mayonnaise. Plenty for 2 hungry travellers.

Good surprise, friendly welcome, the scones are very good, and you can drink a very decent espresso (a rare thing in the region)

Brilliant cake and tea. Stopped here for cake and tea after completing the foyers falls as that was a killer. Very clean and great choice of cakes. They are very busy as the only cafe on the main road of miles (I think) but very reasonably priced for all there goods.

We drove down Loch Ness on the main road from Drumnadrochit to Fort Augustus and found it interesting but rather monotonous so we decided to return to Inverness on the right hand side of the Loch and we were really pleased that we did, although narrow the road is good with plenty of passing places along the way, and the scenery is awesome, very life affirming and wide open with wonderful views of the hills. AND, then you arrive at The Waterfall Cafe. Set above the road Ona terrace overlooking the Loch, and the path down to the Falls, you can expect, excellent food and great service. We had:Tea (Earl Grey) and an Americano coffee, both good, with a scone with real cream and jam and a slice of the most delicious apple/cinnamon crumble tart. The service was to the table and the COVID-19 arrangements were all in place.Really good, thank you.

Stopped here after visiting the waterfalls for a rest and a drink but had to indulge in one of the beautiful cakes. I was greeted warmly and sat peacefully with my family enjoying the stunning views. I woukd highly recommend visiting here.

Gorgeous little cafe with outdoor and indoor seating, situated right across from the Falls of Foyers. Very warm welcome and a homely atmosphere with a great selection of food - we went for the chocolate orange crispie cake which was amazing!

Fantastic takeaway fish and chips available on Fridays. We also enjoyed the chicken and chips on special this week. Lovely friendly cafe in the most gorgeous location; just by the beautiful Falls of Foyers. Well worth popping in if you're visiting the south side of Loch Ness.

The best little cafe I have been in,so homely and lady was lovely.Especially as we were to be heading to the USA for a holiday but didn’t get as a result of COVID 19.This place was a great find.The banana muffin fantastic and my 8 nephew loved the vanilla ice cream milkshake,the best bit.Definitely be back,I will tell my friends aswell.A beautiful place foyers,even the wee shoppie next door.A fantastic place.x

After a hike up and down to see the falls we went to the lovely cafe and coffee shop. So many delicious things to eat and drink and the decor is a feast for the eyes. Can’t wait to visit again sometime.

What a welcome sight having walked to the Foyer Falls! A roaring fire comfy seating and a warm welcome. This cafe has it all! Great food, Friendly staff and dogs welcome! A bonus of a charity used book stand and lots of community information - this is do much more than a cafe - it’s a hub! Well done!

I love this café. It serves great home cooked food and, if you’re still hungry after your main course, there is a choice of yummy cake to finish off with. The prices are good and the café is clean and tastefully decorated. Dogs are welcome too.

Lovely little freindly cafe near the Lower falls in Foyers. Good walk up from the campsite, well worth it. Good food with gluten free options at very good prices. Great atmosphere with wood burner, comfy seats and outdoor seating for better weather.

The cafe has been decorated so thoughtfully and really feels cosy and welcoming. They have thought about a lot of things such as a toy box for kids and a dish of dog treats with lots of cute little touches. The food was amazing couldn’t fault it at all I had the maple and bacon pancakes and they were so good. They do an amazing selection of cakes and treats and I bought some rice crispy treats which were the best I’ve ever tasted. The people were lovely, the food was speedy and the decoration so cute I would 100% recommend!

This cosy cafe triumphed in cooking an excellent fish and chip supper. The food was hot, delicious and made to order; the mushy peas were spot on. Portions were well balanced; no need for extras! A very friendly service was given on Fish & Chip night. I will have to return for the daily menu.

After a walk at the Falls in the rain me and my companion decided to have a little treat and a git drink. First impressions of the interior was that it looked a quaint and cosy establishment.We arrived just after 12 and not knowing how strict they were to serving breakfast after 12 we opted for a scone and tea each.When asked what type of scones was available (board only said plain/sweet/ savoury) the reply was plain or fruit- no other details. Therefore we both had plain.The tea for 2 came in a pot to share which was fine except from it not being to our taste - likely due to their being 2 tea bags in the smallish pot !Disappointingly my scone completely broke up and crumbled when I attempted to cut it and attempting to add butter made it worse so I ended up eating a dry plain scone that was in tiny pieces. We both felt the scones were a let down as they had no great flavour or taste ☹

Wow after a visit over Christmas I felt I must write a review After a long walk with the dog we stopped here for lunch it was amazing and we could not fault it The atmosphere was inviting, the food delicious and the staff were a joy We came most days of the holiday enjoying the porridge board, the best flat white coffee ( we are fussy) Ever!!!! and yummy cakes I hope we get to visit again one day Happy new year

I loved this place. It was Boxing Day, so they had a limited menu of lunch sandwiches... but, boy, what a sandwich! Exceedingly yummy, and followed by some extraordinarily good cake. All in a lovely environment with friendly staff.

I am lucky enough to have this place locally to me and hands down the best cafe in the area. Staff so friendly and accommodating. the atmosphere and decoration spot on and the food is obviously cooked by a very well trained chef Cullen skink, fish and chips, post cheese on toast with local smoked cheese are all a few of my fave savoury things, although I recently had a potato waffle with spicy bean stew, loads of sour cream and melted smoked cheese and that was a game changer for me! Desert wise so many fresh homemade cakes to choose from. Coffee and walnut cake, spiced chocolate beetroot cake and banana and gingerbread loaf are my top 3 at the moment. Really would recommend this place, the view over the Loch and mountains in itself is a reason to go.

Lovely cosy cafe, real fire, great food reasonably priced, INCREDIBLE baking and right by the stunning falls. Been a couple of times now as we live in Inverness.

Cozy cafe, fabulous food and a lovely helpful owner, can't recommend highly enough. We were only in the area for 4 days but found an excuse to visit every day .

A welcome retreat from the cold November rain, sat in front of the fire, drinking hot coffee and eating homemade cakes. The only disappointment was the obtrusive pop music

Sat in the cafe now. Had a lovely late lunch after a proper walk out of Foyers. My wife had the Cullen Skink (like a thick veg soup with smoked haddock), I went for the lasagne. Both home made and first class. I was even happily permitted to bring in a bottle of craft beer from the little village shop next door. Definitely worth a visit for a bit of Scottish hospitality.

Excellent place at the top of the path that leads to Loch Ness waterfalls. The espresso I had was fantastic, easily rivaling Italian espresso. The skones are also excellent. A good checkpoint before the difficult hike that awaits those who want to see the falls!

Food was delicious, lots of flavour and freshness! Staff were lovely too and good wifi :)

We had a really lovely breakfast in here and a delicious slice of cake to take away. We sat by the fire and enjoyed a pot of tea, the Nessie monster stack each. I could of sat there all day! Thank you.

We had a delicious lunch here, with big portions. I had butternut squash, chilli and coconut soup with a cheese scone. My husband had Cullen skink, a thick fish and potato soup, the best he has ever had. Beautiful cakes also. And right beside the Falls of Foyers. Excellent.
